Anuj Saxena: Jack of all trades, master of none?

L ooks like, Anuj Saxena believes in being the jack of all trades! Almost every 15 days, there is news about the actor getting his finger into some pie or the other. From being a professional doctor to heading a pharmaceutical company to producing serials and films (Maverick Productions) to getting into the hotel business, Saxena has now got into animation. He has a part stake in Sankranti Productions which is best known for giving the new generation of cinema lovers a colourful Mughal-E-Azam, as it's they who colour-corrected the Dilip Kumar-Madhubala classic. The actor is also the juror for the category of Best Performance by an Actor for the Final Round of Judging at the 2006 International Emmy Awards to be held next month in New York. And if that all that was enough then Saxena is headed to Cannes to attend MIPCOM Palais des Festivals starting on October 9. MIPCOM is the global content bazaar where "we are looking at buy ing content, or getting into co-production deals with small independent production houses overseas, even feature films," says Saxena. Now, we only hope the actor has not bitten more than he can chew!
