Since there have already been many topics on the 'content' of yesterday's episode, I thought about starting a discussion on the performances!

Although, Anirudh and Pooja, both do ample justice to their respective roles, they really raised the bar high with yesterday's episode!
Right from Sanchi's realization that she would be in trouble after the courtcase to her being literally hoisted by Indu and taken to the venue where the forced marriage would take place were portrayed beautifully by the actress! Her expression's ranged from anxiousness and trepidation to cold fear and then horror as she saw what was happening to her! A brilliant and heartfelt performance!
Coming to Anirudh, this guy really took the cake with yesterday's episode! He looked completely maniacal in his anger and combined with his bitter sarcasm towards the girl whom he had once loved to treating her as nothing more than an object of his hatred...the guy rocked the show like nothing before!
A bravo performance by both the actors and one that really lifted the show a notch above!šŸ‘
Coming to the episode itself, it was rather gut-wrenching to watch Sanchi and Tarachand being subjected to such ruthlessness by Indu...all the anger and irritation I had against Sanchi's character seemed to vanish yesterday...especially when I saw her falling on her feet and begging Indu to let her father live and that she will marry him...😭 A word for the dialouge writer and director for providing such emotion and pathos to the entire episode! It was dramatic without being melodramatic...emotional without being over-the-top!
But one thing that I liked about Indu yesteray was the line he said to Sanchi, 'I never insulted your parents...' which is quite true...Sanchi and her mother, whatever be the case, were pretty disrespectful to Malti Devi, but Indu, despite his apparent lack of education and culture, was always polite to Tarachand and Veena.
Indu truly proved that revenge is a dish best served cold! A scary episode indeed, yet immensely watchable because of the first-rate performances and the dramatic manner in which the story moved forward!
Now What?
From SBS, we know that Sanchi will come back home and refuse to accept the marriage. What we don't know is whether Indu will abandon her or let her go free for sometime, so that her humiliation and heart-break increases manifold? From what I can make out, Indu will get her back with him...forcibly perhaps to live with him. He had vowed to himself that he will make her life a living hell...and what happened yesterday was just a beginning...šŸ˜’

I agree Poppy, the performances were stellar by both actors. I must say in scenes like these, it is important for give and take on the actors. Aniruddh and Pooja excel at it. They compliment each other beautifully which in turn gets us the best performances. Hats off to the both of them!

I couldnt agree more! AD once again blew me away with his performance in every scene. Everytime I think I know what to expect, he just goes to the next level. It was pretty effortless for him! Today I was at times scared of Indu Singh, at times laughing at his prepostrous assumptions, spellbound at others - mostly very glad to be sitting on my couch - not being Saanchi Mathur - even though she is not real.

After all this, he just HAD to have his madap and a muhurat, band baaja and a shaadi ka joda! So what he had to kidnap the bride, bring her kicking and screaming, and blackmail with her father at gun point?? LOL!!
Have to give it to his friends too. They were just as excited third time around for a wedding that was touch and go twice before!

Pooja Sharma has improved a lot from the initial episodes of the show. Her expression of fear and disgust are now just that instead of a constipated look. I love her wedding attire - the other day and today in the light as well. One feedback would be she needs to work on her screaming voice so the dialog is clear.

Once again I loved the dialogs for today. Dhaasoo! I mean Chauchak!!

Indu Singh somehow reminded me of Joker from the Batman series!šŸ˜† Hysterical yet spinechilling and creepy...the way he told the Band-wallah to play the music and then dragging away the reluctant bride to the decorated mandap!

It can't have been an easy scene to do...because it showed Indu Singh as such a diabolical creature...someone who is right on the edge of his sanity yet his actions are perfectly calcuated and timed!
Amazing work done by Anirudh!!!

AD-PS Amazing performance...
by watching indu in this avatar... it reminded me once he said "jab mujhe ghussa aata hai mujhe khud ki shakal se darr lagne lagta hai"
well proved right this time... I Personally speaking was about to cry by watching SANCHI'S plight.. they were just amazing..
INDU ne daraa dia tha aur sanchi ne almost rula dia tha...
U BOTH ROCK...

a maniacal psycho ... a heartbroken lover ... a sarcastic brute... a caring human... all of these emotions are each difficult to portray by themselves alone...Aniruddh Dave's face can transform to bring out the range of all of the above expressions within a matter of seconds... and that I have always felt is the hallmark of an excellent actor
another point is that his dialogues are generally very crisp and clear.. i have no problem understanding his lines... he is par excellence... (only thing i currently don't like about him is his hair.. i feel like personally making a trip to the sets... taking along a vidal sasoon maestro with me...and giving him a nice cool clean cut šŸ˜† who said that the UP gundas don't have to have good haircuts...)

As for Pooja, she has been quite good, though not as good as AD (maybe just because AD can overshadow anyone and its not her fault itself) however, yesterday's episode was really her best... ANYONE would feel sorry for her.. and her expressions looked like she really was the girl going through everything... not a moment did she lack in her performance.. hats off to you girl 😊 ...from the SBS clipping it looks like even today, her performance is going to be equally noteworthy!

Just to add ... the way indu singh was laughing was really scary ... I dont know about saachi but i was really scared ...
Anirudh dave is a very good actor and nobody can play a role of Indu singh better than him.once again he has proved it.
If Indu singh is gone ...this show will also gooo.
Saachi is improving with each episode and in mandap she was looking like dead girl walking...
