The mystic pillar Have you noticed that since yesterday's episode, Indu and Sanchi have been rotating around a pillar in that hideout - must have some strange powers seeing how they're coming up with good suppositions wrt the murder case...đ
Btw, AD looked very fresh in that scene today (though in twitter he's been tweeting that he's not been having much sleep lately due to night shifts!)
A heartbroken father
Tarachand breaking down on seeing Sanchi's photo was a very emotionally heart-wrenching scene... I liked his words and having never seen Tarachand cry made it all the more touching... đ
A supportive husband
Loved how Indu dealt with Sanchi's emotional dilemmas today - he wasn't too lovey dovey or too distant...he gave her her space... and then spoke his heart out...
he doesn't take physical advantage of her broken state (just because she rested her head against his chest the other day) he just held her shoulder for a second and then possibly wiped a drying tearđł
A spiteful wife
Loved how Radha snubbed Sadanand once their Mathur-taunting-duty was over đ
University politics
Made total sense that Janardhan had decided to oust Sanchi from the presidential seat and that Indu, Mehek & Abhi had been rusticated...see some logic still prevails here..
Indu Singh
Loved how Indu came skidding into the hall and kneeled right next to Sanchi to tell her about the bank plan - so cute & agile!đł
Now to the best scene of the episode - THE INSA-IN-DISGUISE SCENE
LOVED INDU'S GETUP - FULL STOP! Initially, I was sceptical of him carrying an old traditional lucknowy muslim man's getup - but wow does AD know what he's doing! Many-a-serial's stars try to pull get ups like these but fail miserably - AD did it full justice! Did you notice his limp...did you notice the way he spoke with the paan in his mouth (Was markedly different to the usual Indu slur)...and what to say of his Urdu too! Mashallah! But what surprised me was Sanchi looked equally adorable...with her nose ring and white hair not looking out of place at all!đł
What was not to like in this part -
- She trips on her sandals/burkha and he catches her hand so matter-of-factlyđł
- Indu reciting their plan to Sanchi (it used to be the other way around not long ago!)
- And how cute could Indu get - he got his begum a pink rimmed set of spectacles! Bless them
'Tum to pehchaanoge? Yaa fir tum bhi nahin pehchaanoge hamein?' she asks him'Aisaa kaise ho sakat hai ki hum hi na pehchaane aapko!'
He mildly blushed while saying so, but what was surprising was that she didn't hide her abashment! Did you notice that it was the first time Sanchi openly blushed when he paid her a compliment and didn't feel bad/irked about it?
- How pragmatically he announced that they both would look exactly like this when they grew old...lol...and once again his begum blushes here...
- However, he was also so composed about the whole issue when he let her know about their divorce - not letting his disappointment show through at all...needless to say, who wouldn't be delighted to see Sanchi disappointed when the 'D' word cropped up! Indu all she needed was space...now that you've given it to her...look how she's bowled over by you!
[And Rash when I read about your 'Oh Babua' I didn't understand... but now I understood that its the mischief-tune for Indu Singh! LOL]
REST OF THE EPISODE
And as for the rest of the episode, yes I do agree that it had some non-INSA scenes...but come to think about it...
How would it make sense if they didn't show Tarachand breaking down on seeing Sanchi's photo in the paper? Sada/Radha are vile people - they'd definitely taunt the Mathur's when Sanchi's photo came in the paper (though thankfully this scene wasn't too long)
How would it make sense if they didn't even show a few seconds of students gossiping about their own president involved in a murder case?
How would it make sense if the Goswami board didn't even confront Janardhan after a student-murder has taken place?
Shukla speaking to Prabal was also an important scene as was his re-entry into college & confrontation with Janardhan!
(thankfully today, Sobha and Roop weren't there today!)
All the scenes above lasted a minute or so...but all were necessary for the track to move forward... so please girls lets accept that with 2 sweet INSA scenes...these things have to be shown in between too...đł
My general thoughts on the murder mystery track
The entry of Rubina - her association with Prabal - possibly him killing her to get back at INSA (and when their relationship went sour) - additionally, her relationship with Sadanand...
If the CVs have managed this clever inter-twisting between so many characters I must give it to them for coming up with such a ploy - Only wish they inserted tender moments between INSA and a positive development in their relationship more steadily...
If every episode had a good balance between murder mystery and light moments/romance, it'd be amazing... so far some episodes are good.. and some boring! But the track itself is good...đł
Also, Sanchi is growing more tender towards Indu slowly... (evident from the upcoming video segment!) ever since the Rubina fiasco, her behaviour with Indu has improved tremendously... So hope the CVs pace it well - INSA romance + murder... đ
Btw, pssst CVs, please let this be the last kidnapping track in RJN ...đ
