Pyarelal ji said that Salman should have started from a lower note. I think he started the song from key B whereas Pyarelal ji wanted him to start from key G. He explained that when a singer starts from a higher note it becomes besura when song progress to actual high note.
He told us the history behind this composition and how his buddy Laxmikant ji saved this composition for a male voice as originally it was ment to be a female voice composition and Lata ji was supposed to sing it for film Piya Log Kya kahegee. Later on the lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri sahab gave them permission to get it sung in a male voice and they asked Rafi Sahab to sing it for them.
the original song(lyrics) was:
Rut paapan meree jee ko jalayee, chup chup rooue mai laaj yee aayee
Pia loog kaya kaheege, pia loog . . . . .
They changed it to :
Chahuga mai tujhe saanjh saveree . . ..
JA said that Salman's singing was flat and could have been better.
Now KK became very defensive and disrespected Pyarelal ji. In my opinion there was no need to get aggressive in order to defend Salman. It was Pyarelalji's composition and he has all the rights to point out mistakes made by singers.

thnks for sharing ,,😳 yes it was such a cherishable moment to hear wht Pyarelalji was saying and the fact that whn Salman sang frm note key -g ,,it sunded so gud ,,
Salman is a kid he needs guidance and he was gettign proper guidance , on startign on the proper scale and what JA also mentioned too was 👍🏼 a noticiable point in fact he guided salman towards the right murki in the place most singers would have missed ,,
instead of taking it as constructive learnign , KK acually was aggressively defensive (**not really required ** ) it is udnerstood a child tryign to sing frm yesteryears that too a ** lp - rafi combi ** was not easy but he would learn more frm the constructive feedback ,,
I think it shoud have been KK who should have told him abt wht scale and note and
Salman himself realised duriging the song he had goofed up ,,he tried to pick the right scale a couple of times tooo ,,he needed guidance and was not given was so apparent
probably kk realising his own guidance was exposed became aggressive and defensive

Right on Sistah-Bro 👏
KK is the one coached Salman and he must admit his fault. LP ji's feedback applied to KK indirectly and he could not stand it so Lash out with uncalled for aggression 😡
Short man complex for sure..

I think KK was correct. These are very young children that are being judged. The spirit of the children should not be broken. How many adults can take that type of critic? These types of judges should not be brought into the show. These are children with not experience not adults with years of training being judged. The other sad point is that India will never vote for a girl - the prejudices against girls is very sad.

Sorry I beg to differ on one point ke when Salman sang G scale he sounded good. Please listen once again and you will realize he could not sing when it went lower notes singing "awaz main na dunga" part ...probably that's the reason he chose higher scale. We cannot compare his singing to Rafisaab but to me he sounded pretty neat.

How conviniently you poured your dislike-hate towards Salman by posting "Pyaarlal jee was right" Hmmm
Interesting...😳

Even yesterday's song Salman sould have sang 1 note down when he sang Omkara song "Naino ki mat maniyo re"
Just my personal observation...
