Elimination Process?

Hi Guys,
I'm a little confused on how elimination is working on the show - there are contestants that get named "highest voted" thus don't sing - does that mean they are safe from elimination also?
Then there are kids that get to sit on the flying sofa and sometimes they sing on the next episode and sometimes don't? how does this all work?

I had posted my frustration on this in another topic.. And all of us have the same confusion..

The makers themselves are confused and working it out based on how much drama they can fit in and how much they can postpone eliminations to keep up with the trps.. So it is all a game of politics.. We ourselves do not know what is the right process because they are not doing it right anyway!!

So all I can say is that vote for your favorite and hope that they stay in the competition!!
