Jay Soni should not have said ..''kissine yeh nahi kaha ki aap winner ho sakti hain...'' he shud stick to his role as an anchor..he is not a Guru, neither he knows anything about the music.

KK less said is better about him, he is partial and always supports his group and finds faults in other contestants...his lengthy statements not remarks makes one sleepy...
Barnali is an awesome singer and she will be in top five...her qawali yesterday was mindblowing...👏👏
I can see another Smriti Mishra in making...a future playback singer of bollywood.

Hopefully we'll see smiles on lil champs faces and judges will be more sensitive towards all the children starting coming episodes - keeping fingers crossed !

The other topic on same issue was closed wonder why?
If a judge can bash or make a 11 years young girl-contestant cry than why cant his behavior be discussed on the forum? Media me ho to you and your behavior will be discussed..😃
KK and Jai both were out of line IMHO.👎🏼
Mohini never questioned KK as a singer or even as a judge..Only thing was mentioned was his behavior on Friday episode..The whole world knows KK has been talking waaay too much and interupting other judges or even maha guru at times.
I understand his hindi and Sanskrit b/c I know both languages..But if we are encouraging our children worldwide in taking interest than he should talk in simple language which is understood by all..
His behavior is OTT at times.
I love KK for his singing and most of his song so dont get me wrong..But some people are mixing the issues..His singing and his behavior should be kept seperate..
If any one can write to KK abt this on Twitter than they should be able to write here too..And giving constructive criticism to a judge is not bashing..He asked for it and he got it..
My 2 cents..I know & am sure this topic will be closed too..😳

@Dabulls23: I can't thank you enough for your comments.

I'm amazed that my other post was closed. At no point, we argued or even raised any question about KK's talent and abilities. We all know how immensely talented he is. However, we were discussing and expressing our views about the Friday's behavior. But, you know what, its only the moderators and a few select people here who have the right to judge what is bashing and what is not.

I seriously wouldn't be surprised if this post is closed as well.

and yeah, at no point I was trying to bash any other members as it seems has been perceived by a few other folks here.

Fair enough! Mr. Kher has apologized,
Here is what he said on FB.
Kailash Kher: dearest zahida, varsha and purna, i first of all give you badhai that in today's world you still have preserved your sensitivity. i apologise from the bottom of my heart if i have come across on lil champs as rude and insensitive to barnali. but i hope you will believe me when i say that i never in my wildest dreams intended to hurt the poor girl. i was also slightly saddened by how i sounded on the show. but please try to understand. you see 1/10th of the things we actually say to the kids on set, on your tv sets. the i definitely will apologize to my barnali if she felt bad. but what i meant to say was that this show does not decide who they are. lil champs is a significant yet only a part of who they will become. why should only the winner of the show be important? what about the fact that she is one of the 10 ten kids we have discovered after auditioning lakhs of children from around the country. why should she focus on whether she will be the finalist or not? how can we take away credit for reaching where she stands now? the group that these handful of children belong to according to me is an inspiration to myself and a lot of other people. which is why i said that it is an uplabhdi in itself . yzahida varsha and purna, i am most attatched to my children on the show. is it uncommon that a father says something that hurts the child. is it not true that nothing can hurt a father more than the tear of his child?

JT ji R U a spoke person for KK?????? 😳 Thanks for posting KK's response...FB or Twitt does not matter..This happened on Natl TV. He needs to do the same on next wknd's episode..Jai must do the same...Whole world is not on FB or Twitt...They watch TV dear...Fair is fair and that is what I as a viewer am asking..
FB or Twitt comments should not have been brought up here..I would have never posted my response...I am just following..I know it is against forum rules to bring posts from other forums..
They are adults and are supposed to be role models for these young kids..
Here is my response to Kailash Kher and I am done with it.
Peace Out..
Kailash Kher : I appreciate the time you took in responding..I totally understand what you are saying and understand hows shows are edited or not edited..Although Barnali was only one singled out with this Q or comment..I as a viewer felt y...our comment and Jai's statement made her not only cry but can affect her self esteem..Yes agree there only can be one winner..And winning does not mean being successful..Those are not my issues..I get that all and Hoping their parents have taught them winning and losing is part of life.

  • I had to say what I felt..I am not hurt pls dont misunderstand..It is that Barnali or any other child on the show would be hurt. I would appreciate if you and Jai would have an apology next wknd show on NATL TV as comments were made on TV and she cried on TV..She was taken back by you and Jai..This has nothing to do with you being a fab singer and love your songs..I have even attended your concert in LA..It has evrything to do with being a judge. Love your little kiddo Kabeer. God bless and thanks for reading and responding..TC

I sincerely appreciate KK taking the effort to reply back to his fan's. That is a very nice gesture on his part and shows how humble he is.

@JaspalToronto: I admit that in the heat of the things, we get carried away due to emotions and express whatever comes to our mind. I completely agree with KK that the show makers only show us a portion of things and sometimes that may get the most viewer attention. As viewers, we end up forming our opinion based on what we see. There is nothing we can do to change that as viewers, I guess.

Anyways, many thanks for posting KK's reply. Needless to say, all 3 judges are extremely talented in comparison to a lot of other singing reality shows that we have on Indian channels.

Every judge has their favorite here. If KK was rude to Barnali, Adnan didnt support her either. He said she wud be in top 3,but when Jai said that nobody thinks she wud win, Adnan didnt say anything. He should have said 'No, I think you can win', just to keep her happy. That made her cry. Even her own guru didnt believe in her. Then Adnan said that being in top 8 is like winning. Yeah, may be but that still sounded like saying she can only make up to top 8 , not beyond that. Adnan is always most affectionate towards children in this show. He cud have managed the situation a bit more carefully. We wudnt have felt this bad for Barnali

I totally agree that the way Barnali's feelings were hurt was not nice at all.

But I see it going a bit further.
The kind of hints we get from what we see about who will win is also getting a bit troubling for me now. I think that all contestants now are superb and singling out one or two contestants from them to shower praise every time by the judges can dampen the spirit of others. It will be great for each of them to feel like a winner. Let the audiences vote. The children will not feel too bad about voting trends because they are impersonal. But they are close to the judges and the mahaguru and the direct or indirect messages they hear from these people go straight to their tender hearts.
