BTW.. even if that's not the case we will start with the remainder first and from there on we will eliminate 3 each round.

Well we may reduce the 15 mins to 5 - 10 mins also as idea is to finish the elimination in 3-6 hours.

3 players every 15 mins means 12 players every hour. We need to eliminate 150 players, since 3 will be winners. That comes to 12.5 hours that is 12 hours and 30 minutes.
