The boy who is dressed in female clothes seems to be an illegitimate son , or the first born of anami and vatsalya s dad. So the patriarch is disappointed and kicks him out of the family business.😕

ya it was 😳. Also when the actor who played shakuni bends near the dias when he believes he will be announced as the heir, there is a teenager standing behind him who looks a little effeminate. I think he is the same kid all grown up. Probably he is a crossdresser 😕

I read somewhere that this show is based on the Mahabharat with Anami being a female Karna of sorts...so maybe they included a character of ambiguous gender/orientation just like the epic.

I did not even think that was boy! 😆

I thought it was a girl - probably the first born that they do not include in any family functions. That is why the mother gave away Anami because she could not "afford" another daughter -- Afford in terms of maintaining her status and power in the house.

Accha?😆 i got very confused because the child was a boy and wearing a baggy t shirt and a skirt underneath...maybe you're right!
