Another well done episode. I like that they aren't wasting too much time on the initial setup and diving right into it. So, now that Vatsalya's death has been mourned to a reasonable degree and reality is kicking in, the competition for the throne to Royal Steel is intensifying. Everybody is busy trying to play their hand. Narottam, what a sly creature. His futile and somewhat laughable attempt at bluntly claiming his position as the rightful heir was cringe worthy. His acting was mediocre as you can see right through it. And seriously, Narottam is a bit delusional. I think his grandfather would rather donate his entire fortune to the board of trustees before giving him one single penny as evident from him treating to kill Narottam if he dares the pathetic emotional scheming one more time. The way he tried to manipulate him by stealing Vatsalya's stuff was downright abonimable. I can see why Vatsalya felt like a caged bird in the so called "Lal Mehal". He was surrounded by Hyenas and vultures, I am sure he was well aware of it even if he chose to see the good as much as he could while he lived. I don't obviously like the grandfather for punishing Narottam the way he has but today Narottam had one opportunity to prove himself to his grandfather but he blew it and proved him right instead. Now, Narottam's mother, she is a courtesan who used to fool around with Baldev. Is she really that delusional to think that getting pregnant by the son would result in her entry into the Palace. She still feels its her right, the place Satrupa holds in the palace. She also has pychological issues and seems a bit unhinged to me, need more on her. The CBI officer is smart. I appreciate that but the actor could work on his delivery a bit. The way he stares right into the camera sometimes feels like he is a third person narrating directly to the viewers instead of somebody who is part of the story.
Precap looks promising. Anami asked one crucial question to silence Satrupa. But she needs to enter Lal Mehal, the story will truly begin then.
