My Lakshmi bai and your Matangini,
Had same self-determination and same sacrifice.

Your Kanjibharam, my Baluchari
My Ikkat and your Jamdani,
Have same threads and same beauty.

Your temple and my mosque
My church and your monastery
Have same prayers for God!!!

We are same in history and same in geography.
We are not strangers, we are neighbours.
We see each other's face in the same mirror.
We are same in love and same in humanity
We are the translations of each other's heart!!!!

We have same Bapuji and same Netaji,
We have same Rabindranath and same Tulsidas.

Who says we are poor?
We, the people of India are progressing towards a new horizon.
We are not wasting our time; we are working for our motherland.
We have to show the world that
India has not lost her old glory.
India is still the queen of all countries.
