I am hoping they keep wildcard round soon for some contestants

I absolutely loved this episode!! Kavita's presence elevated the essence of the episode!! I loved her, everytime she sang and her back story that of Hawa Hawaii, and her utmost humility!! It felt like a complete tribute to Sridevi by celebrating her songs with the voice of Sridevi herself, as rightfully said by Shankar.

Coming to the performances, Hemant, Vishnumaya and Zaid were my top favorites. Especially the two kids, I wanted to give them a tight hug after their performances, they were in full character and did complete justice to the songs, far beyond my expectations.

Vishnumaya - First of all, I simply love all her intros, she cracks me up everytime. I was so glad when she came dressed up as Hawa Hawaii, I was like god pls I hope she is singing this song, I really want to hear her sing this. And she sang it amazingly well, the best Hawa Hawaii rendition I heard from any contestant in a singing show. I love this girl, the best female voice in the show!!

Zaid - This little boy is a favorite of all. I loved seeing how fond everyone is of him. I was little worried when he started the song, I was wondering how will he pull it off. But he sang so well, with all his crazy harkatein, my mind was blown. I loved his intro too, extremely cute.

Hemant - Another mindblowing performance!! Rightfully said by Shankar, he is crazy, the way his voice just flows in difficult notes is mind boggling. I also liked his song with Kavita later, liked it more than his actual performance. He is an absolute bet for winning the show.

The rest of the performances were just ok, with Afreen group being a little better than the rest. Shashank has a melodious voice but I somehow find his performances forgettable, sounds the same everytime. Sagar and Dr. were the weakest. I thought Dr. would leave but I did not expect Sagar to perform so bad. I knew he may get lucky again coz Sagar's score was already low. Diljit maybe thought the Dr would leave hence he gave all the bhashan of him going back to his profession lol.. Dr's 'I love you' was the only good part of his performance lol..

shashank should stop putting up melodrama about his wife, he does this all the time and it is so annoying,atleast perform well and then show this drama,his performances are always mediocre.

vishnumaya n zaid were the best performers, its just amazing to see the younger onez perform so well.

So i will give my two cents as well 😛

Loved loved loved sundays episode. It was so good, the performances, the song selections and Kavita and all the judges giving the tributes.

To the performances

Hemant Brijwasi- He is something else. He is such an amazing singer with a powerful voice and so versatile!!! I have no idea how he does it but every time I watch his performances they give me goosebumps. And yesterday was the same! Amazing. Definitely a finalist and possibly the winner with a little luck. (4.75/5)

Zaid- This kid has a voice of an angel. He gets better and better with every peroformance. and yesterdays Khuda Ghava was the prove. I see him in the finals as well. (4.5/5)

Vishnumaya- She has one of the most beautiful voices ever and I am so happy she sang Hawa Hawai yesterday. She sang it very beautifully and effortlessly. Even she should be a finalist and most probbably will. (4/5)

Afreen Group- Not a big fan of them to be honest because I feel they sound the same all the time. It was a good performace though. (3/5)

Shashank- To be honest I don't really like his singing. It never really impressed me. But he must be in sur because the judges always vote for him. so what can I say. ... I have to agree with shaztea that the melodrama with his family is getting annoying. (2/5)

The Doctor aka Sudeep- Yes he is definitely the lucky guy haha. I won't be surprised seeing him in the finale because his luck is that big haha. 😃 But on a serious note, his performance yesterday was not bad. He chose a fairly easy song and did justice to it. Defintely better than Sagar. (2/5)

Sagar- I was never quite impressed by his singing and yesterday was the same. He deserved to be elimiated. Though felt quite bad for him and his students. (1/5)

I agree with some users that the Duets round really messed up some things in the show. We really lost some awesome singers like Raenit, Chetan and two little boys. I really hope there is a Wildcard entry round.

Best episode this season filled with wonderful performances👏 .

Vishnumaya surprised me with how well she sang sree's iconic hawahawai that too in front of kavita ji herself👍🏼 ..Loved her singing but iam really bored of her thangabally acting every week...Seriously ,kerala people don't talk like that..

Zaid seemed nervous initially,kept eyeing the voting meter then sang beautifully,ending with the supremely confident khuda aalap👍🏼 ..Very talented kid,Its amazing to see a 10 year old kid toying with a classic song with his own harketen-he did the same even on om shanti om show..

Hemant was perfect as usual⭐️ ,although i have never heard the song he chose..He was even better in albela sajan aayo with kavitaji...kavitaji's voice has aged a lot,🤔felt brijwasi put her in a spot..He is amazing singer but with other guest singers too he tries to show off a bit..

Chetan has improved a lot from the earlier episodes ,gave a good performance but he isn't amongst top contenders on this show...And getting his wife and kid on stage every episode is getting very irritating ..

Dr Dr lucky doctor😆 ..he forgets lines yet he manages to stay on the show while talented rainit singh with over 90% votes is out..Sudip is an just an ok singer,🤔even the judges seem to know that but the channel keeps promoting whoever they think will bring trps with their unique backstory..

Same thing with sagar mhatre, colors promoted him too much by sending host ravi to bring him on show but his performances have been average to disappointing ..

Afreen group -enjoyable singing -but i don't like the idea of solo singers competing with group singers..

I am late guys 😳

1) Afreen group - Just an okayish performance , could be far better .they dont have sync or harmony like harmony chorus.. though i love how they play instruments but their all songs sounds same 😕 .. m not liking them much bcz i could hardly understand what they are singing.. they miss connect..

2) Shashank - very very average singer , i dont know how all judges gave him green , his surs were very off and almost he sang on jaya level yesterday,,, his wife and kids coming is annoying too.. He needs to go soon.

3) Zaid - I love him 😳 i wont be lieing if i say m watching show for him .. he is just too cute .. n m surprised how a kid sings like this, hope he goes far.

4) Vishnumaya - Very confident girl! though her thangabali is annoying now 🥱 but she is an awesome singer ❤️ i wont mind if she wins... she did variety of songs from jiya jale to samjhavan to hawa hawai..

5) Hemant - His technicalities may be perfect but he is very overconfident so thats a put off and tbh i dont find him that good as i dont know music in deep.. as a layman i will judge on connect level wd me that hemant fails... he is overrated .. i wont be happy if he wins..

6) Doctor - man i wont forgive him 😡 for ruining that wonderful song!! just too bad.. why judges give him green again and they were too harsh on sagar while for me both were on same level ..

7) Sagar - M feeling bad for him , he could not even get comments from judges on where he lacks , i guess bcz she spoke against shankar that mere dil ko chubhi wo baat.. they did same with raman kapoor too who raises doubt on marking power of judges.. judges are soo partial this time.. they need to get new judges 😕 sagar deserved to stay over doctor..

I feel like the Judges didnt like Sagar from the beginning, they were always discouraging him eventhough his singing was ok compared to others.

Hello pjyo-- good to see you here. Remember you from the Indian Idol forum and our mutual indignation at Shravan's exit! 😃

I do agree that Vishnumaya's thangabali act is very annoying. It's obvious the channel is asking her to do that every week and I find it quite offensive actually. Just because she cannot speak Hindi they stereotype her and make a mockery of South Indians? Why?

The usual sob story saga occurs in every reality show. They show Hemant's father shedding copious tears every time his son performs , Shashank brings in his wife and kid every week, Jaya has become the role model for all housewives across India 🤪. That's why the quiet ones like Sagar are shown the back door. Why didn't they keep Rainit then? - his hearing loss could've been milked for TRPs.😕

The judges do seem biased and that's a sad thing, since the judges' votes collectively counts for 15% and having them biased brings in an unfairness to the whole thing. Even assuming the public voting is not rigged and is all aboveboard, audiences are bound to be influenced by the judges voting.

The duels round is pretty flawed, it's a shame Rainit had to leave when less talented singers like Sudeep get to stay on. I remember in Season 1 also there was a very good singer who had to compete with Bannet Dosanjh in the duels and he lost out because Bannet was ahead by a few decimal points! 😲 Totally stupid format! 👎🏼. Last season they didn't have any wild card system where they brought in singers that were ousted, so not sure if the 2 little kids, the Nigam brothers or Rainit have a chance of being back.

I don't live in India and watch online, so I usually forward all the drama bits 😃 and go straight to the performances. But this time I watched the whole thing because I wanted to hear what they said about Sridevi. Disappointingly - apart from she was a great lady and a phenomenal star across generations- I didn't get to hear much.
