Why is Gourav opting out of Rishton Ki Dorr?
Actor Gourav Chanana is moving out of Rishton Ki Dorr. The green-eyed actor — best-remembered for his double role in Star One's Yehi To Hai Woh — was gaining much popularity as the casanova Rahul Raichand in Rishton..., so his move has taken many by surprise. When asked about it, Gourav says, "The serial's creative team breathed life into my character and made him come alive, but then the storyline changed. We were moving away from the original Spanish story, and the tracks were being changed to make my role marginal. So, we decided to part ways mutually." So, is there more to it than meets the eye? Only Gourav can tell. Or maybe the serial makers.
