What a great post Shruthi.

I must say this forum has some really talented writers.

As you so acutely observed, Satrupa used her threat of killing Avdoot first, when it should have been the last thing she should have done. I think in normal circumstances she would have gathered more evidence before attacking Pujan but this time Vatsalya was involved and so she took a rash decision instead of thinking things through.

Satrupa viewed Pujan as she did herself. She wrongly assumed that Pujan would put his love for his child above everything else. But she was wrong. She underestimated Pujan's greed.

And Pujan also knows Satrupa's weakness. He knows that as strong as she is, she is vulnerable when it comes to her love for the children. He knew she would never go through with killing Avdoot.

Narotham is such an interesting character. I started off feeling sorry for himself in the initial episodes but he's proved that he has his own agenda too. Whether he will help Anami or be another obstruction for her will be interesting to watch.

@whispa I had said in another post also, you see in others your reflection. If your child is in risk you will tell truth or you will go any extend to protect your child, that's the mother Satrupa. She thought Pujan will be that. But he was not. He just exploited the mother Satrupa. Pujan can be defeated only by a man who can give him reply in his language. But for that he has to be exposed first. Currently he has a cloak of caring chachu/mamu whatever with which he is hiding the intentions.
Narotham has agenda that is clear. Now where he will stand with respect to Anami is still a guess work

@vidya I dont want such crazy fandom, never in life. I would say if my fans feel like doing palaabhishekham, please go and feed hungry children and immolating it can never be my fan, because I love life so much.

Brilliant analysis as usual Shruthi. 👏
Agree with everything you said.
As Navyakavya said, I too look forward for your post everyday. You earned an another fan in me.

Though the makers showed the most natural response from Satrupa the mother yesterday, but Satrupa's fan in me was tad bit disappointed that Pujan won so easily. You are right, Pujan knows her so well, that he exploited her weak point.

Another lovely write-up by you Shruti. 👏👏

I still have a feeling that Pujan was not lying when he said he donot know how Vatsalya was killed. Agree with the attempt he made, which is equally not spared for, but he might not be the reason behind Vatsalya's murder. It could be the case, but i feel Narottam might be the culprit behind what happened to Vatsalya.

@Mimosa what I like most about the show is that no character in this show is perfect. They all have human flaws and to great extend they are humans and that includes Pujan also. Also so far I hav not seen any character who claims to be God or Mahanta ki moorat. And that makes the show a very interesting watch
@sweetz I am open to that possibility. Actually I have not watched initial 10-12 episodes, so it is based on written updates on what conspired there I am analyzing.

Word!
All the characters are humane here. Flawed and excelling in their grey shades. That's the USP of the show. And that's what connects us so easily to this magnificence of this show.

Satrupa really thought everyone feels for their children like she does but she's wrong and I must say pujan played her really well. He played with the emotions of a mother and it worked in his favor. And I'd say he might've won her trust as well. Now she really has to watch her back because pujan definitely won't stay quiet after what she did to Avdhoot.

yes tehreem I guess to some extend Pujan has been successful to deflect her doubt onto Narotham as well as Adhiraj. Satrupa may not trust him completely but yaa she is pushed to defensive mode with him now. Pujan will play for sure.

Although I loved the scene that showed one of the faces of Satrupa this was a mother in grief that was in action rather than CEO of Royal Steel showing she too is as human as others or is it that she just wants to see what Pujan does because she tried to step on the snake's head?

Pujan is not going sit quite. He will hit back and this time she may have her eyes open? I don't think Pujan gambled. He was ready to sacrifice his son before by giving him away and yet again today by letting him die. Either he is too smart or his aim for Royal Steel is clear. He wants Royal Steel by hook or crook.

At this point and time we have three main characters that are shown blind. Satrupa - Blinded by her rage, mamta, power, trusting Pujan (For now)

Pujan - Blinded by his quest of Royal Steel

Aadhiraaj - Blinded by his power that he can go in and out of lal mahal as and when he please like a public garden along with him being sure that Anami is not their heir.

So out of all these three who is the real Dhritrashtra?
