It looks distorted and lengthy as we are used to old look. It is not catchy or attractive.

I have a suggestion.
Can you please make it so that I can be logged in to multiple devices at once?

I keep myself logged in on my laptop but find it a pain if I travel and take my iPad with me instead because I have to log in there, and when I get back, I have to log in to my laptop again.
And I'm not the best at remembering my password.

Okay, I tried this on a

Lumia Icon phone (Windows Phone 8.1)
Ellipsis 7 tablet (Android 4.2.2)

The banner image showed the right proportion on my Windows Phone, but not on the Android tablet. On the latter, it showed a widescreen, but the images were clearly laterally stretched. I saw the same thing in my PC (note however that I don't use Windows on that) I don't use either however normally for this site, since a lot of typing is involved: usually, it's just the laptop, and I view this site under Chromium (on PC-BSD)

I suggest that you have one setting for the desktop/laptop, and another tablets/for mobiles. There are a lot of things you can do on the former that makes it a pain on the latter. For instance, on tablets/mobiles, disable signatures, regardless of whether people are using them or not: when one is on the road, it just smokes up the data caps if one ain't near a hotspot. Also, down the road, you could have a specialized India-Forums app for Android for starters, and maybe iOS & Windows Phone later.

If you want screenshots, is it possible to enable people to attach files (within a given size) rather than having to upload it to imgur or some other hosting site? This also gets around the problem we had w/ urlremoved when they massacred all their images.

I'll second this. I don't have problems remembering my password, but there are times when I may want to log into the tablet, but it doesn't mean that my work on the laptop won't resume. So if I can be logged into 2 devices, that would be good
