It's an old article. Many portals have suggested this. It's clear that roop will not be a police officer post leap. He will be against his father and will support the girl whom he marries against the will of his father. The love triangle thing is surely gonna be between Roop palak and nd ishika. Who will end up with roop at the end is a mystery. Ranveer will be the parallel lead in the show, so any of the girls can end up with him as well. It depends upon CVs whom they pair up in the end depending upon the response they get initially. If it's predecided that SV will romance Donal in the show (cos many articles are titled in this way)then there are no chances of further spectaculations about this.

I think for Roop, he does need a fresh pairing (not his childhood friend) outlook in life and other things. With Palak there is nothing much to offer in that sense
