USA 7/8-12/02. A cemetery. Suhas tells his sister that her mother is in heaven with their father who died 5 years before. He swears he will never leave them. Suhas refuses to let the family separate the children. He is 20 years old and will take care of his three sisters: Shubhangi - his right hand, la generala; Tejaswani, Doa Others ask if he would do it again, give up his dreams, yes. Tejaswani gets her diploma and a beca. Her brother and sisters applaud. She thanks Suhas. Shubhangi isn't there; she's working, tells Kunal she is ashamed, doesn't know how to tell them what is happening. Tejaswani says that Noyonika is the luckiest woman in the world because she is married to the best man. At that moment, she enters an office and takes off her ring. Suhas calls her. Noyonika gives chocolate to her friend Elsa, Noyonika is the representative of a construction company, tells her friend that Rahul es lo ms macho. Ingeniero Rahul Ortega calls his socio Solis about the construction.
In the hospital, Tejaswani helps a man and his pregnant wife. Rahul tells Tara the only thing she talks about is marriage; it is getting boring. They and his associates drink to the successful project. Rahul's associate seems to have some in mind a way to get rid of him. Tejaswani helps the doctor successfully deliver a baby girl. Tejaswani asks Magaly and Rubi when somebody is going to do something about the construction. Beatriz tells her husband on the bus that she is ashamed to confront Suhas. Magaly and Rubi tell Elvira that Tejaswani went to the construction site which is polluting everything. Suhas and Noyonika kiss passionately. Then she goes to the bathroom to take her birth control pill: she must avoid at all costs getting pregnant. Elvira tells the director that Tejaswani is not at her station. Tejaswani introduces herself as a nurse who wants to talk to whoever is in charge. Rahul sees her steps in the cement and asks Imran who she is. Imran tells Tejaswani that Ingeniero Ortega is the person she has to talk to. He tells her she has to wear a helmet. She accuses him of being responsible for a dangerous birth because of the pollution of the air and water. The director of the clinic promised to help Rahul's associate re the pollution. Rahul denies that there is a problem. Tejaswani tells him she is prepared to go before the cameras tomorrow and make a public denunciation. Suhas tells Noyonika he hopes it is today that she becomes pregnant. Tejaswani returns to the hospital dirty and with shoes covered in cement. Rahul is furious because of the "damage"she did to the cement. Tejaswani tells Rubi what happened at the site. Elvira tells Tejaswani the director is waiting for her. Imran tells Rahul that Solis gave the order. The director tells Tejaswani that she is not to leave her station for any reason, she did and he must suspend her for 3 days. She tells him she left for the clinic, went to the construction. The director Seta tells her that the problem is the sad state of the clinic itself. She says no. He has no complaint about her work but doesn't want her interfering in things that don't involve her. Las escombras y aguas negros.
Rahul questions his associate. He tells him that he is working with the city to modernize the clinic. He tells Rahul that the clinic needs to modernize, that their work is a form of forcing the city to do what it must. He believes him. Suhas asks Tejaswani why she is home earlier. He is making dinner. Solis calls the Director who says he has taken care of the matter. Rahul greets Javier in the gym. Shubhangi asks her husband how they can afford a taxi, looks after her twins. Tejaswani goes swimming and recalls the words of the director. Just then Rahul appears at the pool.
7/9/02. The two race and Rahul, unknown to Tejaswani, stops partway so they end up together. Kunal and Shubhangi arrive at Suhas's home with the twins. He has lost his job and they have been evicted. Beatriz visits Roberto in the pizzeria. He works for his father Don Giovanni. When he asks her to be his novia, she accepts although she doesn't seem to be very enthusiastic. Shubhangi tells her brother they aren't there for just a visit; they need a place to stay. He tells her this is their home and assumes that Noyonika will accept the situation. Beatriz is critical of Kunal because he didn't ask for help from his parents (he says they are old and just coping) or from his married sister (who is, apparently, well off). Noyonika reminds Suhas that, according to him, money is already tight. They can't do anything, go anywhere because of the mortgage. Suhas tells Noyonika that she can't be ruled by her experience as an abandoned child; family matters, and they support each other. Rahul, outside the gym, sees ___ pick up Tejaswani. Noyonika thinks of Rahul; Suhas would be perfect if he had money but he doesn't. Suhas tells Kunal he is a dreamer and argues about his belief that women shouldn't work but should stay home and care for house and children. Tejaswani asks Dr. Raj to help her with the clinic and the construction site. Noyonika asks _____ to read the cards for her, learns she has one chance with a man who represents money and power. Rahul calls his novia Tara, the daughter of his boss/associate. Rahul talks with his friend Javier, tells him that Tara speaks 4 languages, studied in Spain. Javier tells him he doesn't sound like a man in love. Tejaswani decides to arrange a demonstration against the construction site. Noyonika goes into Rahul's office and flirts outrageously; they end up kissing. Serpa watches the demonstration, asks what is going on, pretends to be in accord with Tejaswani. Elsa lunches with Noyonika, doesn't know she is married and warns her that Rahul is a serious man who won't leave his novia. Rahul insists that Tejaswani talk to him and suggests that somebody in the clinic wants to close it. She doesn't believe him and he gives her a bill for the damage she did to the wet cement. Solis visits Serpa and tells him he had better do something. So she, of course, tells Serpa. He tries to put her and Dr. Raj off the scent by saying they are planning to re-open a laboratory. Tejaswani and Dr. Raj see him when he leaves but don't recognize him. Rahul encounters him on his way to the clinic but doesn't learn the name of his contace. Suhas tells Rosa he doesn't understand why his sisters are hiding things from him: Shubhangi's economic situation, Tejaswani's temporary suspension. She tells him it is because they look on him as a father.
7/11/02. Tara's mother tells her to make up with Rahul. Tejaswani gives flowers to Shubhangi. Suhas see Batriz and Roberto and ____ outside the school; they tell him the lab was suspended. Kunal makes a scene in the office where he is looking for work. Tara asks Imran where Rahul is. He is with Noyonika. She takes him to a hotel, ignoring messages from Suhas, and they have sex. . Shubhangi tells Tejaswani she doesn't trust Noyonika, is sure she will hurt him. Kunal tries to buy diapers without enough money. Suhas runs into him and buys them. They talk: Suhas would love to have children, tells Kunal he fell in love with Noyonika the first day she came to work for him as a secretary. Tara looks for Rahul everywhere and when he finally appears, she confesses that what she wants in life is to be a homemaker, she knows that is boring but that is what she wants with him. Rahul talks to his mother then asks Tara to set a wedding date
Kunal plays with his puppet and Shubhangi assures him that she has faith in his talent. They kiss. Suhas calls a family meeting and gives a check to Kunal for his family's need which infuriates Noyonika. Shubhangi refuses to accept it at first but finally does. Suhas tells Noyonika and Shubhangi they must resolve their differences. He tells Noyonika it is time she assumed her responsibilities as his wife. She is angry. Noyonika she goes to the office and tells Rahul's secretary Elsa about lunch with Rahul and afterwards. Tara's mother Sofia doesn't understand her ahst to marry. Tara is determined. She is also worried about Anibal, Tara's brother, who doesn't like Rahul. After she finds the picture of a woman in Rahul's wallet, which he left behind, she needs to find out who the woman he is. Tara goes to the office, tells Elsa she will wait for Rahul in his office, asks Elsa who put the present on the desk. Elsa hides Noyonika in the xerox room. Rahul tells his friend he needs to get married and the wedding will be in 3 months. Imran tells him that the lawyer, has gone to collect the debt from the nurse for the damage done to the site. Rahul can't believe it; he said it in a moment of anger. Then, walking through the site, he falls and gets a nasty cut. Meanwhile, lawyer presnts the bill to Tejaswani in the hospital, tells her to pay or he will file charges. Then Rahul arrives and isn't too happy to have Tejaswani attend him; she assures him that for the moment he is a patient and she is a professional. The cut needs stitches so she calls in a doctor. Galindez talks to Serpa about the municipality and their plans for the site. Serpa tells him to leave it to him. Then word comes to the clinic of major accident.

USA 7/15-19/02. Isabel tells Tara not to worry about the photo; she is going to marry Rahul in three months. The photo could be of a cousin or an old girlfriend. Tara says she is afraid because she's never been sure that he loves her. Elsa tells Noyonika that Rahul is going to marry Tara in 3 weeks. Isabel tells her she still has hope of winning her brother Anibal. Mimi takes Beatriz to the cemetery to pray to the saint who helps with studies, not knowing that her parents were buried there. Rahul drives Tejaswani, a mother and a patient who needs special treatment to another hospital, then pays for the treatment. He offers to drive Tejaswani back to the clinic and she accepts. In the car, he tells her she seems different from the woman who led a demonstration. He asks if they can be friends and, slowly, she shakes his hand. He asks her to pretend that they met for the first time today; she tells him life isn't like a movie; learned when she was a child, when her father died and then her mother, that you can't go back. Later, she learned that every day is important. When he leaves her at the clinic, he tells her he will remember that. Suhas sees a doctor to discuss an examination re infertility. He says he would like to make sure the problem isn't his before submitting his wife to an examination. The doctor tells him he is fine, that most infertility cases are due to the woman, that the causes are often easy to handle. Sofia argues with her husband when he comes home. He tells her not to make their daughter bitter. Suhas arrives home and apologizes to Noyonika, but she doesn't accept it. What she wants doesn't matter. Everything else comes first: the mortgage, her sisters. He agrees to put some money into her account. Then he tells her about his visit to the doctor. Rahul tells Imran not to do anything against the clinic without telling him. Back in his office, Rahul finds the present and asks Elsa who it is from. She tells him it was Noyonika.
Noyonika puts off Suhas when he starts to talk about a child. When he asks her why she always goes to the bathroom before they make love, she becomes shy, says it is for hygiene, to be her best, etc. Rahul offers to drive Tejaswani to the University and when his car stops, she assumes he did it on purpose. She sets off on foot and he follows. Tara and her friend arrive at her house to find her mother taking pills.
7/17/02. Noyonika tells Elsa she is sure she can win Rahul before the wedding. Tara and her mother look for a wedding dress. Tejaswani and Rahul find a barn and wait. He is sure somebody will come by soon. They find a waterfall. Tejaswani says it is a dream. He touches her, then throws water at her to prove it isn't a dream. They start a waterfight, laugh together. He kisses her. She returns the kiss then pulls away. Tara calls him because he hasn't turned up at the meeting. Tejaswani wonders why he didn't use the phone to call for help. Bebe tells her friend she has to find a job. He tells her he wasn't trying to take advantage of her. Just then, a car drives back and Rahul asks him for gas. Noyonika buys something more expensive than she can afford. Suhas asks her what she bought. She tells him she just looked. Beatriz interviews with Sr. Zurita who asks her if she is 18. She lies but he says he will give her a chance to prove herself, provided she has the permission of her representative. Her only reference is her friend Mimi; her representative won't return for a month. He says that is ok, it's the length of the trial employmen. He tells Adriana to show Beatriz her duties. She sees Francisco working there, the "malandro" she was told about. Rahul leaves Tejaswani outside of her home where Kunal greets her. Tejaswani lies about where she was. Elsa calls Noyonika. Rahul goes to his office and thinks of the clinic and Tejaswani; Dr. Galindez wants to see him. Jaime looks for the lab results. His assistant tells him he is under investigation, accept the job in the city. He flashes back to his wife telling him they are expecting a child.
7/18/02. Rahul tells ? to leave Tejaswani alone; he has cancelled the charge. Tejaswani thinks about Rahul. Sylvia suspects that she is in love. Sylvia asks Tejaswani what happened with the boy. She says nothing. Suhas wants to meet Noyonika's friend or wait for her, but she just leaves the car. Both Tejaswani and Rahul recall the waterfall and water fight and kiss. Noyonika visits Rahul in his office.She surprises him from behind and kisses him. Tejaswani tries to study anatomy. Suhas waits for Noyonika, decides to go inside.She gives him the present she bought with Suhas's money, an expensive watch. He tells her he can't accept it. Rubi asks Tejaswani why she always insists on being alone. Tejaswani tells Rubi that Eloisa's son is the engineer. Noyonika tells him she will save the watch until he changes his mind, tells her he has much work to do. She leaves and finds Suhas outside. Suhas asks the secretary who Noyonika's friend is and introduces himself as her husband, invites her for coffee, she thanks him but can't because her boss is in his office. Rahul tells Elsa to advise him before somebody enters his office; she says she was in the bathroom. Rubi tells Tejaswani she has never seen her with a novio, why? Tejaswani tells her she was in love once, her first and only novio, thought of nothing but him but he left her for her best friend. She swore never to cry or be hurt again by a man. Beatriz watches Francisco in the store. Imran apologizes for talking with? K K Dhanraj and Dr. Galindez but he can't afford to lose his job. Tejaswani confesses to Rubi that deep inside she would like to fall in love. But she is afraid of losing herself in somebody else. Elsa returns Rahul's wallet and he sees Noyonika's picture, realizes that Tara must have seen it. Suhas and Noyonika argue; she accuses him of treating her like a child. She gets out of the moving car and falls in front of another. But she is ok, tells him to leave her in peace. Tara wakes he mother, tells her that her father has agreed to having the party in the garden. Her mother is convinced that Rahul sent her son Anibal to the jungle; Tara says it was her father's idea. Suhas follows Noyonika on foot. Suhas tells Noyonika that they need help. Noyonika tells him they live in a jungle and she can defend herself, spent her childhood walking these streets, dirty, hungry, does he know how many people passed her and didn't see her, didn't realize she was hungry. He hugs her. Rahul visits Tara. Her mother tells Rahul that Tara has been overprotected all her life, is credulous, ingenuos and she is afraid that Rahul is not the right man for her. Rahul goes to Tara's bedroom. Rahul shows Tara the picture.
Noyonika has Elsa call Rahul. Rahul tells Elsa he doesn't want to see that woman again. Noyonika tells Elsa she will be back. Shubhangi and Noyonika argue about money again. Suhas insists on seeing Noyonika's credit card bill and is shocked at all that she has spent, demands to know on what. But, again, Noyonika acts as if he is in the wrong. Shubhangi tells her husband he has to get a job and pay back her brother. Noyonika hides in the bathroom. Suhas talks through the door, tells her he understands her history, but he loves her and is never going to abandon her. By habit she reaches for the contraceptive cream, then realizes it isn't necessary because she is already pregnant. Rather than talk with Suhas, she kisses him and takes him to bed. Rahul convinces Tejaswani to have dinner with him in a Japanese restaurant. He explains that he acted like a brute at the construction site to protect her from him. He hasn't been able to forget their kiss.
7/24/02. K K Dhanraj recalls his meeting with Noyonika. Mimi's parents take Beba home. At their Japanese dinner, Rahul and Tejaswani talk and eat. He tells her he is not sure of anything except of a need to see her. On the bus home, he holds her hand. At the house, she gives him several opportunities to kiss her (I'm going in, I'm opening the door, etc., etc.) but he doesn't kiss her. Bebe tells Suhas she can't be what he wants, nothing in school makes sense. K K Dhanraj tells Isabel that Anibal is a fool to have let her get away. Suhas recalls hearing Angela and Vicente talking. His father Jacinto drank too much; he had to give up a career in medicine to support Angela (who got pregnant before marrying) and the children. Now, Angela was pregant again and worried. That very day Jacinto died. Suhas tells Shubhangi to help Beba with her studies; she has expeience. Bebe tells them she simply isn't as smart as they were. At a family meeting, Suhas reminds Shubhangi what she was like at 14, reminds Tejaswani, too;he tells them he has been through this before and knows how to handle it. Rahul asks his mother how he can tell Tara he doesn't want to marry her. Anibal arrives and tells Tara she shouldn't marry Rahul. Noyonika calls Tara and introduces herself as Rahul's woman.
7/25/02. Tara tells Isabel. Tejaswani puts on makeup for work. One of the nurses steals drugs to sell them. Magaly steals some drugs for her sick grandchild. Elsa tells Rahul that his novia is afraid he has another woman. When Noyonika appears, Elsa returns the present she gave her. Noyonika continues to wait. Rahul makes a proposal to K K Dhanraj and Anibal re some kind of exchange: land for a new clinic. Anibal thinks it is foolish, K K Dhanraj pretends that he will consider it. On leaving, they meet Noyonika who, upon being introduced to Anibal, says he must be K K Dhanraj's brother. One of the doctors discovers the missing drugs. Rahul goes to lunch with Tara, calls off the wedding, tries to apologize. He assures her there is nobody else, he just isn't sure. The police go to the video store and question Francisco about stolen cars. He complains that the store had been the only place where he was free from accusations, until Beba arrived. K K Dhanraj tells Anibal to be careful with the road, keep it away from ?; he wants to avoid problems with shamans, etc. Inspector Carillo opens all the lockers. In Magaly's locker, they find two vials of penicillin. Magaly is fired but Tejaswani isn't convinced; they lost a whole lot of penicillin and only two bottles were in Magaly's locker. The inspector tends to believe Magaly. Serpa calls somebody to warn him that there is a new inspector. Rahul tells his friend Gabriel he isn't getting married.
7/26/02. Magaly tells Tejaswani the best way to help her is to continue working and find out who is the real thief. Tejaswani goes to the pool to see Rahul. They kiss. Shubhangi is disappointed with the job Kunal got sellilng something. Tara tells her family the wedding is off. Later they find her in her room almost in a state of shock. Noyonika tells Suhas her nausea is due to indigestion. Noyonika calls Tara but doesn't give her name and hangs up when K K Dhanraj answers. K K Dhanraj can't believe that Rahul terminated the relationship. Meanwhile, he is taking Tejaswani to a special place: the ocean. The two walk in the sand, hug, kiss. He tells her he has never felt like this before. Rahul's mother tells ? that she should warn her friend that Rahul and Tara will marry in 3 months, that she is the daughter of an important man who is the associate of Rahul, that her son has one failing: a weakness for pretty new faces. Tejaswani tells Rahul she doesn't want to fall in love with him. She tells him she is afraid that he is just playing with her. They kiss again. Francisco's aunt asks him when he is going to pay the rent. Roberto, who warned Beba about Francisco, is the real thief and is determined to get Beba.
USA 7/29/02. Rubi tells Tejaswani that Rahul has been engaged since childhood to Tara Solis, that Rahul's mother told her the wedding will be in 3 months, that the girl is the daughter of his associate.. Tejaswani can't believe it, doesn't understand why he did what he did. Tara's mother is not happy with her daughter's engagement and Anibal can't wait to see Rahul fired. Tara visits Eloisa, Rahul's mother, and tells her that Rahul broke up with her. Anibal tells K K Dhanraj he made a mistake with Rahul. Suhas asks Shubhangi if Tejaswani is becoming interested in the man who drove her home. Rubi follows Tejaswani as she makes a scene at the construction site, in search of Rahul. Suhas tells Shubhangi that Noyonika feels sick; Shubhangi suggests she could be pregnant. K K Dhanraj and his family wait for Rahul, who got the message from his landlady, and he arrives. K K Dhanraj demands an explanation, as does Sofia. Rahul tells them he isn't ready to marry and form a family. Sofia tells him it was he who set the date. K K Dhanraj tells him he treated him as a son. Sofia tells him that his woman called the house and told Tara she wouldn't marry. Tara tells Eloisa about the woman who called her.Noyonika tries to write Rahul a letter, tells Suhas it was to her aunt. Suhas tells her he is going to take her for a blood test, she is pregnant. Noyonika refuses to have the tests, says she doesn't want to disappoint him. Rahul offers again to sell his shares to K K Dhanraj who tells him he won't get off that easily. Rahul decides to be honest with K K Dhanraj,tells him he is in love with another woman. Roberto's gang steals Suhas's car to pay him back for his attiude re Beba and him. Tejaswani recalls her moments with Rahul.
7/30/02. K K Dhanraj laughs when Rahul tells him he is in love with another woman, says that if he divorced his wife every time he liked another woman, he'd have been divorced 50 times. Rahul is surprised at his attitude, that he doesn't mind Rahul's having a lover on the side. Noyonika tells Tejaswani that the pregnancy test was negative. Suhas discovers that his car has been stolen. Beba tells him the thief is Francisco, everybody knows that. Jaime and his wife Delia Contreras introduce themselves to the director of the clinic. He says they need a director of nurses and she would be perfect. The director introduces Jaime and Delia to Rubi and Tejaswani; he appears faint. Noyonika visits Rahul's office and waits for him after getting Elsa out of the way. Knowing Elsa will return, she hides and Elsa doesn't find her in the office. Rahul goes to the clinic to find Tejaswani. Anibal kisses Isabel in spite of her tepid objections. She pushes away, tells him he can't just return to her life like this. Rahul asks Tejaswani to take off the day with him, just this once. She tells him she never wants to see him again, that she knows who he is.
7/31/02. Tejaswani tells Rahul off but doesn't explain anything. He comes after her later to try and find out what is going on. So Tejaswani introduces Dr. Raj to Rahul as her novio. While Noyonika is waiting in the back of Rahul's office, Anibal enters and fools around with a picture. Elsa calls Rahul, asks if he is still working for the company. Rahul and Anibal argue. Anibal says he got the job just because of his relationship with his sister. Rahul tells Anibal his father doesn't trust him to do the work. K K Dhanraj arrives and tells Anibal not to get involved in things that don't affect him, tells Rahul nothing has changed. K K Dhanraj talks alone with his son, says that all he has ever done is lose his money in games, whereas Rahul makes him money. He tells Anibal to cease antagonzing Rahul. Tara's mother tells her that love doesn't exist; Tara can't believe what she is saying: she married, had children. She tells Tara that K K Dhanraj took her out of the only environment (acting in telenovelas) that had any real meaning to her. Rahul is finally alone and Noyonika traps him, tells him she is expecting his baby. He doesn't believe her, says it's from a telenovela, tells her it was just "one of those things" and what proof is there that the baby is his? Noyonika tells him that she loves him.
8/1/02. When Noyonika finally leaves the office, Elsa tells her not to come back and Noyonika warns her that she will regret her words. Noyonika then goes to a restaurant and drinks some champagne, pleased with her performance. Rahul goes home and wonders what he should do if it is true. Beba is questioned by the police. Suhas arrives and Beba confesses she has been working not going to school, finally names Francisco. Noyonika gets very, very drunk and tells the other diners that she is about to change her life, from top to bottom. When Rahul's mother realizes that he really doesn't want to marry Tara, she goes to visit Tejaswani. They talk and she tells her that she believes Rahul is in love for the first time in his life, that he gave up everything for her. Francisco and Adriana talk. Roberto tells Miguel not to worry, "el gato" won't talk. K K Dhanraj calls Rahul, tells him that Anibal is returning to the jungle to finish the road, he should concentrate on the commercial center. Rahul looks at the picture of him and Tara.
8/2/02. Tejaswani asks an engineer for Rahul's phone number/address. He refuses, especially when the guard recognizes her as the woman who raised a scandal the night before. Nevertheless, he agrees to call Rahul and get his permission. Anibal flirts with Isabel. He offers to drive her home but takes her to an isolated spot on a mountain. She runs away, slips, calls for help, and he helps her. Tejaswani tells Rahul she isn't going to marry Dr. Martinez. He says he knew it from looking at him, but realized she wanted nothing to do with him. She tells him she was mistaken, thought he was going to marry. Now she knows better. He explains about Tara. She admits that she loves him. They kiss. He asks her to stay. She tells him she knows she isn't 15 any more and understood what it meant to come to his apartment, but The drunk Noyonika finds the drunk Kunal on the street and the two talk. Anibal asks her if she'd rather die than be kissed by him. She tells him no, she'd rather fall down the cliff than be with him, period. Francisco is arrested. Suhas demands to know where Noyonika is and why she is so drunk. She tells him she is an adult and can do what she wants. He tells her that she has to ask him permission. He won't let her go to the bathroom. She tells him she goes there because it is the only place where she can breathe. She asks for a divorce. Meanwhile Kunal and Shubhangi argue about his drinking. Francisco is told that Beatriz gave them his name. Beatriz recalls promising Francisco that she wouldn't tell who gave her the information about where the car was. Rahul cooks for Tejaswani, then tells her there is something he must resolve.

USA 8/5-9/02. 8/5/02 - Noyonika asks for a divorce. He goes outside and starts to chop down a tree while Beba watches, cries and thinks it is herself. Tejaswani and Rahul dance and she remembers dancing with her father when she was a child. Shubhangi tells Kunal to stop Suhas; the tree is special. Francisco tells the police that Beba isn't a friend, just a co-worker. Suhas tells Kunal the tree grew where it shouldn't. Kunal swears to him that nothing happened between Noyonika and him, doesn't know from where she came. Suhas believes him, tells him the tree doesn't have enough space or light. Beba packs. Jaime goes to a bar, recalls the night he was driving a taxi and picked up a passenger who put a gun to his head, pushed him over a cliff. He is tempted to drink but doesn't. Anibal's father tells him not to return from the jungle until the job is done. Isabel tells herself she can't continue to be in love with Anibal. Suhas sleeps in the living room, recalls scenes from his past. Rahul and Tejaswani lie together on the sofa. Tara knocks on the door. Tejaswani hides in the bedroom. Tara refuses to leave until she sees the woman he was with. She finally leaves, Tejaswani feels sorry for her. Rahul drives Tejaswani home. Tara goes through a photo album, tearing up things. Anibal asks her if she has no pride, tells her he met the woman in the office and her name is Noyonika.
8/6/02. Suhas tells Tejaswani that Noyonika asked for a divorce. Tara asks her father who Noyonika is, syas she knows that she is Rahul's other woman. K K Dhanraj tells her to forget her, she isn't the kind of woman one worries about. Tejaswani talks with Beba, tells her that she had to work hard to make it in school, but Beba doesn't believe she understands. Suhas talks with Beba, says he understands that she doesn't feel capable of the school work but feels useful working. He agrees that she can work part-time but must also go to school part-time. But she must use her earnings to buy her clothes, shoes and records. The police ask questions about Francisco who remains in jail. Elsa leaves a message with Tejaswani: Rahul needs to talk with Noyonika ASAP. Rahul talks with Imran about Tejaswani, tells him that she is his novia. K K Dhanraj tells Elsa that he would like to talk with Noyonika. Tejaswani finds Noyonika unconscious on the floor, puts her to bed. Noyonika insists it is nothing serious. Tejaswani tells Noyonika she got a call from a woman who said the engineer wanted to talk with her. K K Dhanraj talks with Rahul about "that type of woman". Rahul admits he knows that kind of woman, assures him that he wouldn't leave Tara for such a woman. Tejaswani tells Shubhangi about the message for Noyonika.
8/7/02. Anibal arrives back in the jungle and curses Rahul. Isabel tells Tara her brother tried to use her but this time she resisted. Tara tells her she did the right thing. Beba talks with Sr. Zurita, brings Suhas's permission but says she can work only part-time, admits she's not quite 15. When Noyonika arrives at the office, she is sent to K K Dhanraj, as he requested. K K Dhanraj tells her she wasn't born to sell construction materials, but to walk a suavisima alfrombre? She tells him that she has a plan and once she has made a decision, she is very stubborn. Adriana tells Beba that Francisco paid for the item she broke. When Beba tells her she doesn't know who Francisco is, Adriana tells her it is she who doesn't know. Tara's mother Sofia doesn't like Isabel because she was once about to marry Anibal and isn't right for him. Isabel's response is that they are 3 women, completely alone. Rahul finds Noyonika in K K Dhanraj's office and takes her to his. He tells her he has made a decision. He tells her he still isn't sure the child is his. Noyonika agrees to a DNA test when the child is born. He tells her he will be responsible for the child but nothing more. Noyonika goes on and on about 9 months of pregnancy, tells him she doesn't give up her baby: it's a package deal or nothing. Tejaswani tells Rubi about her night with Rahul, his novia, what she heard---that they spent much time in that bed. Tejaswani says she felt like the "other". Suhas talks with Vicente about Noyonika, the same problem as usual: her childhood. Elsa tells Noyonika that she must mean something to him because he cancelled his wedding with Tara and thought that was why K K Dhanraj wanted to see her. Noyonika tells her not to mention her husband. Sofia tells Tara to stop seeing Isabel, a woman whose father has never legally recognized her. Jaime keeps saying the name Tejaswani over and over, "es ella", listens to his wife and recalls seeing Tejaswani in the incubator room.

8/9/02. Tejaswani agrees to work with Jaime. Noyonika and Tara meet and insult each other. Isabel tells K K Dhanraj; Elsa tells Rahul. A mini-scandal follows. K K Dhanraj takes Tara away; Margarita tells Rahul she didn't seek the confrontation. Kunal finally makes his firts sale. Francisco recalls telling Beba where her brother's car was. K K Dhanraj tells Tara her fit helped Noyonika in Rahul's eyes. K K Dhanraj interrupts Rahul and Noyonika, tells him that he made him and his family the scandal of the day, that he deserves more respect. Shubhangi looks for a job. Jaime talks to Tejaswani about her working to Dr. Contreras, her husband. seems to be upset about it but does not talk straight to Tejaswani and she is left with just the doubt. Rahul accuses Noyonika of seeking Tara on purpose. Rahul tells Noyonika to leave his office. He tells her when it is born, he will be responsible for the child but not for her. Roberto, Frank and Miguel talk about the luck Fancisco had in being released by the police. Beba starts to work parttime. Beba admits to her co-worker Adriana that she is 14. Sr. Montero tells Carolina decides to hire Shubhangi after telling her that she has no experience. Before walking out she tells him a few truths and her aggressiveness impresses him. When a child tries to sell Noyonika a stuffed bear, she remembers her mother telling her to work on the streets and starts to tear up the bear, pushed the child away. She feels she has lost Rahul and her future. Tejaswani tells Suhas he has spent his life giving to others, has to learn to receive. She tells him that love is happiness; she tells him she will introduce him later but for now wants to keep it to herself. Noyonika blames ____ for her advice. Rahul tells Javier about his problem with another woman. ____ warns Noyonika that Suhas will kill her if he learns she betrayed her. Franisco tells Beba he was in jail because of her. Javier asks Rahul if Tejaswani knows what is going on. Rahul fears he will lose Tejaswani if he tells her.
USA 8/12/02. NEXT WEEK AT 5:00. Noyonika begs Suhas to forgive her. He asks her what love means to her and she can't answer. A bit later, she undresses, joins him in the shower and tells him this is love. Meanwhile, K K Dhanraj tells Tara to apologize to Rahul and, further, that the two will marry whether or not Rahul wants it. After swimming laps, Rahul finds Tejaswani in the next lane. They kiss. Then they race. Suhas rejects Margaria, tells her that love is more than sex, leaves the shower. She slips down and sits on the floor. Rahul wins the race, by a bit. Then they race again. Afterwards, she tells him she doesn't want to wait anymore. He is surprised, decides to arrange something special. Sr. Montero calls Shubhangi and Kunal answers. Afterwards, he is angry to hear that she will start work the next Monday. Jaime gets word of, possibly, a new disease in the jungle; he hopes it isn't true. When some of Anibal's men report more Indians sick, he says they're just malingering. Shubhangi tells Suhas she sometimes thinks they she and Kunal live in different worlds; he tells her that she has to understand him. Tara visits Rahul in his apartment. She apologizes. He apologizes to her, assures her that Noyonika is not responsible for their separation. He tells her that Noyonika means nothing to him, it was an error. She finds a box with her things in it.
8/13/02. Tara tells Rahul to keep the box, can't believe he would leave her for Noyonika. Tejaswani tells Shubhangi and Suhas that she is going away for the weekend, doesn't know where because it is a surprise. She tells him it isn't a joke. She isn't asking his permission. Anibal finds a lance in his door, a warning from the Indians. Rahul takes Tejaswani to the top of a hill where she can see other hills and houses and flowers. Vicente suspects something is wrong with Suhas. Suhas tells him everything is wrong: la casa, la familia. Vicente reminds him of what he accomplished. Tejaswani and Rahul go hang-gliding. Shubhangi doesn't understand what is happening: she loves Kunal but she is so angry. He is similarly confused and while walking in the park interferes with a feminist demonstration. Delia asks Jaime why he didn't ask her to be his assistant, why did he choose Tejaswani. She is jealous. He recalls a younger man with a child on a swing. Tejaswani and Rahul come down and she tells him it is the best day of her life.
8/14/02 - Rahul tells Tejaswani that there are reports of people beings lost forever in the woods, due to extra-terrestrials. Kunal is arrested for interfering with the demonstration. Noyonika tells Mayra she doesn't want to leave Suhas unless it is for a better life, needs something to win him back. Rahul and Tejaswani check in as husband and wife. Mimi tells Beba her mother doesn't want them to be friends anymore. Tejaswani looks at the bed, wonders how to prepare herself, undresses and gets into the bed. She is obviously nervous. She sees all the clothes on the floor, gets nervous, gets out of bed and takes her clothes into the bathroom. Rahul sees her bra on the floor, picks it up and puts it on the table. As she dresses, she realizes she left her bra on the floor, wonders if he saw it. She comes out of the bathroom. He pours the champagne. They kiss. She chokes on the champagne. Tejaswani admits the bra is hers, he told her to get comfortable. He goes to the bed, sits down, takes off his shoes. He comes out to the "living room", sits down with her in front of the fire, holds her. Noyonika prepares the stuff that Mayra gave her. Tejaswani takes off her sweater, tells him she is super penosa. They kiss, caress, make love. Suhas holds a family meeting (Noyonika, Shubhangi and Kunal) to resolve his problem with Noyonika. Shubhangi says she feels uncomfortable. Suhas says that's too bad because her problem with Kunal is next. Tara tells her father that she has apologized to Rahul, but he won't return to her. Her father tells her to have patience, this is part of a plan, she will marry Rahul or his name isn't K K Dhanraj Beba pays back Francisco. Tejaswani tells Rahul it was perfect, but she had always hoped it would be after she married.
8/15/02 - Kunal agrees to let Shubhangi work for a month while he takes care of the children. Beba helps Francisco take a splinter out of his kitten Beethoven. Rahul takes Tejaswani to a church and asks the priest to marry them, but since they haven't had a civil ceremony he can't. He does, however, bless their union. When Noyonika faints again, Suhas insists on her seeing a doctor. Beba spends so much time inside Francisco's house, after spilling some books, that Mimi calls Roberto when she sees him driving by. Roberto hits Francisco, then draws a knife on him. Rahul "invents" a wedding party, taking advantage of a party of tourists. The doctor who examines Noyonika suspects a pregnancy and insists on a laboratory test.
8/16/02 - Tara calls Rahul. Not getting any answer she takes sleeping pills. At the same time, Rahul and Tejaswani are celebrating their "wedding" in the mountains. Elvira takes Noyonika's blood test. When she leaves, Jaime sees Noyonika take the vial. The doctor tells Suhas he thinks she is pregnant but must have the test results first. At home, Noyonika disposes of the blood. Roberto refuses to take Beba home, insists on taking her to the movies. Francisco's aunt asks him how long she has to put up with him, "bonita herencia de su papa". He assures her he will leave as soon as he can, so she can rent it for what it is worth. Roberto kisses Beba, tells her he likes her a lot. Then he kisses her really hard, says they are going to make love right now. Beba runs away from Roberto. The guard tells him to leave the garage or he will call the police. Dr. Raj tells Rubi he is worried about Tejaswani, knows that Rahul isn't for her. Rubi tell him that the two love each other. K K Dhanraj finds Tara on the floor. Sofia blames Rahul, swears he will pay for hurting Tara. Tejaswani asks Rahul, after making love, if this is por toda la vida. He tells her he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Roberto tells Suhas that he got her from that "malandrito's" house, was going to take her to the movies, but she got angry and ran away. Suhas won't let Beatriz talk, refuses to let her see that "tipo" again. Anibal doesn't care that another worker has died. Tejaswani tells Rahul she doesn't want to leave, asks her what he is going to do now. It won't be easy working for his ex's father. He admits it won't be but tells her that nobody will come between the two of them. Tejaswani and Rahul return to his apartment. He checks his answering machine: calls from his mother, Tara is in the hospital.

USA 8/19-23/02. 8/19/02 - Tejaswani tells Rahul to go to the hospital at once, Tara was his novia and he doesn't know how bad she may be. In the hospital, Sofia tells K K Dhanraj it is Rahul's fault. He reminds her that it was her pills. Rahul's mother arrives at the hospital, says that Rahul will come. Juan buries the worker; Rahul tells him we all die. Juan tells Anibal that most of the workers have left because of the plague. Beba's padrino Vicente visits her. She tells him that Suhas said awful things to her and wouldn't let her talk. Tejaswani returns home.K K Dhanraj and Sofia blame Rahul for what has happened. Beba tells Vicente el chavo isn't bad unlike somebody else who says the right things but isn't a good person. Vicente asks about the other person. Beba says nobody hurt her, but it is unjust to accuse him. Tejaswani explains that her man had a good reason for not bringing her home. She tells them that they went to La Colonia Tovar and gives them the little presents she bought them. Tejaswani asks Shubhangi why she didn't tell her before how wonderful it was to love. But she also tells Shubhangi about the ex-novia and her attempt to commit suicide. The doctor tells them that Tara has reacted, wants to see Rahul. She begs him not to leave her. She admits that what she did was stupid but she did it for him. She begs him not to leave her. Alvaro tells K K Dhanraj that he can't confront Rahul so directly, must remember that Rahul knows too much about the company. K K Dhanraj agrees not to do anything against Rahul, for the moment, but asks Alvaro to investigate Noyonika from top to bottom for him. Suhas tells Noyonika that she has to give blood again. Rahul's mother tries to calm down, with no luck, Sofia. Dr. Dr. Raj Martinez doesn't realize that Rubi loves him. The director tells Jaime his budget request is too high, tells him to make do with what is there. Jaime says that's impossible, some equipment is broken, some is missing, etc. Jaime warns him about the possibility of an epidemic. Kunal objects to Shubhangi's clothes for her first day of work. Shubhangi gives Kunal instructions for the care of the twins. Alvaro Galindez talks to Elsa about Tara, says she should explain, if asked, that there was just an accidnet. He also tells her that he wants better control of those who come to the business, asks if there is a list, then asks for information about the salespeople (i.e., Noyonika). Jaime sees Noyonika in the clinic and looks strangely at her.
8/20/02. Alvaro Galindez introduces himself to Suhas on the job site, asks for some information and is sent to Vicente whom he quizzes a bit about Noyonika. Vicente tells Suhas it was a strange conversation with Alvaro. Among other things he asked about Noyonika. Noyonika appears at the clinic for Tejaswani to take a blood sample. Shubhangi starts works as the assistant of Sr. Campos. The doctor tells K K Dhanraj and Sofia that Tara is out of danger. Tejaswani tells Dr. Raj that Rahul left his novia for her. She tells him she feels guilty, has to leave. Noyonika shows her bruja Omaira the blood vial that will prove she is pregnant, asks what she can do. Omaira tells her that the child is her only chance to win the engineer. Beba confesses to Mimi that Francisco no es malo, pero Roberto tried to rape her. Adriana notices that Francisco seems distracted at work. Tejaswani visits Tara's room, gives her some water. Dr. Raj tells Tejaswani she shouldn't have visited Tara's room, it isn't her problem. Roberto plans to follow Beba to find out where she and Francisco work. As Mimi (Maria de Jesus) and Beba leave the school, their teacher confronts them about the classes and test they missed. Beba takes the blame, but the teacher punishes them both. Tara asks the nurse Carmen who the other nurse was who came to see her. Carmen has no idea. Tejaswani tells Rubi about Tara. Tejaswani tells her that while she was living the happiest days of her life, this other woman was trying to take her life. She feels guilty. Rubi tells Tejaswani that love isn't guilty. Neither she nor Rahul is responsible for what Tara did. Noyonika goes to the office and tells Jenny she has to see Rahul. If she doesn't, she will scream and make a scandal. Jenny calls Elsa. Rahul is in a meeting with Alvaro and K K Dhanraj. Elsa interrupts the meeting, asks to talk to Rahul outside, and tells him about Noyonika; K K Dhanraj listens from behind the door. Tejaswani goes to the lab and apologizes to Jaime for being late. He notices that she is nervous, asks if she is all right. He starts with the rules of the lab: #1 - the lab coat. Campos tells Shubhangi he is pleased with her first day of work. Kunal plays with the kids, diapers them, etc.
8/21/02 - Jaime notices that Tejaswani is distracted, asks what is wrong, does it have something to do with the relative who came in for tests. She explains that it was her cuada but no, it has to do with her. She wonders why happiness is never complete, why nothing is forever. She cries a bit. Jaime tells her he thinks of crying sometimes but doesn't think he could stop. She asks him if he has children and he says no. She tells him that she and her brothers and sisters would give anything to have their parents. He repeats her words: happiness is never complete.Jaime tells her he wishes he were a wise man who could give her advice, but he can't even solve his own problems. Delia enters and Tejaswani leaves. He tells her her jealousy is groundless. She doesn't believe him, begs him to tell her when he wants to leave her, not to put another woman between them.
Rahul meets Noyonika. She tells him she can't wait any longer. They are going to decide now, if his child is going to be born or not. Rahul tells her the only decision the two should have made together is whether or not she should get pregnant and they didn't. She tells him she wants him to make the decision. He tells her they need to go someplace where they can talk and shout. Rahul tells Noyonika he isn't a fool, she obviously has a plan in mind. She tells him to take care of them both or she will get rid of it. Rahul tells her he will be responsible for the child if it is his. Rahul asks her if she means that he marry her or she will abort. He tells her that he won't permit her to abort if the child is his. Noyonika tells him she will give him a few days to decide but no more.
Mimi's mother takes her home and tells her and Beba that she doesn't want to see the two of them together or she will tell Beba's brother. Adriana doesn't understand why Francisco keeps looking out the window. The professor tells Beba she can leave, tells her that he doesn't think she is bad just disorientada. Francisco complains about the volume of the music, tells her it bothers the patrons. Suhas comes to the store to ask for Beba. Adriana tells him that she hasn't come or called. He goes to talk with the boss, sees Francisco. The boss tells Suhas he didn't know she was underage, she's a good girl but a bit unstable. Suhas asks him about Francisco, tells Suhas he is a good boy. Suhas tells Francisco he wants to talk with him about Beba. Francisco goes outside. Suhas tells him not to have anything to do with Beatriz. Suhas tells Francisco he doesn't care who he is, just stay away from Beba. Beba goes to Francisco's house but he isn't there. She waits.
Elvierita demands to talk with Dr. Ral Serpa. She is angry because Delia is the new chief nurse. Rubi gives Dr. Raj Noyonika's results. Dr. Raj tells Tejaswani that Noyonika isn't pregnant, has a very high cholesteral for her age. Dr. Raj tells Tejaswani she isn't responsible for Tara, tells her she has a right to be happy.
Sofia visits Tara. All Tara says is that she wants Rahul. Sofia blames her husband for always giving Tara everything she wants. Now, for the first time, she can't have something she wants (implying that now she doesn't know how to handle it.). Dr. Raj tells Tejaswani that she can't know what would have happened if she hadn't appeared. Dr. Raj tells her that sooner or later Tara will get over it; neither she nor Rahul is guilty.
Noyonika reads the card Rahul sent Tejaswani with flowers, signed it El Mago. Suhas returns home to see the flowers, tells Noyonika he won't believe in the man until he appears at the door. She hopes that Tejaswani doesn't mind her taking a rose, since nobody has ever sent her such a bouquet. Noyonika finds her dry-cleaned clothes spread on the sofa. The kitchen with Kunal and the babies is pretty much a mess. Kunal insists he has everything under control. Livia gets ready to leave for the day. Octavio shakes his head as she leaves. Octavio tells Montero that she has no experience, has to be shown everything. Montero tells him it was just the first day, give her a chance.
K K Dhanraj talks with the doctor, doesn't understand why she is sleeping so much. The doctor says that she is sedated and the suicide attempt was a sign of a deep depression, will need a psychiatrist. Jaime asks Rubi about Tejaswani for the file. Rubi tells him all the information is correct. Rahul is waiting for Tejaswani when she leaves the clinic, asks for a hug. He tells her that he missed her.

8/22/02 - Rahul drives Tejaswani home. She tells him she is worried because her cuada isn't pregnant and she knows that will be a disappointment. Rahul asks what she would do if she got pregnant. She says if it were his she would be happy. He asks what about a man getting a woman pregnant in a relationship that had no meaning. She says one shouldn't let such things happen. She says goodbye and gets out of the car.
Francisco gives Beba another book, this one by Hesse. He mentions that he met her brother Suhas in the store. She tells him he is different, a good different. He tells her that she is special too.
Jaime finds the house where Tejaswani lives, sees Shubhangi arrive in a taxi. She sees the mess in the living room, kitchen, calls Kunal. He tells her he was busy all day, that after the day he had, she isn't satisfied? Shubhangi starts to clean up the kitchen. Beba offers to help but Shubhangi tells her she is studying. She says no, she is just reading, something that Shubhangi can't believe. Shubhangi assumes that it was Roberto who gave her the book.
In the clinic, Delia asks Rubi and ? if they've seen her husband. They nurses tell her they are sure she will be a good head nurse. When she gets home, she finds a broken whiskey bottle. She finds Jaime on the floor clutching his chest. She asks him if he was drinking, he shakes his head no, grabs on to her. He tells her he was about to fall again but didn't. She asks him what is going on, asks him to trust her. She tells him that since they arrived, he has hardly talked, can't take anymore, it seems as if something is destroying him. She tells him she is his wife, begs him to confide in her. He kisses her, tells her she has nothing to do with what is going on. He tells her that his life began with her, what came before is dead.
Tejaswani looks at her flowers and smiles. Noyonika asks her when they are going to meet her galan. Tejaswani doesn't tell her the name. Noyonika asks how they met and Tejaswani is fairly vague about that, too, just says she didn't like him at first. She gives Noyonika her test results, tells her that she isn't pregnant. Noyonika pretends to be upset. She asks Tejaswani to tell Suhas.Tejaswani tells him that Noyonika isn't pregnant, that she feels she is failing him, knowing how much he wants a child. She suggests that they see a specialist. He tells her that Noyonika doesn't want to. Noyonika overhears. He tells Tejaswani he isn't going to insist anymore, his insistence is hurting Noyonika. Still, he can't believe that the nausea is a result of the high cholesterol.
Rahul visits Javier, tells him he had nowhere else to go, feels as if he were 100 years old, says it has nothing to do with Tejaswani. He feels on top of a precipice instead of enjoying the best time of his life. Rahul tells him that Tara attempted suicide and the other woman has told him he must decide if the child should be born. Rahul tells him Tejaswani doesn't know about the baby, she is affected enough as is by Tara. He is afraid of losing her.
Beba thinks of Francisco and he thinks of her, tells his kitten Beethoven that he has good taste, puts on some classical music.
Serpa finishes having sex with Elverita in his office, kisses her again. She tells him that she should be the head of the nurses not that Delia.He tells her that she is his chief. She accuses him of making fun of her. She tells him she knows the clinic from top to bottom, knows all, says it is to his advantage to have her by his side.
Anibal tells Juan to find more men to finish the work, from wherever. Anibal calls his father from a bar, tells him about the problem, that the people don't want to work, are afraid, suggests that they stop work for a while. K K Dhanraj tells him to solve the problem, not to stop the work.
Rahul arrives at Tara's room. K K Dhanraj takes him outside to talk. Rahul tells K K Dhanraj he has affection for Tara and is worried about her but isn't in love with her. K K Dhanraj tells him that she loves him, that all that is important to men are things of the world, de intereses. He tells Rahul that Tara was about to die for him and that is all that matters to him. K K Dhanraj tells him that he wants to see Tara happy and that depends solely on him.
Beba explains to Suhas why she wasn't working. Tejaswani tells her she must be more responsible.

Suhas talks with Roberto, says that Beba seems to be disturbed by something. Roberto assures him he would do nothing to hurt her. Suhas tells him he knows that, asks him to call him if he learns anything.
Noyonika goes to work, talks with Vicente who tells him that from now on la factura must be 30 days not 60 days. Noyonika tells him that may be a problem. Vicente tells him one of the company's lawyer, Gallindez, came by and mentioned that they all appreciate her work.
Mimi tells Beba her mother has threatened to send her to a boarding school.
Octavio blames Shubhangi for all his problems.
When Tejaswani goes into the lab, she notices that Jaime seems distressed. He says he shouldn't have come her, his life was settled, then says she must think he is crazy. She assures him that she doesn't. They talk a bit more and he learns that her mother died soon after her father.
Gallindez goes to the house, asks a neighbor if la familia Alvarez lives there; she says not, it is la familia Estrada. Then he sees Kunal with the twins, says he is looking for a seller of construction materials. Kunal says that he doesn't know any Alvarez, unless it is the maiden name of Noyonika, Kunal tells him he doesn't know where the business is located, but its name is
Noyonika talks with Elsa, asks about Gallindez. Elsa tells her what she knows and also tells her the gossip, that Tara attempted suicide.
Rahul goes to a lawyer to see if there is any legal way to prevent this woman from having an abortion. The lawyer explains to Rahul that in many places abortion is legal because the fetus is not considered a person. Further, women have full control of their bodies. Rahul argues the morality. She tells him the situation is even more default because he isn't sure that he is the father. She tells him that in this country abortion is illegal. She will have to study the legal options.
Serpa formally announces the appointment of Delia as the new head of nurses. Elvira arrives late to the announcement and is rather gross. After they leave, Serpa tells her she shouldn't be upset: the difference in pay is minimal. He also promises to help her if Delia tries to fire her.
USA 8/26-30/02. 8/26/02 - Tejaswani tells Delia that her husband isn't feeling well.
Rahul tells his mother about Noyonika's demand, doesn't know what to do about her or Tara, tells her he loves Tejaswani. Rahul tells his mother that Tejaswani knows about Tara but not Noyonika, he's waiting for the right moment. She tells him that the right moment with a woman like Tejaswani is now.
Noyonika visits Tara in the hospital, accuses her of taking the pills as her last chance to get Rahul back, tells her that she is expecting Rahul's child which is much smarter than attempting suicide. Noyonika walks out on her and Tara follows. Her mother stops her. Noyonika arrives home and throws a fit while Tara is throwing a similar fit in the hospital. Tara tells her parents that that woman was there and told her she is pregnant and that is why Rahul left her. K K Dhanraj tells her it isn't true but won't explain how he knows, says he will take care of things.
Noyonika and Kunal fight. She calls him a pobre diablo, a "useful for nothing". Kunal tells her he doesn't know how Suhas could fall in love with such a woman. Kunal tells her about the man who was asking about her, that he told him her real name.
Alvaro Gallindo tells K K Dhanraj Solis that Noyonika is married to Suhas Estrada, doesn't think Rahul knows. K K Dhanraj tells him that Rahul will learn the truth but it is Noyonika who will pay.
Tejaswani shows Jaime the news report of an epidemic in the jungle and Juan tells Anibal he heard the news on the radio. Jaime says he has been studying the possiblity for years, fears this is something worse but needs proof.
Noyonika calls her psychic, tells her that Tara's father knows she is pregnant and is married.
Rahul takes Tejaswani home, tells her there is something important she must know. Before he can talk, she tells him she hasn't been honest. She tells him that she went to see Tara.
Sr. Montero reprimands Shubhangi for something she didn't do and doesn't give her a chance to explain.

8/27/02 - Tejaswani tells Rahul she visited Tara, was in her nurse's outfit, felt so bad because she must love him a lot to have done what she did. He reminds her that he loves her. Before he can tell her his "secret", K K Dhanraj calls and says he has to talk with him. Rahul goes to the office and K K Dhanraj tells him that the baby isn't his, that Noyonika is married. Rahul is surprised at all that K K Dhanraj knows, says the baby could still be his. K K Dhanraj tells him he is too naive, should have investigated her himself. Drunk, K K Dhanraj doesn't remember her married name. Rahul admits that he is relieved but when K K Dhanraj talks about his taking the "right" path now, Rahul tells him it is time to break all ties with K K Dhanraj, his family and the business. When he gets back to his apartment and Tejaswani, he is smiling.
Roberto follows Beba as she walks home through the woods late at night and tries to rape her. Francisco arrives in time and they fight. Roberto knifes Francisco and threatens Beba with harm to herself and her family if she tells. Beba stops a taxi driver and convinces him to drive her and Francisco to the clinic. At the clinic, all she can tell Delia is Francisco's first name. When Dr. Raj appears and asks her what happened, she recalls Robert's threat.
Earlier, Noyonika's psychic tells her there is another woman, which makes no sense to Noyonika. Before they can finish, Suhas knocks on the bedroom door. Noyonika lies about why the woman was there and she leaves. Then Suhas sees the suitcase. Noyonika tells him she has to go away, then changes it to wants to go away with him on a sort of vacation, she can't take the house any more. He tells her he can't spend money on a vacation. He can't even pay the mortgage and his buisness is in the red. He tells her if she wants to go, she can go. Later, she tries to talk with him in his home office, tells him she can't stop hearing the music. He tells her it is only in her head, but if she wants to go, she can go alone.

8/28/02 - Rahul tells Tejaswani he is happy now because he is free. He tells Tejaswani there was another woman, before Tejaswani, but it turns out that she is married. Beba gives blood for Francisco. Beba tells Delia she doesn't know anything, doesn't know who it was. Roberto tells his accomplices that he doesn't know if Francisco is alive or dead, but Beba is too scared to talk. Suhas is angry because Beba came home so late. Tejaswani wakes up in Rahul's arms, looks at the clock and almost goes into shock, asks him how he could let her fall asleep. When Suhas discovers that Tejaswani didn't spend the night in the house, his anger increases, says he is tired of people using the house like a hotel. Tara is ready to leave the hospital but feels faint. A cop asks Francisco, who survived the surgery, to tell him everything that happened. He pretends he doesn't remember. As Noyonika leaves the house with her suitcase, K K Dhanraj drives up in front of the taxi and demands that she get in the car. Beba visits Francisco in the hospital, tells him it was the first time she went home through the park and it was because she was late. She also admits it wasn't the first time that Roberto tried. She tells him the story and admits she didn't tell her brother because he didn't let her talk and then she was just too angry with him to tell the truth. Rahul looks for an engagement present for Tejaswani. K K Dhanraj takes Noyonika to a park and demands to know if she really thought she could get away with this. Noyonika insists that the baby is Rahul's. He asks her how much money she wants to leave his daughter and Rahul alone. She tells him not everything is money, but he threatens her: take the money and go or he will tell her husband what kind of woman she is. She takes the money. Tara tells Isabel "that woman" is pregnant with the child she wanted to give Rahul, can't forget him. Tejaswani finds a medallion in the lab like the one her mother had. Jaime visits the grave of Angela M. Only seconds after he leave, Vicente stops by the same grave. Noyonika puts her hands to her ears, starts to walk away from the suitcase. Suhas calls home and asks for Noyonika. Kunal tells him she left, with a suitcase.

USA, 8/29/02 - Suhas decides not to look for Noyonika. Jaime watches Vicente clean off the headstone for Angela.
Delia demands to know what Tejaswani is doing with the medallion and book of her husband. She says she just found it. In revenge, she tells her about Beatriz bringing in a badly hurt boy and how they had to break the rules because she was her sister.
Francisco asks Beatriz to explain why he can't go to work. Tejaswani sees Beatriz in the hall, asks for an explanation. Beba tells her the truth except for saying that the attacker was a stranger. They are interrupted by Jaime. Beatriz thanks him, gives him a kiss on the cheek and leaves. Delia visits Francisco and reprimands him for making her break the rules, implies (from his look) that he is a trouble-maker. Tejaswani thanks Jaime.
Rahul asks Javier for his keys, he wants to arrange a surprise. Rahul tells him that Tejaswani will be the last woman in his life.Rubi gives Tejaswani Rahul's message a bit late. Tejaswani goes to the recreation center, the pool, calls for Rahul. She finds bunches of balloons and a card attached to once bunch. Rahul hides behind Tejaswani as she guesses that he wants her to undress, enter the pool and swim over to the card. She walks away but returns in her swim suit. When she reads the card attached to the balloons, it tells her to meet him at the bottom of the pool where he puts the engagement ring on her finger..When they reach the surface, he proposes. She acts surprised. She accepts.
Isabel tries to tell K K Dhanraj that he isn't helping Tara by encouraging her feelings for Rahul. K K Dhanraj doesn't accept the advice.
Suhas tells Vicente that Noyonika left the house with a suitcase. He tells Vicente that everything has a limit, if his marriage is over, it is over. Noyonika enters the office. Noyonika tells Suhas she has always had to share him, she is alone. She tells him she wants to try again. He says until when, until another of her crises. She tells him that he is her life. She promises him it will be different.
Roberto and his friends get guns from their boss.
K K Dhanraj tells Gallindo that Rahul's reaction surprised him. He seemed relieved but still wanted to sell out. Gallindo tells him it isn't practical now; Rahul knows too much. K K Dhanraj agrees, but says he is much too ethical. Gallindo suggests that K K Dhanraj buy time. Once the project is finished, it won't matter. K K Dhanraj says that won't solve the problem of Tara's obsession. Gallindo suggests sending her abroad.
Beba begs the director of her school to give her another chance, let her take the exam. Beba asks for more time to finish the exam but the director tells her she has already given her more time than is allowed.
Kunal takes the twins shopping.
Delia asks Jaime where he was. He gives a lame excuse. She returns his agenda, says that Tejaswani had it, and the medallion.
Roberto goes to the clinic and asks Rubi what room his good friend Francisco is in.

USA 8/30/02. Roberto pressures Rubi for Francisco's room number. The orderly who helped Beba recalls her telling him that Francisco has no friends. Roberto enters the room after Dr. Raj leaves. Roberto threatens him with a gun, tells him that nobody will believe his story. Franciso tells the orderly the visitor wasn't a friend.
Jaime recalls the woman who gave him the medallion, just like hers.
Suhas tells Noyonika he is tired, he has too many worries for their relationship to be one more. He tells her that he feels alone. She promises it will be different from now on. He won't be alone. She gives him something to eat, acts lovingly toward the twins.
Beba tells Francisco's aunt he was knifed and is in the hospital. She says she doesn't care, too bad he isn't dead. .
Tejaswani shows Rubi her ring, then goes to Francisco's room where she sees him sleeping.
K K Dhanraj tells Tara she is going on a vacation.
Noyonika serves dinner. Suhas yells at Tejaswani when she comes late. She tells them all she is going to marry. Suhas is furious because she never invited him to the house. Tejaswani assures him that was her decision, that she isn't going to give up his studies. But she is in love and doesn't want to wait. Suhas tells Tejaswani he wants her to be happy, but he knows this is her first man, she doesn't know him well. He's afraid that she is in love with love.
Rahul eats at a restaurant with his mother and ? to tell them that he proposed and Tejaswani accepted.
Shubhangi criticizes Kunal for what he fed the twins.
K K Dhanraj tells himself that for now he will pretend not to have anything against Rahul but when he is ready, he will get revenge. Rahul's mother tells Rahul she is worried about Don K K Dhanraj. To herself she thinks that men like K K Dhanraj do not forgive. K K Dhanraj tells his wife that when the moment comes, Rahul will pay all that he owes.
Noyonika tells Suhas she wants to visit Omaira. He doesn't like Omaira but doesn't object. Noyonika tells Omaira what happened. She isn't even happy with the money she got. Noyonika blames Omaira for all that has happened to her, asks Omaira to help her get rid of her child.
Tejaswani tells Beba she doesn't like the look of Francisco.

RCTV, 6/18/00: Como Noyonika (Roxana Daz) tena cita con el Dr. Dr. Raj (Jernimo Gil), debido al control que debe llevar por el supuesto alto nivel de triglicridos encontrado, Tejaswani (Scarlet Ortiz) la acompa a la clnica. Mientras nuestra protagonista buscaba al doctor, Noyonika esper en el laboratorio. Fue entonces cuando Jaime (Roberto Moll) la conoci y aprovech para descubrir ms cosas sobre la familia Estrada, pero tambin, por su manera de expresarse cuando hablaba de (Kunal Cruz) y sus tres hermanas, pudo intuir la clase de mujer que es ella. Posteriormente, cuando Tejaswani qued sola con Jaime, este no pudo evitar hacerle la advertencia de que tuviera mucho cuidado con su cuada. Justamente cuando Noyonika sala de la clnica, Rahul (Ricardo lamo) estaba llegando al mismo lugar para verse con Tejaswani. Fue entonces cuando Noyonika y l se encontraron despus de tanto tiempo. Luego de insultarse mutuamente, Noyonika le jur a Rahul que el hijo que "esperaba" s "era" de l, adems de amenazarlo con vengarse por haberla rechazado tan vilmente. Rahul no pudo evitar sentirse mal cuando escuch que la criatura ya no existe. Mientras tanto, Noyonika, frica por no haber logrado lo que plane, dej a Rahul con la palabra en la boca y tom su camino. Afortunadamente, cuando Tejaswani se encontr con su novio, este ya haba quedado solo. Ambos se fueron al cafetn, donde Tejaswani le cont a Rahul que su familia, especialmente su hermano Suhas, no estaba muy conforme con lo de la boda porque an no conocan al novio. Entonces, Rahul se mostr nuevamente dispuesto a ir a la casa de los Estrada, pues para l sera un placer conocer a la familia de su futura esposa. Tejaswani acept y acordaron ir a la casa hoy mismo. Mientras tanto, Tara (Marlene Andrade), quien haba salido con su carro para buscar a Rahul, divis a Noyonika quien caminaba rpido por la calle. Tara la sigui, se baj del carro y volvi a enfrentrsele como una fiera. Como Noyonika no tena ganas de estar peleando con esa mujer, le grit cuatro cosas y sigui su camino. Pero en eso, Noyonika no se dio cuenta de que vena un motorizado y fue atropellada.

9/3/02. Omaira at first refuses to help Noyonika get an abortion, then agrees to see if she can find somebody to help. But she tells Noyonika that the baby is destined to change her life.
Noyonika tries to seduce Suhas that night; he notices that she is a little heavier.
At the clinic, Tejaswani asks Jaime if Noyonika can wait in the lab before seeing the doctor. He remembers seeing her hide her blood sample in her jeans. Jaime asks her about her husband, when he took charge of his sisters.
Shubhangi arrives at the business meeting with Sieber amd Montero. Montero asks what she is doing there. She tells them that she hasn't been able to reach Campos and gives Sieber all the material. Sieber tells her it is the same idea he presented a month ago and he didn't like it then. Shubhangi offers an idea, that they treat the purchase as an adoption.. Sieber likes the idea. Campos finally arrives.
Rahul packs up his office. After K K Dhanraj leaves the office, he blows up when talking with Alvaro. Alvaro tells him they have to be astute, find some way to keep him. He tells K K Dhanraj that Rahul can't sell the shares quickly. K K Dhanraj has an idea: fire Imran so Rahul will feel obligated to stay.
Anibal contacts his father by CB, tells him it looks as if they have an epidemic of yellow fever. He tells Anibal he'll send vaccines and hangs up. .
Rubi tells Tejaswani that Rahul is waiting for her. On her way to him, she sees Francisco listening to classical music. She takes him back to his room. Tejaswani asks if he lives alone; he says no, he lives with Bethoven, a friend. She thanks him for helping her sister. Meanwhile, Rahul bumps into Noyonika and chases her out of the clinic. She tells him she was paid to stop bothering him. She tells him it was his child, she thought she could believe in him and swears that one day they will meet again.
Beatriz learns that she passed her exam.

9/4/02 - Tara sees Noyonika walking down the street, stops her car and confronts Noyonika on the street. When Noyonika tries to get away she is accidentally hit by a motorcyclist..Tara drives away.
Ramiro meets with Galindez and Solis. K K Dhanraj reminds Imran of their need to finish the project and of the problems they have had. They propose to sent him to another project, tells Rahul that he has resigned. This will force Rahul to stay. Imran agrees.
Tejaswani tells Rahul that her family wants to meet him. He tells her to do it today. Tejaswani gives Rahul thumbnail sketches of her family.
Montero and Campos argue about what Shubhangi did and what the client wants. Campos tells Montero it's him or her. Shubhangi tells Montero that Campos was never in the office, never returned the client's calls. Montero gets a call from the client, tells the other he will make the decision. They leave the office, Shubhangi tells Carolina to find a new person, packs up to go. But Montero doesn't accept her resignation, fires Campos who threatens Shubhangi indirectly. Montero tells Shubhangi he has done some checking and all of Campos' accounts are in trouble. He gives her his position. In the meantime, back home Kunal asks a neighbor for help with a recipe. He tells her that Shubhangi hates to cook; she tells him that she loves to cook, but hates to iron and her husband does nothing in the house. She tells him she admires him.
Suhas solves his mortgage problem. Tejaswani calls to tell him that Noyonika was in an accident.
Rahul is surprised that he can't find Imran anywhere. When he returns to his office, Rahul tells Tara he doesn't know if "la loca" is pregnant or not, but, in any case, she is married. Rahul tells Tara that they are another matter: she doesn't have to take a vacation, he doesn't have to leave the company. Rahul tells her to accept her father's idea. Just then K K Dhanraj enters the office. He call Galindez to take Tara home.
K K Dhanraj asks Rahul to reconsider his position because Imran has resigned. Rahul can't believe he would have done such a thing, knowing his situation, without telling him. K K Dhanraj almost begs him to stay, at least until the project is completed. Rahul considers, then goes to K K Dhanraj's office and tells him he will stay.
Noyonika tells Tejaswani she is in pain.
Francisco finds the orderly on the balcony looking at the city. They talk. The orderly asks him if he tales La Beba en seria. Francisco says she is a great friend, but a muchachita.

USA, 9/5/02. Suhas assumes, of course, that Noyonika's baby is his. Dr. Raj tells Suhas there must have been a mistake in the lab. Then she stats to bleed. Dr. Raj tells Tejaswani there is a chance the baby can be saved. Tejaswani admits to him that she isn't sure Noyonika is happy about the pregnancy. The obstretician tells Tejaswani that Noyonika must take some medicine but, above all, needs complete rest.
Adriana blames Beba for what happened to Francisco.
Jaime sees Tejaswani embracing Vicente, recalls a scene from his past. Drunk, he returned home to find his wife Angela embracing Vicente. Vicente tried to explain but Jacinto didn't believe him. Angela tells him that the money is a loan, and not the first. She tells him he is the one who failed, who left his studies of medicine using her and the children as an excuse. Suhas sees him hit Angela. Jaime realizes that Suhas is his son, this is his family.
Rahul asks Elsa to find Imran so he can find out why he resigned.
Alvaro asks Nestor's wife Sofia how long she has been taking pills, abusing herself, tells her problems can always be solved if one has the courage to solve them.
Roberto tells Sr. Corleone he doesn't have to worry about Francisco.
Anibal meets with the Indio in the jungle. He tells Anibal they aren't welcome. Anibal explains that la peste is just yellow fever which occurs wherever there are men and mosquitos, that the highway will end their isolation, that if he doesn't build it somebody else will. The Indian tells him that they are destroying la naturaleza. He disappears as quickly as he appeared.
Beba takes something for Francisco to Negro, the orderly. She meets Francisco on the balcony and they talk. He warns her not to walk in obscure places, to be careful, asks her to take care of Bethoven. Meanwhile, Roberto and his friends are destroying Francisco's room.
Shubhangi arrives home and can't believe the smell, the taste of the soup. She kisses Kunal over and over. She tells him she is the new jefe de cuentas and tries to seduce him, but the doorbell rings. It is Rahul, there to ask for Tejaswani's hand in marriage. He finds Kunal and Shubhangi in various states of undress. Embarrassed, and not knowing about Noyonika, they talk a bit. Then Tejaswani calls, tells Rahul her cuada had an accident, doesn't know when she'll get home. Rahul leaves. Tejaswani, Noyonika and Suhas arrive with the news of the pregnancy. Shubhangi gives her news. And Suhas tells them he paid la cuota de la hipoteca, lacks only one. They open the champagne and drink.
Delia tries to help Jaime but he can't/won't tell her what is wrong.

USA, 9/6/02. Suhas asks Tejaswani if her novio will accept another invitation. She says yes and they make it for the next day.
In the jungle, Fonseca remembers his teacher Jaime telling him years before that sometimes what appears to be an old disease is really a new one. He isn't sure that Juan and the others are dying of yellow fever and decides to send what he has to Jaime.
Jaime goes to church, confesses that his real name is Jacinto Estrada. For many years he drank, went from pueblo to pueblo. He did return home but discovered that his wife was pregnant with another child, not his, but the child of his best friend Vicente. He has encountered his family again but they all believe he has been dead for years.
Beba goes to Francisco's home and finds his room destroyed. But Bethoven is safe.
Suhas takes out a portrait of his parents, tells Noyonika he always blamed his father for the death of his mother. She didn't tell him she was pregnant so as not to put another burden on her husband. Suhas tells Noyonika what he has never told his sisters: that his father had trouble with alcohol, reached the point of beating his mother. Suhas recalls Vicente loaning his mother some money, recalls his mother telling Vicente she was pregnant again. Suhas insists that Vicente was just a good friend. His mother was faithful to the memory of his father until she died.
Shubhangi starts work in her new position and Montero introduces her to her new secretary Mnica, one of the best students in college.
Rahul still tries to find out why Imran quit, even the man's wife didn't know, just said that he had gone away on a trip.
K K Dhanraj tells his family he has bought two tickets to Europe. They will leave in two days.
Francisco leaves the hospital and thanks the orderly.
Rahul runs into Imran who gives him all kinds of explanations, assures him it had nothing to do with K K Dhanraj. Rahul is surprised because he spoke with his wife and she said nothing about those problems.
Roberto's father Giovanni discovers the gun he hid. Roberto blames one of his father's employees. When he goes to fire the person. Roberto tells him he will take the gun to the police.
Jaime looks for Vicente.
Alvaro suggests to K K Dhanraj that he shouldn't force his wife and daughter to go to Europe, especially Sofia. K K Dhanraj tells him that Sofia is driving him crazy. And he is sending Tara away for her own good. While they are talking, K K Dhanraj sees Tejaswani walking by. She stops by Elsa's desk, asks for Rahul, introduces herself as his novia.

RCTV, 6/25/00: Rahul (Ricardo lamo) no poda creer que justamente la esposa del hermano de Tejaswani (Scarlet Ortiz) fuese la propia Noyonika (Roxana Daz), la mujer que quiso enredarlo con una barriga que ni siquiera se sabe si es de l o de su esposo, Suhas (Kunal Cruz). Por su parte, Noyonika tampoco poda creer que el novio de Tejaswani fuese el hombre que tanto la ha rechazado, a pesar del hijo que espera. Luego de mirarse con mucha tensin, Tejaswani le pregunt a ambos que si se conocan. Fue entonces cuando Noyonika dijo firmemente y con mucha ira: "s, claro que nos conocemos". Por un momento, y por la manera de hablar de Noyonika, Rahul pens que esta dira todo lo ocurrido entre ellos, pero afortunadamente lo que Noyonika quiso decir es que se conocen porque ella es la persona que le vende los materiales de construccin a la empresa Sols. Esto signific un alivio para Rahul; sin embargo, Noyonika no dejaba de verlo de una manera acusadora y amenazante, situacin que lo incomod muchsimo durante toda la cena. A pesar de la tensin en el ambiente, todos empezaron a comer y mientras se intercambiaban comentarios, Rahul no emiti palabra alguna y estaba como ido; de hecho, dej prcticamente toda la comida que le sirvieron. Tejaswani se dio cuenta del cambio de conducta de su novio, pero hasta ahora no sabe cul es el motivo. Para ella, quizs fue que no le gust la comida o algo que ocurri que a l no le gust. Otro personaje que se mostr extrao y desubicado durante la cena fue Vicente (Antonio Cuevas), quien despus de haber visto aquel hombre cuya mirada y voz le hizo recordar a Jaime (Roberto Moll), no dej de pensar en la posibilidad de que su amigo est vivo y no muerto como hasta hoy se ha credo.
USA, 9/9-13/02. 9/9/02 - Rahul tells Tejaswani he doesn't mind her coming to the office. Tara asks her mother why she always does what her father wants. Jaime follows Vicente. In the laboratory, Jaime's wife recalls hearing him say "my son", realizes he had a family. Noyonika exercises to try to lose the baby. Suhas shows Tejaswani the drawing of their parents, tells her he is sorry he got rid of the photos of their father. It was after their mother died and he wasn't in his right mind. Elsa calls Noyonika, tells her to forget Rahul because she has met his novia and he is very much in love. They hear Noyonika crying out and go to her. Suhas reminds Margartia she must rest. After they leave the room, he tells Tejaswani it seems as if Noyonika wants to lose the baby. Tejaswani tries to explain to him the changes that a woman's body goes through. Francisco finds his room destroyed. Beba arrives, tells him they must tell the police. Francisco says no. Tejaswani lets Roberto watch the twins. Rahul tells his mother to hurry up. When Beba sees Roberto with the twins, she tells him to give them up; Suhas doesn't understand her attitude and invites Roberto to stay. Outside, Rahul's mother tells him this isn't the first time she has been to this house and tells him about her conversations with Tejaswani. His mother seems impressed that Tejaswani never told him anything. Roberto and Beba goes outside. He tells her he doesn't know what she is talking about. Rahul and his mother finally meet Suhas. In the park, Vicente asks Jaime, whom he doesn't recognize, what he wants. Before his is pushed away by a crowd, Jaime tells Vicente he took everything from him, his family, everything. Beba and Roberto return. Rahul's mother notices that Beba is nervous. Roberto takes his leave. Shubhangi and Kunal join the family. Suhas shows the portrait to Rahul and his mother. Noyonika gets dressed.
USA 9/10/02 - Suhas recognizes Rahul as a champion swimmer. He tells Suhas he had to choose between a swimming career and enginerring. Noyonika gets dressed. Eloisa, Rahul's mother tells Suhas his parents must have been special for the family to have kept together. They talk of Vicente, an old friend who has been like a father to them. Suhas tells Noyonika he will come for her when they are all ready to eat. He tells her that he likes Tejaswani's novio. Vicente wonders who the man was, thinks of the voice, can't believe it could have been Jaime. Then he goes to Suhas's house and is introduced to Rahul and his mother. Rahul tells the family he wants to marry Tejaswani and wants to ask for her hand. Suhas wonders about their marrying so soon, but he, as well as the others, gives him her hand. Vicente looks at the portrait, starts to tell Tejaswani about the last time he saw her father then stops himself, tells her he likes her novio. They go into dinner and Suhas goes to get Noyonika. Rahul gives Tejaswani a quick kiss Noyonika sits down to dinner, but Tejaswani and Rahul aren't there yet. They're out in the garden together. When they enter the dining room, Suhas introduces Rahul to his wife Noyonika. Tejaswani and Suhas wonder a bit about their reacton. Noyonika admits they know each other and Tejaswani recalls that she sells to the company where Rahul works. Noyonika gets sick and leaves the table. Tejaswani explains that she is pregnant. She tells Suhas she is going back to the table and does. Beba says she doesn't like the food from Giovanni's restaurant. Eloisa congratulates Noyonika. Suhas tells her the child is very much wanted, they've been trying for two years. Tejaswani says that she and Rahul are going to wait until she graduates. Suhas asks Rahul how he feels about that and Rahul seems surprised, but says fine. Suhas says he admires his patience, because he has wanted a child since the day he married Noyonika. Neither Beba nor Rahul nor Vicente has an appetite. Suhas tells Eloisa he doesn't care if the child is a boy or a girl. After dinner, the family goes into the living room. Rahul makes an excuse for leaving early and his mother picks up on his need to leave early. Rahul says goodbye. Vicente tells him that Tejaswani and her family are like his, if he makes Tejaswani happy, he will be happy. Rahul shakes Noyonika's hand. Eloisa says her goodbyes. Noyonika can barely contain herself. Vicente says goodbye. Beba wonders at Rahul's fast exit, as does Tejaswani. Rahul tells Tejaswani they will talk the next day. The sisters talk about how strange Vicente was. Shubhangi is the one who says that Rahul changed after he met Noyonika. Suhas questions Noyonika about her behavior at the table. She was so anxious to meet Tejaswani's novio, then didn't say a word. Noyonika tells him that Rahul can't marry Tejaswani.
Jaime walks the street, wondering what he's done, wondering if Vicente recognized him, will tell his family. When he gets home, his wife asks him about his son. Jaime tells her he had a son and two girls, left his wife because she had a child with another man, Vicente, his best friend. He tells her they thought he had been killed, she rescued him from the drink. He tells her he needs to be successful so his children will be proud of him, perhaps forgive him. Then she tells him the blood sample has arrived from Dr. Fonseco.
K K Dhanraj tells his wife that Tara will have to live with whatever she has packed; if she hasn't finished, that is her problem. Sofia blames K K Dhanraj for putting Anibal in the jungle rather than here, in place of Rahul. K K Dhanraj tells her that is where he belongs; just then Anibal appears. He tells them that everybody is dying, even Juan has died. That's why he has come home.
The blood sample waits in the laboratory while the doctor in the jungle calls and calls, waiting for the results.
Francisco goes to the pizza parlor where Roberto works and confronts him, accuses him loudly of trying to kill him, of destroying his house. Some of the customers hear the accusations which Roberto denies. Francisco challenges him to get his gun. Finally, Franciso tells him that if his father hasn't taught him, men attack head on not in the back. Roberto's father talks to him, tells him that what the boy said had better not be true. Roberto cries, says the guy was crazy. Back home, Francisco tells Bethoven he hopes he accomplished what he wanted, to plant a doubt in Giovanni's mind and he has. Giovanni tells Fernando he's not sure that he knows his son. Roberto recalls Franciso's last words, gets in his car and promises Francisco he will regret what he's done. He goes to his friends and gets the gun he gave them. Francisco's aunt discovers what has happened to his room and blames him for the destruction. Francisco asks his aunt why she hates him. She tells him that her brother was a normal man until he married his mother because she was pregnant, then he became a drunk. Just then, Roberto drives by and fires into the house. His aunt blames him, tells him this is the last straw. She tells him to leave.

9/11/02 - Noyonika tells Suhas that Rahul can't marry Tejaswani because he was engaged to his associate's daughter, broke the engagement and created a scandal. Back home, Rahul doesn't tell his mother the truth, says that Noyonika was just a casual acquaintance. Beba tells Tejaswani that Roberto isn't the good person they all think he is, she doesn't want to see him in the house again. Tejaswani asks why, but Suhas interrupts them.
In her bedroom, Noyonika recalls telling Tejaswani to fight for her love, now says "primero muerto" before he marries her. Tejaswani tells Suhas the story, Tara's attempted suicide, how both felt guilty. Suhas asks how long they were engaged, tells her one doesn't become engaged casually. Tejaswani assures him that their love is real. She asks Suhas to give him a chance. Rahul's mother tells him he has a wonderful woman, mustn't lie to her. Shubhangi tells Kunal she is worried, nothing has been the same since Noyonika entered the house, she is glad her father isn't here. She admits to Kunal that she misses him more than her mother.
Fonseco finally gets hold of Jaime, tells him he doesn't think it is yellow fever. Jaime asks if there have been any rats or other animals not natural to the area. Jaime advises a quarantine area.
Noyonika sneaks out of the house the next day. Tejaswani tells Rubi how Rahul asked for her hand from all of them. On her way to Rahul's office, she sees Anibal and K K Dhanraj and hides. Then she sees Elsa and demands Rahul's address, says she will get her fired if she doesn't. K K Dhanraj calls Rahul, tells him he has to come to the office to talk with him and Anibal. K K Dhanraj tells Anibal not to tell Rahul that Imran is still working for the company and will be taking his place in the jungle. Tara calls Isabel before leaving for the airport, reminds her of her promise. Sofia tells Alvaro that Tara has the character of her father; he says "and the beauty of her mother". He gives her a letter, asks her not to read it until she has left the country.
At work, Suhas asks Vicente how he feels about Rahul. Vicente approves. Later, he thinks of the strange man, tells Vicente he was remembering the last day. They both recall the drunken scene, the police appearing later with the news that they found his car completely burned up.
Jaime tells Tejaswani this is a new virus, a fatal one.
Shubhangi submits her new proposal to Sr. Sieber, acknowledges the contribution of Boris. Sieber approves.

9/12/02 - Noyonika arrives at Rahul's door. He calls her a nightmare, a plague, wonders how a man so upright as Suhas could have married a woman like her. He guesses that K K Dhanraj gave her money and she admits it, tells him she has it safely hidden. She tells him he won't marry Tejaswani. He tells her she won't keep him from marrying the woman he loves, she will continue to be an accident, una barranca. He asks her why she needs to destroy. He tells her she has a man who loves her, a family, what more does she want. She tells him he doesn't know about hunger. He tells her there is no hunger in her house, just her venom. She grabs a knife, tells him there will be more than one death unless he stays away from the family.
In the lab, Jaime thinks how much Tejaswani looks like her mother while Tejaswani wonders about Rahul's strange behavior the night before. Tejaswani calls Rahul's house, gets Ligia and asks how she is, is surprised that she is feeling ok. Delia enters and asks Tejaswani how it went with her novio. Jaime tells Tejaswani to tell her novio he is lucky.
Roberto tells his friends it is time for Francisco to steal another car. Francisco finds another part of the map he is putting together. Beba daydreams in class. Suhas hopes Tejaswani has made the right choice.
At the airport, Anibal tells Tara to cheer up, she's going to Europe, away from Rahul. Sofia looks at the letter Alvaro gave her. K K Dhanraj tells Alvaro that with Sofia and Tara out of the country, he can concentrate on business. Alvaro tells K K Dhanraj that Serpa is on vacation, that Rahul won't change his mind on how to manage the business. That doesn't bother K K Dhanraj; things will be done his way.

USA, 9/13/02. Isabel asks Suhas for help. He tells her he doesn't have the time but when she insists and offers to pay him, he accepts because he needs the money. His wife is expecting.
Adriana tells Beba that Francisco has resigned. He is placing a call to la Capitana.
Jaime asks Tejaswani to forgive Delia's attitude, swears he has no negative intentions toward her, would be grateful if she would think of him as a father. She tells him all she remembers of her father is that he liked to dance. Then he gets a call from the jungle: more cases.
Shubhangi asks Boris if it is ok to have a business lunch with Montero, then calls home to tell Kunal she won't be there for lunch. Unfortunately, he has gone to a lot of trouble with the food. Shubhangi doesn't tell Kunal the real reason and she worries about that.
K K Dhanraj tells Rahul that Anibal will be working for him. Rahul objects, says it won't work, but K K Dhanraj insists.
Noyonika acts very loving with Suhas, then asks if he has talked with Tejaswani. He says he has and she told him that Rahul had told her all about his novia.
Delia apologizes to Tejaswani, tells her that Jaime is all she has, that he is more complicated, more fragile than he seems, that he is seeking in her (Tejaswani) something that he lost.
K K Dhanraj tells Anibal he is giving him another chance, tells him to learn from Rahul because one day the business will be his.
Rahul tries to tell Tejaswani about Noyonika but circumstances keep stopping him. All he can say is that he is living a nightmare. Tejaswani assumes he is concerned because Noyonika knew about the broken engagement, but she explained everything to Suhas and he understood. But Tejaswani has to get back to work and K K Dhanraj called for a meeting. Meanwhile, Noyonika is trying to convince Suhas that Rahul is not the right man for Tejaswani, that he will hurt her as he hurt his other novia.
Noyonika calls Omaira and when she comes tells her the other woman is Tejaswani. Tejaswani worries about what Rahul said. Rahul talks with his friend.

RCTV, 7/2/00: Rahul (Ricardo lamo) lleg al retn de la clnica en busca de Tejaswani (Scarlet Ortiz), pero esta, en lo que lo vio se escap por la puerta trasera. Al darse cuenta de su huida, Rahul corri tras Tejaswani pero esta no quera hablar con l por nada del mundo. Finalmente, Tejaswani se escondi en una de las oficinas de la clnica y, cuando Rahul se dispona a entrar, se apareci Jaime (Roberto Moll), quien le prohibi que ingresara a ese lugar y le recomend que lo acompaara al laboratorio, pues si Tejaswani se encontraba en la clnica lo ms seguro es que estuviera en su lugar de trabajo. Al llegar al laboratorio, Jaime y Rahul lo encontraron vaco. Esta fue la mejor oportunidad para que Jaime le hablara a Rahul sobre Tejaswani y le exigiera que no le hiciera dao. Esta conducta le extra muchsimo a Rahul, pues para l Jaime es una persona desconocida que no tiene nada que ver con Tejaswani. Mientras tanto, Tejaswani ya haba llegado a la universidad; estaba en clase pero su mente se encontraba en otro lado. Al no poder dejar de pensar en todo lo que hasta ahora ha sucedido, Tejaswani decidi llenarse de valor y enfrentarse de una vez por todas con Rahul, as que decidi ir a su apartamento para saber para qu la ha estado buscando. Al mismo tiempo, Rahul llam a Noyonika (Roxana Daz) para hablar con ella y poner todos los puntos sobre las es. USA, 9/16/02 - Omeira refuses to help Noyonika get rid of her baby. Tejaswani thinks about Rahul's words, that his life has become a nightmare. Rahul talks with his friend Javier about his problem. JM and his son discuss what to do about Paulina. Shubhangi finds Montero's compliments uncomfortable and leaves the table. Jaime tells Delia he admires Tejaswani, she could be his daughter. Delia tells him she has parents; he says no, they died.
Rahul tells Tejaswani about him and Noyonika. She asks, hoping, if it were in the past. He tells her it was before he met her, but then admits it was just a month ago. She accuses him of having something against her brother, of doing this on purpose. Tejaswani runs away and Rahul stops her. He tells her that he had sex with her because she sought him out, that he is being honest with her. She runs off and gets into a taxi.
Noyonika searches for something in Tejaswani's bedroom and finds a locked box. She uses a hairpin to open the box and finds a series of photos: the ones they took when they spent the weekend together.
Suhas and Isabel review a map.
Shubhangi returns home, calls for Tejaswani and finds Noyonika in Tejaswani's room. Noyonika just has time to hide the pictures, tells Tejaswani she was looking for a book. Noyonika tells Shubhangi that Rahul isn't the man for Tejaswani, she knows that he is a "patan".
Tejaswani goes back to the clinic and into the arms of Jaime; Delia sees them embracing and misinterprets. He tries to get her to tell him what is wrong but she can't. She asks him if he has ever had a pain so great he couldn't tell anybody. He tells her he has. She asks him what to do. Then she decides: she'll just work and work.
Kunal smells alcohol on Shubhangi's breath and asks where she was. She tells him she went to a business dinner with other employees. They argue and he sounds like the typical abandoned housewife.
Rahul calls Tejaswani's house and Suhas answers. Rahul asks for Tejaswani and when Suhas tells him she isn't there, he asks to talk to him. Noyonika tries to tell him not to.
Delia accuses Tejaswani of trying to steal her husband and warns her to stay away from him.
Rahul arrives at Suhas's house, determined to tell him about Noyonika, mentions that he and Tejaswani are having problems. Suhas admits he knows about his past, that Noyonika told him about his novia. Suhas warns him that Tejaswani is fragile, doesn't want her to be hurt. Rahul assures him that he never loved Tara, does love Tejaswani. But, of course, Rahul hems and haws and Noyonika arrives before he can tell Suhas the truth. And Suhas is so proud to tell him that he has no secrets from Noyonika, that she told him with the best intentions, that they are a very tight family, etc. that Rahul can't say anything. When Suhas finally shuts up and realizes that Rahul is more nervous than ever, he tries to understand. All Rahul will say is that he feels an enormous shame in front of him. He leaves. Suhas tells Noyonika that he and Tejaswani had argued about something that involved other people, is sure he wanted to tell him something more. Later, Shubhangi tells Suhas she doesn't understand what Noyonika has against Rahul.
Alvaro brings some papers for K K Dhanraj to sign. K K Dhanraj tells him that he is going to enjoy his liberty. Alvaro asks the maid Nuris if Sofia has called, learns that she hasn't.
Tejaswani tells Rubi what happened.

9/17/02 - Tejaswani tells Rubi about Rahul and Noyonika. Tejaswani doesn't know what to do , can't tell Suhas.
Anibal gambles and loses. Jorge Ignacio Montero recalls his meal with Shubhangi, her saying that being with him isn't right. Delia tells Jaime she doesn't want Tejaswani to work with him; he refuses her request. Anabel lets Tejaswani work with the newborns, without asking questions. Rahul finds Tejaswani in the clinic, but she runs away from him. Anabel tells Carmencita not to tell anybody that Tejaswani was working with her! Rahul finds her, but the door is locked. Jaime and Delia walk by, ask him what he is doing. Jaime asks Rahul what he did that makes it impossible for her to go home. Jaime asks him what right he has to destroy her life. Rahul tells him he loves her. Jaime tells him that isn't enough. Tejaswani escapes. At home, Suhas is worried: Tejaswani hasn't returned.
Anibal asks his father for an advance on his salary: un ao completo. K K Dhanraj laughs.
Rahul tells Javier how Tejaswani reacted to the news, is afraid he has lost her. Javier tells him that Noyonika has the most to lose, asks if Tejaswani knows about the baby. Rahul says no, and it can't be his because they were together only once. Maria Angel, the neighbor of Kunal, visits him again. Pedro Gutierrez meets with Anibal to sell air conditioning. Anibal tells him this could be a good business for both of them, assumes he understands. Elsa overhears them. Anibal tells Pedro to inflate his proposal's cost, for a cut of course. Suhas looks for Tejaswani in the clinic as does Jaime.
Tejaswani goes to Rahul's apartment building and sees Noyonika going inside.She assumes that Noyonika has been seeing Rahul regularly. Tejaswani sneaks past the guard into the building. Rahul asks Noyonika what kind of woman she is, has she no feelings? She tells him she wants everything. She tells him that he and Tejaswani live in a rose-colored world. He asks her what color her world is. Rahul tells Noyonika she won't break up him and Tejaswani. Noyonika threatens to tell Tejaswani the truth about them. Rahul tells her that Tejaswani knows. It, of course, takes forever for Tejaswani to arrive at his apartment. Noyonika promises him war. When she gets to the door, she hears shouts and walks away. When Noyonika leaves, Tejaswani hears her tell Rahul he and Tejaswani will never be happy. Tejaswani and Rahul both lean on his front door, desperate. She hears him call her name and leaves
Franicso picks up his final check. Francisco says goodbye to Adriana. Rubi goes to the house looking for Tejaswani. Shubhangi and Boris talk about her meal with Montero. Just then the secretary tells Shubhangi that Montero wants to see her. Suhas tells Vicente he doesn't understand what has happened between Rahul and Tejaswani.
Anibal complains to his father that Rahul hasn't arrived for work. Anibal tells him that he has taken care of the air conditioning, including the budget.

9/18/02 - Rahul's mother calls him, is worried. He tells her he just can't talk about it. Noyonika waits for Tejaswani in Jaime's lab; he senses that she is not good for his family.
Serpa returns from vacation, is surprised that Elvira was also on vacation. Elvira returns. Jaime tells Serpa he sent a sample to Atlanta, is almost sure it isn't yellow fever. Serpa is just worried about the cost.
Montero gives Shubhangi a new, important client.He doesn't understand how a person with her talent could have been happy as a housewife.
Francisco tells Beba he'd like to give her his books; a boat is waiting for him. Beba leaves when he starts to talk with affection about La Capitana.
Noyonika confronts Tejaswani when she arrives at the clinic. Noyonika tells Tejaswani that Rahul pursued her, that she fell for him. Tejaswani tells her she doesn't want details. Noyonika says she forgot; Tejaswani too was his woman, knows him as well as she. She tells Tejaswani that Rahul swore he loved her, that his novia was in the past. Tejaswani asks her what about Suhas. She says she did, but Rahul got tired of her and looked for another, asks if she is going to tell Suhas. Again, Tejaswani asks how she could do this to a man who loved her, gave her everything. Noyonika says she knows that, admits she made a mistake, but she is only a woman. Noyonika says she is what she is because of her childhood, she knows the dark side of life that Tejaswani never knew. Tejaswani tells her she doesn't know the man she is married to, doesn't know the pain in his life, tells her to leave.
Tejaswani tells Rubi about the conversation, says she never realized more how much hate is in Noyonika, she hates the whole world. Tejaswani tells she went to Rahul's apartment, saw her enter, heard him say he wouldn't give her up. Rubi tells her it happened before Rahul met her; Tejaswani says that's not the point.
Rahul warns Machado to be careful because Rahul is so correct. Machado mentions that Rahul is seeing a nurse in the clinic.
Tejaswani tells Jaime and then Delia that she will be leaving the clinic. She admits to Jaime that Delia talked to her and has the wrong opinion. She tells Delia she has no right to judge her wrongly. Suhas picks up Tejaswani, but she can't tell him the truth. Machado tells Anibal that Rahul loves a nurse.
Elsa tells Rahul about Anibal's deal to rip off the company. Rahul gets the original contract and tells K K Dhanraj, with Anibal present. After Rahul leaves, K K Dhanraj hits Anibal, tells him it isn't a question of morality but competence. He also makes it clear that Rahul is just an employee who happens to know all the steps in the construction business as well as the computer systems. That's why he wanted Anibal to work with him. Finally, he asks Anibal how much he owes and to whom.
Noyonika asks Omeira to tell her if Tejaswani will tell Suhas, if he will leave her but doesn't like the answers and, it appears, Omeira hasn't told her the worst.

Rahul waits for Tejaswani outside her house; Suhas and Noyonika watch them from a window. Tejaswani refuses to talk to him, walks away. He follows in a car; she crosses the street. Suhas tells Noyonika he doesn't understand Beba or Tejaswani, asks her as a woman what could be bothering Tejaswani. Tejaswani gets on a bus to avoid Rahul. He drives by the bus, calls out that he loves her. He follows her to school and sits down next to her in class. She walks out of class and he follows. He tells her they have to talk of their love. She says it isn't enough. He kisses her and she kisses him back, then runs away again. She tells him he doesn't understand. A guard asks Rahul to leave the lady alone. He follows, ends up driving her home. She tells him there is nothing he can do. Finally she tells him Noyonika's story. He denies it, tells her that Noyonika isn't the woman she thinks she is. Tejaswani replies that she is her brother's woman, the mother of his child. Rahul tells Tejaswani his side of the story. Rahul suggests that they move to another city, another country.
Delia looks for Jaime, asks Rubi where Tejaswani is. Rubi tells her that Tejaswani is a decent girl she has known all her life, she should be glad to have her working in her husband's clinic. Delia finally ends up at Suhas's home, says she is looking for her husband. She talks to Kunal, sees the picture of Suhas's father and mother.
Alvaro Galindez introduces Anibal to Serpa, says they will be working together. Ral Serpa extends his hand, but Anibal doesn't take it. Ral tells Alvaro things have become more complicated. At the same time, K K Dhanraj is talking to two men about the same issue: the clinic.
Francisco talks with an older man on the bus. He thinks of Beba while she thinks of him. Mimi tells her she is in love. Francisco gets off the bus.
Noyonika and Suhas go to the doctor, have a sonagram. She and the baby are doing well.
Vicente sees Jaime at their business site but loses him.

9/20/02 - Rahul tells Tejaswani that she didn't choose Noyonika. Tejaswani says it doesn't matter, Suhas did. Then he asks her if she wants to let Noyonika destroy them, too. Tejaswani asks him if he was with Noyonika in his home. He says no, well, once when she got his address from the secretary. She goes up with him to his apartment. Up there, she tells him she doesn't know what to do, where to go. Rahul tells Tejaswani it is uncomfortable for him, too. He touches her, they kiss, she cries. She tells him she can't deny that she loves him. He tells her that is what is important. They make love. Afterwards, he asks her to come and live with him.
Delia goes to Tejaswani's home, sees the painting. Kunal entertains Delia, but she decides to leave. He asks her why she thought her husband would be there; she says she doesn't know. She gives him her name, Delia, and her husband's, Jaime Contreras. She doesn't leave a message.
Noyonika goes to Rahul's office, finds Elsa talking to another secretary, Jenny. She tells Elsa she has to see K K Dhanraj, knows what she is doing. Elsa announces Noyonika. She tells him that Rahul didn't leave Tara for her but for her cuada, a nurse, Tejaswani Estrada. He tells her he doesn't care. She is sure he does and repeats the name before she leaves.
Anibal sees Noyonika leave, asks his father about her but learns nothing. However, when he mentions the problem with the clinic, K K Dhanraj remembers his mentioning Rahul and a nurse and puts two and two together.
Vicente, back in his office, says "it was he". Suhas shows the sonagrams to the women in his office. When Vicente returns, he tries to find out why he is so nervous. Jaime calls Vicente, doesn't say his name, but talks in a threatening voice that Vicente doesn't understand. Vicente pulls out the old newspaper article about the car accident in which Suhas's father died. Vicente tells Suhas they have to exhume the body of his father. He reminds Suhas that the body was badly burned. It has taken 15 years to reconstruct the family. But Vicente tells him that the technology today will let them be sure that the cadaver was his father. Suhas insists that if his father were alive he would never have abandoned them.
Roberto hears that Francisco has gone away, figures he has Beba to himself. Meanwhile, Francisco is hitch-hiking back.
Delia returns to the lab, asks Jaime why he didn't return to the pueblo. He tells her he found his wife embracing Vicente, his best friend, finds the money he gave her. She denied everything, says it was a loan. She told him it was he who failed. He hit Angela and Suhas stopped him, he saw so much pain in the eyes of his son. Jaime tells her that he is what he is today because of her. She tells her he can't continue to hide, not just from his children, but from himself.
Noyonika tells Elsa everybody she will make them pay. Elsa tries to calm her down, tells her to be happy with her husband. She tells Elsa she knows what she has to do and leaves.
Montero finds Shubhangi asleep in her office with the presentation almost complete. He invites her for something to eat. She is uncomfortable. He tells her that nothing will happen between them that she doesn't want to happen, so there's nothing to worry about. Kunal meets Angela in the park where their children play. Kunal begins to suspect that Angela isn't happy in her marriage.
Mimi warns Roberto not to bother Beba anymore. She isn't afraid of him and the whole world will know what kind of person he is. Beba is clearly afraid, tells Mimi she is crazy, that Roberto was the one who knifed Francisco, who threatened her family. Mimi tells Beba she has to tell Suhas; Beba says he won't believe her.
Noyonika, as usual, manages to get into the apartment building. She buzzes Rahul but doesn't answer when he picks up. Guessing who it is, he leaves the apartment to intercept her. They argue in the lobby. She swears to him that the baby is his. She tells him that Tejaswani doesn't deserve more of life than she, that he will never get her out of his life, that the child will be part of her revenge. He drags her to the guard and tells him to never let her in again. Rahul returns to his apartment, lies to Tejaswani. Then she accepts his proposition.
Serpa and Jaime argue. Serpa says the lab is costing money and he has seen no results. Serpa gives him the letter from Atlanta. It isn't yellow fever; it is a new virus.
Beba and Mimi go to Suhas's office and, for the first time, Beba reads the article about her father's death.

Rahul le propuso a Tejaswani quese fuera a vivir con l a su apartamento, y para hacerlo legal hasta se podancasar. Mientras tanto, Noyonika (Rosana Daz) se encarg de repetirle aK K Dhanraj (Manuel Salazar) el nombre de la verdadera mujer que separ aRahul de Tara (Marlene Andrade) para promover que ste sea sualiado para separar a Tejaswani de Rahul. Al mismo tiempo, Jaime (RobertoMoll) dio sus primeras seales de vida al llamar a Vicente (Antonio Cuevas).Aunque Jaime no se atrevi a identificarse como Jacinto, Vicente reconocisu voz, y para confirmar su sospecha pidi a Suhas (Kunal Cruz) queexhumaran el cadver de su padre, causando gran molestia en Suhas, puespiensa que su padre nunca los hubiera dejado solos si estuviera vivo.
RCTV, 7/16/00: Tejaswani (Scarlet Ortiz), muy sorprendida por la idea de casarse en apenas un da, no dej de preocuparse por el hecho de tener que invitar a su familia a una fiesta sorpresa que finalmente ser su matrimonio. Sin embargo, al saber que Rahul (Ricardo lamo) ya tena todo listo para la boda, acept aunque sin dejar de lamentar que por culpa de Noyonika (Roxana Daz) tuvo que planear su felicidad a escondidas de la familia. Entretanto, el trabajo especial que est haciendo Suhas (Kunal Curz) en la galera de Isabel (Mirela Mendoza) lo acerca ms a ella, mientras lo aleja de Noyonika, a quien reconoce como "la madre de su hijo", cuando antes la vea como "su todo". 2nd hour - Suhas and Noyonika go out to dinner. From another table, K K Dhanraj toasts them.
Francisco tells Beba she is too young. She tells him she is 15. He tells her he wishes she were 20. She says "like your capitana?". He tells her he doesn't want to hurt her; she tells him she is tired of people trying to protect her. Shubhangi finds Francisco talking to Beba outside and tells him that in their home, young men come inside. Once inside, Tejaswani tries to tell Shubhangi that Francisco is a good person, but Shubhangi is sure something must be wrong with him if Suhas doesn't like him.
Dalia talks with Jaime, is afraid that she isn't as pretty as Angela. Jaime tells her he never realized that Vicente was in love with Angela. Then he asks her how she knows that Angela was pretty. She tells him she saw her picture, has been to the home of her children.
Anibal tries to find out more about the nurse that Rahul is seeing.

USA, 9/24/02 - hour 1 - Tejaswani confronts Delia about her visit to her house, says she doesn't know how to respect her husband, doesn't she know that she (Tejaswani) loves him like a father. Delia asks for the chance to explain why she is involved with her life; Jaime interrupts the conversation. Delia stops and just asks Delia to forgive her. Vicente investigates what is needed for an exhumation and a forensic examination. Vicente tries to jsutify to Suhas why the body is his father's grave may not be his father. For Suhas, the problem is that if his father weren't dad, he'd be with them. Roberto tells his companions that they have to give a lesson to Mimi. Jaime talks to Tejaswani about the fact that it is a new virus. They try to get Serpa to pay attention but he won't. Beba visits Francisco in his old room, where not even his aunt knows he is. She asks him not to leave. K K Dhanraj is upset because Rahul is going to marry Tejaswani in the club that he and his family belong to. Anibal tells Serpa they are going to destroy part of the structure so Serpa can say that the clinic can't be saved.
2nd hour - Tejaswani tells Rubi about her meeting with Delia, that she apologized to her, told her there was a truth about her and brother but stopped when Jaime appeared. Rubi tells her she is imagining things.
Isabel congratulates Suhas on his work, tells him he reminds her of a man from another time. She gives something to eat, talks a bit more, tells him she hopes his wife appreciates him.
Omaira gives Noyonika some herbs, says she will need them to handle some hard news she will be getting about her cuada.
Tejaswani stops Anibal from going into the lab, grabs her arm and won't let her go, says he wants to talk with her. When Jaime exits the lab and sees them, he leaves but tells her he will be back.
Rahul shows Javier the ring he is going to give Tejaswani but is worried because Tara and her mother are returning the next day. And Tejaswani doesn't know they are getting married tomorrow.
Shubhangi can't forget the voice on the phone: Shubhangi, eres tu? Montero interrupts her thoughts to tell her that her presentation is prefect and they will give it to the client tomorrow. She thinks that is too soon, would like to give more time to reconsider, but he tells her it isn't necessary, then says she is the best thing that has ever happened to him. After he leaves, she thinks that he is the worst.
Serpa doesn't know what to do. Solis is determined to get rid of the clinic, will kill him if necessary.
Francisco gets on the bus to Isla Plata. Beba asks an agent how she can get there and how much it will cost.
Roberto points out Mimi to Frank. Frank introduces himself to her, says he knows that she is a friend of Beba's, asks if they can be friends. She says yes. He invites her for a cine or an ice cream. She tells him she can't because she is going on a camping trip, can do it when she gets back. Francisco tells Roberto she is going to Montaa ?. Roberto says they are all going.
Kunal goes to Shubhangi's office but discovers there is nobody there with that last name. Shubhangi greets him and the twins and he discovers that she used the last name Estrada. In her office, he hears a call from the art director "querida". Shubhangi leaves for a moment and Montero enters. They introduce each other. Montero tells her that she is the most important person in the business, can't imagine her spending all day at home, something anybody could do. Montero assures him that few men could do what he does, take care of the children so his wife could work. Shubhangi returns to the office with Boris and one of her twins, introduces Boris to Kunal. As Shubhangi goes out with Kunal, she asks him to tell her first before coming to the office. Boris guesses that Montero doesn't much like Shubhangi's husband.
Anibal arrives at Isabel's studio and sees Suhas. She asks Suhas to stay as Anibal sort of drags her out. Isabel tells Anibal she doesn't have to give explanations to him. Suhas hears her telling him not to touch her. Suhas enters the other room and tells Anibal to leave her alone. Isabel begs Anibal to leave. Suhas tells Isabel he will take care of matters. Isabel tells Anibal she will call the police if he doesn't leave. Anibal threatens Suhas and leaves. Suhas says he is sorry; Isabel thanks him and goes to his arms.
Rahul picks up Tejaswani, takes her to a quieter place, parks by a park. He tells her they are going to get married tomorrow, that they not tell her family, just invite them to a fiesta and surprise them. He doesn't want to give Noyonika a chance to separate them.
Noyonika burns all the pictures of Rahul and Tejaswani.

USA, 9/25/02 - Isabel thanks Suhas, tells him she once she thought she was in love with Anibal, but realized that she was in love with an image, not the real person. Beba resigns her job and goes to the lab to see Tejaswani. There she accidentally pushes the blood vial, with the infected blood, off the counter, cleans it up, cuts her finger and sucks it.
Tejaswani tells the nurses and some friends about the "surprise" marriage, begs them to keep it a secret. Delia overhears and tells Jaime. Tara and her mother arrive home and Anibal tells Tara that Rahul is getting married today, ends up driving her to the club where she is prepared to make a scene. Meanwhile, in Tejaswani's house, Noyonika is trying to find out what the family meeting at the club is all about and, after failing to get answers from Rubi or anybody else, decides to call the club.
Rahul's mother arrives at his apartment; she's changed her mind and will attend his wedding.
Beba says goodbye to Tejaswani, is pretending to go on the camping trip with Mimi and her other classmates. Suhas insists on driving her there but she manages to shake him at the bus, says goodbye to Mimi, and heads for the bus station with Bethoven.

9/26/02 - Jaime tells Serpa about the broken vial and fingerprints; somebody in the clinic has been infected. La Capitano makes a deal with Francisco; he will take care of the boat and the house while she is away.
Beba goes to the island sees Francisco embracing La Capitana (a goodbye) and misinterprets. But Bethoven escapes from her and goes to him so he discovers that she is there. She tells him she is returning the cat because she doesn't want anything that belongs to him. He tries to make her stay, at least for the night for her safety, but she refuses.
Jaime gives Tejaswani a medallion as a wedding gift. At the club, Tara creates a scandal, but Anibal finally gets her away. When Tejaswani announces the real reason for the dinner, Noyonika tells Suhas he can't permit it. He is upset by the speed, but gives his blessing.Lots of things happen to prevent the wedding from taking place, especially the absence of Shubhangi. Then Noyonika fights with Tejaswani and pushes her in the pool.
In the clinic, they feel what seems to be an earthquake. But it is Anibal's men doing the structural damage he planned.

9/27/02 - Noyonika tells Tejaswani that the baby she is expecting is Rahul's, that she always used contraceptives with Suhas but didn't with Rahul, told him as soon as she got the pregnancy results, plans to prove his paternity at six months and, if she doesn't leave Rahul, she will tell Suhas and Tejaswani knows that will destroy him.
Noyonika denies to Rahul that she saw Tejaswani and Suhas arrives before he can deman an answer; Noyonika pretends she fell in the pool due to a faint. Everybody looks for Tejaswani. The judge leaves and the wedding is called off.
At the clinic everybody thinks there was an earthquake. K K Dhanraj, Alvaro and Anibal get Serpa's call that all went well.
Jaime takes Tejaswani home, looks at the photos, remembers. Tejaswani finds him crying; he explains that he had some children, lost them long ago. When the family arrives home, Tejaswani and her clothes are gone, to the delight of Noyonika. Jaime takes Tejaswani to his home. When she wakes the next morning, she hears Delia and Jaime talking about the situation in the jungle, the epidemic is expanding. He can't go there because he has to help find the vaccine; Delia offers to go in his stead. Tejaswani asks for the opportunity to go. She admits she wants to escape, but if she doesn't go to the jungle, she will go elsewhere. He agrees. She admits that she is going away to save the happiness of her brother, who is the most sacred to her, who has been like a father to her.
Beba wakes up on Francisco's yacht. He finally discovers that Beba saw him with La Capitana but doesn't explain.
An inspector comes to the clinic to check the damage and discover the cause.
