heck everyone does stuff like that (unless they're always really level-headed)

People who are emotional, sensitive and sentimental will always be involved in something they like more than others and thats how I see it.. I can totally understand your embarrassment but that shouldn't be a reason for you to stop creating threads and expressing what you feel like (as far as its within the norms of the forum!) 😃 chin up mate!

and if YOU think this thread is nonsense, i request you to peep into a few other forums and see what goes on there... you'll be blown away by how tame this forum is 😆 light-hearted romantic (nonsense - in your words, not mine) is exactly what this eternally-serious show needed anyway...
