Ok well I couldnt edit this post so I had to quote and just share a couple more opinions of mine after readinf other peopls post.

It is true that this layout doesnt have the same warmth the old layout had. This maybe though simply due to the reason that everyone was so attached to the old layout and used to it? As a web designer my self I am willing to give the new layout a chance and hopefully soon when everyone gradually gets used to it, this layout too will generate the same warmth.

As for the overall layout compared to the first preview of it posted I find it is slightly better, although it is slightly confusing. For example I feel the adverts on the side of the front page should be below the top celebs. Also the side column maybe should be made sligtly smaller. These issues can be gotten used to however.

The quote thing is also a bit confusing - I agree with IBserenity there, it looks like one post. Please bring the old quote system back where a box is placed around the quoted text.

Overall, I appreciate the hard work put into making IF a better place, and think the layout is a change for the better just a few bits here and there, which can always improve over time, or even as I have said before gotten used to by the members.

I'm glad to here, it'll be somewhat like the older layout in a day or two, or whenever all the fix-ups are done.. after that, we can see wheter what we like or not, completely! :)

i know it will be fixed...i believe you ...but this won't bring back the feeling we got when we logged in on the old IF....when i logged in i felt i was in a strange place and whenever i logged in the old IF i felt at home and comfortable....we won't get that feeling back with this IF and that hurts me cause the old IF was like my home 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 i respect you a lot cause you made a amazing forum like IF but by changing it i don't know what to say 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
