I m totally fine with Aarav hving shades of grey ...

But my only issue is the way he dumped Aru for just a slap ... if I m not wrong , he is angry on his father for dumping his wife and marrying his sister-in-law .. but dint he do something similar by dumping Aru and then sleeping around with other girls 😕 .. if he himself went through that pain of seeing his father dumping his wife .. how can he give same pain to another girl ??

I understand he has turned bitter and egoistic but going to this extent with Aru when he knows the pain it brings to a girl especially after seeing his mother's condition ,is something I m not able to understand

I feel CVs should hv given a different reason for the whole revenge thing ... just one slap looks silly ..

@bold - I thought the same thing too. Isn't he doing what his father did - throwing out a loving wife? How can he hate his father now? 😊

I am fine with shades of gray as that is what makes this show worth watching. It is the constant in-your-face-reminder, that Aarav is not all bad, is the annoying part. We know he is not bad, but right now is not the time to show all his internal conflicts in my opinion. Takes away the impact of the revenge drama.

True ,.. Sympathy should b felt for the character naturally and not forcefully .. right now they r forcing those outburst scenes of Aarav for a forced sympathy but we cannot feel anything because of the way he treated Aru for no real fault of hers ,...

Having a bad childhood does not mean u go around punishing other innocent souls ...

One interesting bit here is I feel Aarav hates attachments and so wants to evoke hatred in other's heart for him .. he wants Aru or anyone for that matter to hate him , so that he dont get attached to that person because he was attached to his mom but he lost his mom and could not really come out of that shock .. he wants Aru to abort the baby asap because baby will mean attachment for him which he dont want ..

@BOLD We need someone to show him the mirror as he seriously needs it... due to lot of misconception.
But if you say that only for a slap he went too long I agree still I will say that Arundhati should never believes him that much...

this may be the one reason why aarav wants aru to abort the baby soon becoz he dont want to give same sorrow and pain to his baby which he has undergone. thats why in yesterday epi he was saying to his father repeatedly to call aru and ask her to abort the baby. As of now for aarav that baby is just a piece of flesh but after few time it will start beating his heart. from my pov aarav dont want to develop any heart to heart connection with the baby

Actually in flashback they did show that Aru dint trust him at once .. he first came to her father to convince him for marriage and later he even sends his parents to Aru's house for marriage proposal ... after this only when Aru's father asked her to give another chance to Aarav , she started getting friendly with him .. so in this case I cant blame her for trusting Aarav especially after the way he approached her or her parents ... any girl will fall for it

Yes he did look desperate for Aru to abort the baby because he fears attachment ..

Aru dint really demand Aarav to marry her or give name to the baby .. she was ready to take responsibility of the baby on her own .. then why Aarav is so desperate to aboort the baby .. its obvious that he knows if baby comes in this world , he wont b able to hold himself back from meeting or loving the baby ... so he dont want the baby at all ...

Actually a slap is also fine for some kind of revenge to a certain extend but the fact that he is in pain because his father dumped his mother and he does the same thing its no longer revenge its an idiots mind someone that is full of ego , when he dumped and humilated Aru I had thought that there is some deep dark secret .
