Disappointing winner (what a joke) - Page 3

My heart goes out to Ridham - he is very talented and from what little I understand his singing is pretty crisp and neat - WAY neater than Gagan.

I have to agree though with the song selection and judges commentary for Ridham - I don't know how they pick/assign songs but I feel like Ridham wasn't always given good songs to show case his range/versatility - not like how Keshav, Aishwarya, Antra, Arunita were - i feel like those kids were given more variety of songs to show case their versatility.

Another thing I noticed is when judges/maha guru gave comments - they all said good things but I don't feel like they connected with him to the point where they would motivate/critique his songs to help him grow as a singer. For example there was an episode a few weeks ago where Keshav sang well but he had no energy/expression and Shaan called him out on it and took it as a coaching opportunity to say - u can sing a song and hit the notes but unless u put feelings or energy it sounds flat. I don't recall any such instance with Ridham - obviously they don't think he's perfect coz if he was he would have gotten more "karak kakram kakris".

I really feel for Ridham - for those of you who may not know - he was also apart of Voice of Punjab's chota champ competition where also he made it to top 5 but then did not make it to top 3. I was hoping he'd at least place in top 3 (he is very much deserving of it) on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs.

I don't feel THAT bad for Arunita becoz she actually won the Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa li'l champ 2013/2014. So i'm not terribly sad that she didn't win 1rst place but I am surprised that both the top 2 talented kids Arunita and Ridham didn't place in top 3.

In the 3 that did make it to the top - Aishwariya, Keshav and Gagan - i think Aishwarya should have one the title between those 3, then Keshav then Gagan.

I'm inclinded to think that the whole results were fixed - I don't have a good motive for them to place the kids in this order other than political reasons.

Arunita and Aishwarya are both from bengal - Shaan, Monali are both bengali and Alka is from Calcutta originally - alot of past season winners were girls from Bengal - Anamika Choudhury, SAncheyeta, Sreya etc AND Arunita already won the regional title - so Arunita got skipped.

RIdham - somehow didn't seem to connect or create a soft spot with the judges - side note I actually don't like how they made fun of his english - kid wants to learn - but they'd make him speak in broken english and laugh - that's mean.

Keshav somehow was Alka's favorite - or I should say she saw talent in him and wanted him to hone in on it - being Bihari Zee got more views/ TRP from Bihar?

Gagan winning - going by my theory - being south indian - it could have been a political strategy to get more viewership from the south?
