Again an episode that just deserved a separate review!

The beginning was quick and fast. This is one thing I'm loving about this show. The CVs aren't doing the typical "kya, kya, kya", grey-faced Dadaji, double take on Baldev, etc. They move quickly.

I love how Satrupa stops Dadaji and then looks at Guruji. It wasn't just a question. It was a glance for moral support to ensure that Guruji would support her in her endeavour to bring out the truth.

But what was really symbolic in this scene is how Baldev was separate from the whole event until he sees Anami. Then, involuntarily, he starts walking downstairs as Anami walks to the forefront. In the future, I can see Baldev and Anami sharing a tight bond because for Baldev he has found another child and another reason to live, while Anami will hopefully find that one anchor in a whirlpool of relations. Then throughout those few moments in the scene before anyone spoke Baldev's eyes are only on Anami. I get that everyone else's eyes were on Anami as well, but they were looking at Satrupa more than Anami. But Baldev almost never glanced away.

Hehe. Pujan played smartly even in this scenario. He went straight for the link that he knew he could sway easily. Baldev hates Satrupa. He is disowned from the family. His only way to get into Dadaji's good books right now is to do as Dadaji says. And that's why Pujan targeted him the moment the truth came out because if Baldev signs the adoption papers then Satrupa can't do anything.

I like that for the first time even Dadaji acknowledged that Satrupa wants only power, money, and status. He accepted that she can go to any extent for it. And while it may appear to be the wrong time for it, it's the perfect time. Only after Avdhoot was announced as the new heir did Satrupa decide to do anything or bring Anami. This can be seen as an obvious ploy to try to get the royal steels and anyone has a right to be skeptical in this scenario.

Baldev's one and only dialogue in this whole scene: Ek baap ko pata bhi nahi ke uski ek beti bhi hai. This dialogue was more powerful than the entire scene because it's the only dialogue that got Anami's attention. It's the dialogue that proves what I said above. That both are going to have a beautiful bond develop over time. And the tears brimming in both Anami and Baldev's eyes was the cherry on the cake. And the sincerity with which Ajay Chaudhary delivered that dialogue. Dayum man take a bow. You're like living and breathing the character of Baldev! I've never seen his shows before this, but now I wish to go back and watch the shows just for his roles!

Ooh I was waiting for Anami to speak. And she brought a true tsunami with her reaction to the entire scene. Loved it. After a war of words, all that was needed was a few actions and Anami was the one to bring them. Perfect. Just perfect. And then the challenge to Matlabi Mataji. What a name Anami has given Satrupa. High voltage drama time it is. You could almost see the wheels of Pujan's brain churning as Anami spoke.

A nice juxtaposition from a high voltage, loud scene in Lal Mahal to a quiet, but troubling scene at Sudha's place. The fear on Naina's face as she answered Sudha's question was a nice juxtaposition to Dammo's fear when she spoke up about the truth because here Naina fears her malkin, while Dammo fears the family. Sudha is such a complex character. She almost seems bipolar or schizophrenic. She is so unpredictable.

Precap: Baldev's anger is justified, but I hope slowly his heart melts as he realizes that Anami is really his daughter and I don't mean in the biological sense.

Very nice analysis😃
Loved the episode, i was waiting for anami's entry to lal mahal n i wasnt disappointed at all.
Liked anami's expression throughout😆 like she couldnt care less about what all the people in lal mahal thought about her😆. The only time she showed emotion n was teary eyed was for the dialogue baldev told. She was only affected by him. I think baldev maybe the only person she will not hate.
When in earlier episodes i saw flashbacks of vatsalya n baldev i always wanted to see bonding between anami and baldev, i m sure they will eventually form a beautiful bond n maybe he will prove to be the only saving grace for anami in the family full of twisted n money minded people.
Cant say the same about satrupa i just cant come to like her dont know why, i usually like grey characters. But whatever she did to anami she just comes out to be outright selfish and greedy for power. Cant blame baldev if he hates her. First she gives away her daughter for god knows what reason( in any case i dont find her reason justified, even if guruji told her to do that n i just couldnt sympathise with her story yesterday😕) then she doesnt even try to find if her daughter is alive or dead, then when her son dies n power is going away from her hands she remembers she had a daughter( that too guruji reminded her) and then makes a false case on the family who so lovingly took care of her daughter all these years n forcibly brings anami with her.
Dont want anami to forgive her anytime soon. Though anami is very strong, i feel so sad for her poor kid😭 no kid deserves to be snatched away from family this way😭 hopes she gives back to satrupa.

I think she will be princess of her father
Yesterday I loved the scene when baldev seen Anamika for the first time and came downstairs unknowingly and how lovingly he was watching his daughter all were talking about saris this that but his only focus was on the fact of knowing if anami is really his daughter he only listened to gurudev when he was saying that she is his daughter and rest fact he simply ignored and then only listened to damo and then he was confirmed and thus those line he was happy with the fact he has a daughter at that moment
Yesterday when yag was going on he was away from everything but it was his daughter who brought him in all this I feel now baldev will also took step toward all this to protect his daughter
Both baldev and Anamika were outside family and power war and they both stepped slowly in that together
I just loved that scene and more than the hatred or war between santrupa and anniversary I want to see bond between Anamika and baldev as how they bond inspire of not knowing eac

@Athene - Ajay C. (Baldev) is not your typical chocolatey hero. He s a POWERHOUSE. I have seem some of his shows and he is kickass. Coming to the character of Baldev - I have no doubt in his ability to do justice to the role. He will be able to hold his own with the awesome FLs of this show.
Agree with your assessment. Baldev will be a true parent to Anami and they will have a more healthy relationship then Satrupa-Anami.

Dammit I loved today's episode!!! It was sooo good!!! God she burned it!! She actually burned it!! I was sooo excited thorughout the episode! I honestly don't remember the last time I was at the edge of my seat and getting so excited over an episode of a Indian TV serial! 🥳 😆
Nice analysis up above Athene! And I think it wasn't just Baldev who had his eyes trained on Anami, it was probably the viewers too. I mean I watching Anami more than Satrupa for sure. Her I-am-so-bored reactions...😆
Similar to you I loved that scene when Baldev walked down the stairs and Anami entered the hall! Baldev's reaction!! The way both Anami and Baldev looked at each other when Baldev said he didn't even know he had a daughter! <3 Those two are love already! I'm gonna love their bond! Excited for tomorrow's episode because the precap showed Baldev and Anami bumping into each other!!
Dude, Pujan looked so angry when Satrupa announced Anami as her daughter! It was so fun to watch him today lol😆 Satrupa looked so satisfied with herself too seeing him yelling and screaming claiming it to be all unfair and wrong and blah blah... 😆

You could almost see the wheels of Pujan's brain churning as Anami spoke.
^^^Uh, so freaking true!! When Anami told everyone to get used to things getting swah and having a high voltage drama in the house from then on, it looked like Pujan took it personally. Like woahh his expressions there man...!
Sudha is... moody. She is a total Villain! I am not sure if I should be inrigued by her psycho behavior or not like her already?! It looks like she's carrying some big Lal Aag laga dene wale plans 🤔 She already hate Anami too!
The beginning was quick and fast. This is one thing I'm loving about this show. The CVs aren't doing the typical "kya, kya, kya", grey-faced Dadaji, double take on Baldev, etc. They move quickly.
^^^Also agreed! Though sometimes I have to rewind it just to catch on a person's reaction! Can you believe that? Sometimes I feel like the show is all about catching these characters' reactions! The actors do it that well!! Almost all of them too!! Even Avdhoot and his mother are good in this feild! Lol that scene when Pujan brought band-baja to get Vatsalya's signature on the will. Those two were so exasperated by Pujan's dance drama! 🤣
OVerall, it was an AWE-SAH-MMM episode!! I think the best one so far too!
P.S. She actually freaking burned that pagdi!!! Anami is such a badass! Even Pujan couldn't believe it!! I was having a similar Oh My God did she burn that pagadi in real moment!! It was sooo good!! Scenes like reminds us why we are RKC fans!🥳
Going crazy after this episode! 😆

Nice review !
I loved the scene where Baldev comes down the stairs and Anami enters the house...Both are walking towards one another...It was a beautiful scene...Quite symbolic...Even I think that Anami and Baldev will share a very special bond.

Ajay is a brilliant actor...I have followed most of his shows and he is a powerhouse performer.

His dialouge 'Ek baad ko ye bhi nahi pata ki uski ek beti bhi hai' , it was a simple line yet the way Ajay delivered it made it the most imapctful and emotional line of the entire scene...and the way Anami reacted to him with tears in his eyes made that moment between the father and daughter even more beautiful.

I am looking forward to see Baldev and Anami bond

Sudha - She is scary and I am sure she was in love or is still madly in love with Baldev...I am eagerly waiting to know more about her and Baldev

I am waiting to find out what exactly happened that got Baldev disowned...Baldev is one character which i find most intriguing and I am loving Baldev mainly because of the way Ajay is portraying it.

I am not able to warm up to Satrupa yet coz she is selfish and there is no doubt about it...It will take a long time for Anami to accept Satrupa

Right now she is going to give it back to Satrupa at every point

Anami burnt the pagdi and that was funny and badass at the same time

Things are getting more and more interesting 😊

I am in love with all the forum-wasis wonderful analysis.

The scene of the day for me is definitely Baldev walking down the stairs after seeing Anami enter, and say "ek baap ko pata bhi nahi ki uski ek beti bhi hai" Woah man!! He is an amazing actor, and so is Mahima.

I also liked the way Anami said - people in the house get used to the fireworks now since it is going to be a daily routine. Swaha of the pagdi.. if anyone of you noticed, Baldev was the only one who did not react after the pagdi was put in the fire. He was just looking at his daughter. Sooo looking forward to how the father and daughter would bond

Thanks guys for your responses! I have to say Baldev walking down the stairs as Anami walks in was my second favourite scene. My first favourite was when he says "Ek baap ko pata bhi nahi ke uski ek beti bhi hai". That was spectacular. I watched it like 10 times and I'm still not satisfied!

@ AnjanaYYZ: I hear you! Ajay is a powerhouse here so I can only imagine what he was like in his previous shows. Everyone keeps questioning why he took the role of a father, but I honestly can't see anyone else in this role now that I've seen him!

@ -PhoenixD-: Last week there was a scene where they show Narottam learning kathak (or Bharatnatyam) and they show a woman with a whip. I'm pretty sure that was Dadi. I have a feeling that Dadi is the hidden mastermind behind Dadaji disowning Baldev so Narottam couldn't be heir and then turning Narottam into an effeminate so it was further cemented. She probably was the reason Baldev had to marry Satrupa and not Sudha as well.
