You pinpointed exactly where Baldev is coming from ... yes, he made a mistake in his youth ... as do many rich spoiled young men. Should he be punished for that the rest of his life?

Yet for Satrupa, that mistake was compounded by a huge deceit which governed her life ... she was married off at the young age of 17 to a man who was already a father of an illegitimate child, and worse, she was not even told about this before her marriage. So she is right to be bitter. Added to which, she is probably smarter and sharper than Baldev, so it was easy for his father to give her the responsibilities and power which Baldev felt were his right because of birth ... but which probably had done nothing really to earn.

Yet there must have been a time they were close ... Satrupa had two sets of twins after all.

So what brought them close? What drove them apart again? Baldev said Vatsalya tried for 7 years to bring them together ... something more happened ten years ago?

I'm waiting for their story to unfold along with the rest ... it is fascinating!

Your right that they should give their relationship a second chance but only when they are both ready for it. Clearly there are very hard and hurtful feelings that they both harbour against each other. But I feel that Satrupa knows deep down one day Baldev will turn around and stand up for his daughter. He will, its crystal clear. It may take a while for him to come around but he will.

Their relationship started off from a lot of deceptions. Baldev's family hid the biggest truth from her about Baldev. She may have fostered that for years and made herself busy in running the empire.

Their equation will change yet again when Sudha enters their life. It will test their marriage and their resolve to make it work or break it. They are as real as they come and I hope the writers do justice to their marriage equation!

Vatsalya was the force binding them. I don't know if they love each other or ever loved the other. Both of them had suppressed their resentment towards the other and carried on being father and mother to Vatsalya. When Vatsalya died, all the resentment held within came to the fore and that is all that remains between them now.

Even if Baldev finds out Anami's truth, all is not going to be well in their relationship. Baldev would definitely feel cheated. Probably their love for Vatsalya was stronger than their resentment. Maybe that is how the relationship survived this long.

A very sensible and level headed peek into the lives of the couple who seem broken on the surface. Satrupa- Baldev, two sides of the same coin, who are very opposite to each other in terms of who they are but deep down have the same fear as the other, the fear of being abandoned and banished from the lives of their loved ones. And with the loved ones, first and foremost, falls the two of them both, for each other, anyhow and forever.

Ah Soup, this was a wonderfully done write up for the two souls who seek each other;s acceptance out even in a room full of people. They seem to be distorted and aloof, but the point to note is that they cant do without each other.

Satrupa, seeks Baldev's acceptance towards their daughter Anami and her acceptance in their lives, while Baldev, goes beyond repair to hurt Satrupa, hurt and bruised with the fact that she dint have it in her to tell him about the child she abandoned years back. Yet, the two of them dont realise that its the bond that ties them to the other which brings them interspersedly to reach out to the other.

It is also interesting to see how Satrupa is the giver in the relationship while Baldev has been the receiver. However, with Anami walking into the picture the tables will turn and the roles too.

And besides everything else what remains is that the relationship did survive the test of time and reached a level where the two have been together for the last 17 odd years. So one thing that the makers have reinforced is that the relationship will be for keeps, forever.

Baldev and satrupa their relationship started out on a wrong note and both have been so entangled in their individual issues somewhere along the way other than fulfilling their duty of providing heirs to the kandan there was no attempt to come out of their own issues and to work on the relationship

17 years down the lane they are both still stuck where they started their relationship as a couple went onto become parents but the wounds have never been dealt with

What Vatsalya tried to do anami will carry it forward of bringing these two into a place of acceptance forgiveness and acknowledgement of each other

Baldev under all the bitterness did feel cheated when he thought satrupa was absent when he was bulldozed to sign adoption papers. Though he has issues with satrupa fact is he still knowingly or unknowingly allows her to affect him.

Satrupa the woman who was lied to made to enter a relationship where her husband's child from a previous relationship always has there to taunt her of the reality that it's been an illusion she's been living

The world looks at her as woman with power a ruthless woman who gets her ways but within herself she's trying to hide her pain of acceptance from a man who's her husband in name but who's hiding behind his issues
Why should she take the pain to try to make people understand her when they've already written her off as an emotionless power hungry woman

They don't see the 17 year old girl who was forced to be the woman who had been forced with the role of being the son to vikram because Baldev proved himself unfit .as impressive as it was to hear that she was considered as the son and not bahu of the family satrupa and the viewers saw the true face of The head of the family when the woman who was told that she's the son stepped out of the boundaries that were put down by the patriarchal society!!

This rishton Ki chakravuyh is indeed one brilliant show and I hope the makers give excellent episodes in the coming weeks 😃
