As a son, and Vatsalya's father- I give him full marks. Why would he agree to adopt a donkey, if he was not a good son? He may not agree with his father, but he seems to have obeyed him.

Chick comparing the fathers 😆 as fathers in their role is all that I wrote about!!
I'll not judge them as individuals because circumstances were too different and the individual character traits too differ.

Satrupa Baldev started out on the wrong note and they're continuing to continue in the mess yesterday too a dadiji had to interfere and ask them to behave 😆 I almost saw them as the young married couple who started out young forcefully made to enter the marriage their young heart and matters of heart were never dealt with they're still stuck in a time wrap it'll be really good to see a broken relationship being rebuilt!!

Baldev was judged for his mistake though it's too early to say who's wrong and who's right fact is he sees himself as the wronged one! His relationship broke with his father though he's still obedient to him with respect to decisions of the house as if he doesn't want to break up the family otherwise why'll he agree to the old man's ridiculous demand to adopt The dumb avdoot as his heir 😆
I guess He somewhere doesn't want to be the reason of grief to his parents. He messed up once and he's still paying the price

Madhu and Murari relationship is not only simple but pure though not sophisticated nor educated their relationship foundation is trust honesty! That's the recipe for their success Murari Pathak in the flashbacks insisted anami know the truth it was such a beautifully written scene a man of integrity he will not compromise on his values. The truth of their relationship with anami is what actually cemented their bond had Madhu lied and Murari kept quiet anami would have been in a happy bubble but her life would have been a lie! Pathaks have given her an identity as Anami Pathak daughter of Madhu and Murari Pathak that truth is real and it's not based on a lie but on the truth that some relationships are formed by destiny DNA has no role!!

Btw had they ever indicated Sudha is Narottam's mother 😳

Poignantly beautiful title Soup!👏

I missed this epi.
Am yet to catch up on Vatsalya's scenes. I hope he has only gone missing and resurfaces later.
I saw the scene where Narotam asserts himself to go with the family for Vats' birthday and Baldev sends him off to his room and how Vatsalya supported him.
Looked like the only child Baldev loved is taken away from him and he disowned the two that are in front of his eyes.
I might be totally off-tangent here, imo, Vats' arty side is from Baldev and may be BD wasn't a useless playboy as portrayed by his father.May be someone who loved dance a little too much
It's interesting the way he treats Narotam. Certainly not the way any man would treat a child, if he had loved his mother even an iota.
I'm curious to see whether BD will change his feelings for Anami once she is proved as his or will he treat her like Narotam?

It's interesting Anami doesn't call Pagli Pandhityan Maa and puts her above that.May be someday Satrupa will reach that place.

They have never indicated Sudha is Narottam's mother. Nor have they indicated she is connected to Baldev. It can also be that Narottam's mother is dead...let us see.😉

Even I loved how Dadi intervened...😆

What you wrote on the Pathaks-👏

Thanks, Sim.🤗

This is an epi not to be missed. Please watch it.
Vatsalya has written his own eulogy...no point expecting a miracle.
I feel Baldev will connect with Anami soon...as soon as she allows him near her, that is. This is his only girl child...Fathers are so possessive about their daughters.😉

Satrupa- there is a lot she has to sacrifice, if she has to reach that place where Pagli Panditayin is.

Baldev and Narottam...I think he is just put off by the feminine side. If he was shown to him as a proper boy, he wouldn't have much of a problem. Someone dressed Narottam up, so Baldev can't take a second look at that child.

@Soup- Is Vatsalya really dead? 😕
I was really hoping to watch the twins interacting ,will be different from the wicked identical twin fare we get served on iTv.

Poor Narotam, he's forced to being a cross-dresser?

Ok, BD just has to catch him speeding on his bike wearing his black jacket. He wasn't feminine at all.😆

Along with Satrupa- Anamis struggle i would also like to see a father's struggle to learn to love his surviving weird children un-condtionally. I think that's where Anam's experience with the Pathaks' will help the Lal mahalwalas.

Yes, Vatsalya is really dead. He knew his time was limited in this world...he used to feel he didn't belong to this world at all. So, he is gone...but he wouldn't have you believe he is gone. He is not so insignificant that one should believe he is gone..He lives on...

Will get that poem down for you, if I can.

I want BD to connect to both his weird children too.😃

@bold again, I see this as a sign of weakness. You see he dint have it in him to support Sudha and Narottam. And he definitely dint think twice before marrying Satrupa and banishing Sudha from his life even after Narottam was taken away. And I think this is why Vikram very intelligently lured him away from Royal Steel and brought in Satrupa.
