Actors protest, leap cancelled!

Actors threatened to walk out of a show when the makers announced their decision to introduce a time leap. We are talking about the serial Rishton Se Badi Pratha on Colors where all this drama happened.

Incidentally, a leap was always a part of the plan, but the lead actors Shalini Chandran and Vishal Karwal along with the remaining cast weren't happy with the idea. They felt it was too early to introduce a leap and were completely against it.

Says a source, "As per the original story, the protagonist was to give birth to a daughter who was to be swapped with the driver's son. A leap was to be introduced here. But after the actors protested and threatened to quit, the makers decided to do away with the leap. Hence, the entire story was scrapped and as per the changes, the protagonist suffered a miscarriage." This is great news, we must say, for actors considering that they hardly have any say in their serials in the current telly scenario.
