What is she supposed to do, he has the money and the influence, to live out of bounds of the justice system.

Lots of people were sorry for him, since she had him arrested, but he did not stay in jail. From the jail the mama was conducting business, which if you listen to the daily news seems to be a common practice in India.
Early in the story when ST had kidnaped her dad and she had Sushil put into jail, Indu Singh had him released in no time. This time when he himself went to jail, he got out in no time too. He did not even have to use his own influence. A small bribe to the court clerk and the wrong letter was produced in court and he got out free. So you actually expect that using the system will help her case...

The social message that the producers are providing is that even "God won't help those that do not help themselves". She is a dedicated student trying to live her own life, and here comes a goon who turns her life up side down and sideways. Yes he is a goon with a few redeeming qualities, he has not physically harmed her, although the mental torture is enough to file a restraining order on him. He is obsessed with her, she is one thing that has been unreachable for him, so he does what he is used to doing - grabs her. But she showed him for what he is, so he does what he is used to doing - takes revenge on her, expecting her to learn a lesson and go hide somewhere. But Sanchi being the new age Jhansi ki Rani, is giving him the run for the money... she knows he won't sit still and take it, she will face the music, she has her wits and the courage. He on the other hand does not seem to know she WON"T sit still and take it, he thinks he can break her, shut her up, demean her, pretty much do anything he chooses and screams "FOUL" whenever he is at the receiving end. Why does he not back down, why should she, let him go marry Roop or someone all, who is willing and able? No he decided he wants Sanchi and she has no say in the matter! Anything she does provokes him, because the brat that he is, he has never heard, let alone accept "NO" for an answer!

Love AD he is a wonderful actor, he portrays Indu Singh very well. It is very easy to be a hero, it is difficult to be an anti-hero and still have a fan following!

Wasn't referring to your other points dear...but in India also marital rape is a crime, just like domestic abuse is... and the perpetrator can be jailed (with proper proceedings and proof).. its a different issue that in a male chauvinistic society like India, only a small percentage ever gets reported

Thank you @lashy for correcting this, I almost burst a blood vessel reading @ramya3697's post. We all want a love story, I do too, but under the right circumstances!

No need to boil blood for a fictional show 😳 Only keep this in mind, it had been very useful to me

No dear i was just saying the law in India...in India marital rape isn't considered as a crime..and there is no section for this..(as my father is a lawyer..i know about it to some extent..that's why i wrote it here). I have said that word...but it doesn't mean that i'll be on indu's side even if he had really done it to sanchi...i would hate indu if he has done so...but here the case is not real...its all fake...so i hv mentioned about it

No offense to any of ur opinions...just my view
