So it's d day after d much anticipated ME . And what an epi it was !!!
This is for TEAM RJN ….👏👏👏
The principal theme of d epi - as Lashy so aptly said - is of course - Sanchi's coming to terms with LOVE … the unfolding of d realization , that it is something more than mere 'Dosti' that she feels for her soon-to-be-ex Husband - Indu singh 😉 Her confusion , her bewilderment , n d gradual coming to terms with d new status of her feelings for Indu … loved d way all of it was handled n paced …. 👍🏼
But for me , a self-confessed admirer of d character - Indu Singh 😳 , d high-point of d epi is d fact that here , my favourite anti-hero officially completes a cycle of his Individuation 😊 When Indu is confiding to his buddies , we see that he has a complete realization of the extent of his transgressions ….. He understands that in pursuit of his own dream of acquiring Sanchiji's love - he has trampled upon HER dreams and made Her life a living hell ….. In that moment we can feel , that an erstwhile narcissist , who could hardly see anything beyond his own needs n desires , has been transformed into an integrated individual , who understands the true meaning of LOVE …. that it is not about acquisition or possession … but about unconditional giving - without expectation of getting anything back in return !!!
Of course Indu always possessed a 'heart of gold' ...😉 But it was gold ore which needed processing 😆 As Indu now decides to let go of his LUBE …. unburdening her of an imposed Rishta …. setting her free so that she can pursue her dreams n realize her destiny , we see that - the spoilt-brat-mama's-boy - has mature into 24-carat Manhood ⭐️….
Indu has come a full circle …. Today when I saw him standing besides Sanchi , clad in a yellow kurta - applauding her in her moment of glory …. my mind went back to another time …. when , with a similar yellow kurta on , he was escorting Sanchiji-Mathur up d steps of d dais , where she was to receive d best-student award ... The acts that he used to perpetrate in those days …. d thoughts that drove him then - as he stole sly glances at Sji , were so different in intent n quality , from those that guides him now
After that Push he gave Sanchi on that fateful day , when he abducted n forcibly wedded her , we had wondered how he would ever redeem himself in Sanchi's eyes …. But lo-and-behold !!! Today , as he walks out of Mathur-Niwas - suitcase in hand - it is Sanchi who is imploring him to stay back !!!
