Kreetika Sharma to enter Roop

Actress Kreetika Sharma who was last seen in a con man role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has bagged her next meaty role!!

She will be joining the cast of Colors' popular show, Roop Mard Ka Naya Swaroop (Rashmi Sharma Productions).

Yes, you heard it right!!

IWMBuzz.com earlier reported about popular face Donal Bisht playing the lead post the leap in the show.

We now have information about Kreetika being roped in to play Kinjal, the youngest sister of Roop. Earlier, the role was played by Tasheen Shah.

As per sources, "The story will take a major turn before the leap when Shamsher (Yash Tonk) will take the stern decision of keeping his son away from the ladies of the house.

Roop (Affan Khan) will be sent to a military boarding school in order to get tough in mind, body and soul. At this juncture, the leap will take place.

Post the leap, it will be shown that Himani (Niki Sharma) and Jigna (Ananya Agarwal) will be married. So it will be only Kinjal residing in the house with her mother Kamla (Mitali Nag).

Kinjal's character will be shown as a girl who will not fear to raise her voice. She will be the one who will narrate the happenings in their family to her brother Roop (Shashank Vyas) once he will be back home. Also, Roop and Kinjal will share a close friend bond.

We reached out to the channel spokesperson, but did not get through for a comment.

As for Kreetika, this will be her third outing with Colors, after the shows Jai Shri Krishna and Thapki Pyar Ki.
