today diya is in the exact same position and feeling those exact same feelings. guilt, helplessness and she is crying

may be this is karma happening with both of them...

now fans have jealous ratan, ratan hurting...and diya equally feeling trapped and hurting seeing him this way.

and this will go on till the last epi when they will unite.

the question is...when the fans asked for third person, strong diya, jealous ratan, ratan begging and karma etc...is this what they wanted for them? and the show?

no dira union till the end? illogical tracks?

because i no longer feel as though i am seeing the same RLHN that i once used to see. now it is getting to stage where i dont mind that it is ending. ending is better than what is being shown. sad but true.

fans asked for all these PLUS their rishta shown after consummation ..they did not want to end with these only and last episode of consummation

we all fans were saying teh same thing since honeymoon

why CV delaying ratan realisation

we wanted ratan to realise and diya ratan to consummate and start a new rishta and we wanted to see impulsive ratan mature diya and kids and also suspense elements after they unite

now dira wil happen only in the last episode. diya ratan vs terrorist fight will happen, dira will trick terrorist planting the locket. the terrorist will blow himself up and dira will hug...then family will welcome them as married couple. then THE END

yes we guys asked them before ..but we wanted ALL THESE ELEMENTS to be used for ratan realisation

IF CV did not make ratan character such a gadha after marriage for a very long time then fans would not have requested the above elements

teh more gadha ratan is the more fans started hating ratan character and were asking for RATAN TO BE HURT AS MUCH AS DIYA IS HURTING

if consummation had happened after honeymoon episode then fans would not have requested all those elements

they should have shown RISHTA after honeymoon epiosde consummation .thats what fans wanted

well done then because ratan has realised.

unfortunately when fans ask for obsessive third angles, they dont go away so soon just because the hero has realised love and they find a way to create obstacles to ensure that the concerned love story doesnt progress.

btw what is the big deal with consummation? why has it become such a"be all end all" for this love story? all i keep hearing is consummation hasnt happened...will it happen!

consummation happening or not happening is not a benchmark for a love story. nor is it supposed to be a milestone.

people didnt hate ratan's character as much as they were impatient for quick realisation and quicker consummation...both those things lead to quick demise of the show as well.

...and this is something that you have also said yourself...then shouldn't there have been some patience from all the fans for the longevity of the show? every time a track was being built (and it is necessary to have some build up because that is what increases connection and amplifies the climax of the track) fans got impatient and wanted it over before it started. the more and more that it happened (the reason for the jet speed many times), the lesser the trp audience connected with it. because the build up and drama was over before it started.

CVs may have messed up...but all of us contributed to the demise with our impatience too.

coming to the love story part and consummation itself...if you look at the longest running love stories (and not family dramas) you will see that the longer the time for realisation/the further away that it is, the longer the show runs. as soon as realisation and consummation is done the story becomes repetitive and the focus moves to misunderstandings, separations, getting back together again, then separation again then getting back together again or it becomes about everyone else in the family.

so the thumb rule is that the further away that it is...and the more the fans can be patient about it, the more the show will run. check that for any show...unless separation, reunion, separation is what fans want.

in real life rishta may begin after the two are together, in show that becomes routine life and while people want to see some realism, no one wants to really see a repeat of their life on TV...they want sugar and spice and drama and entertainment...which means not what happens in real life. and the number of ways of doing that in a story are limited...which means when lead couple gets together, love stories in TV and movies usually start ending...because small cat mouse fights dont give enough trp or entertainment to keep the show alive for long.

on a side note...i always wonder how fans can love a couple when they hate one half of the couple..."gadha" ratan...so much?

any way now ratan is hurting as much as diya was hurting...and diya is hurting/feeling guilty and helpless as much as ratan was before. i can say honestly that it doesnt make me happy. may be some fans are. to each his own.

Bold part: Agree with you. We have to patient if we want to see our show's long running and we should not react when ever new track starts.

I agree with your overall comments however as show ends, creatives should not think too much about what did fan said earlier...Like Varuni, I do not mind diya's rejection and ratan hurting if show continues but it ends now.

They should end this show properly to show us how these 2 different aged pp bring new rishta. They should show diya's acceptance now instead of rejection.

Anyways. It is too late. Show will end with dira's hug.

So the conclusion of the entire matter is:
1) The fans axed their own feet by putting forward their demands to such an extent that the creatives ended up changing the story line.
Why couldnt we, the fans be patient? Why didnt we allow the creatives to show what they wanted to show and tell the story they wanted to tell? Its definitely our fault too.
2) The creatives are so NON-CREATIVE that they DID NOT have enough confidence in their own story, hence they succumbed to the fan pressure. Ager fans in se kehte ke apna gala daba dou tou shayad yeh loag aisa bhi ker lete!
This is such a wrong approach. Everyone who creates something or some story should have full faith in their own point of view and their own script. Jab creatives hi itne dheelay honge ke fan pressure na sahaar sakien, tou phir tou inka Allah hi hafiz hai!

And now the show is ending...and there is no hope left for good DiRa scenes.
Sapna asked, "Why the fans are so obsessed with a consummation scene?"
Let me answer that. Consummation is not the end of a story...but ending a story on that note gives out the message to the viewers/readers/audience , that their favorite couple has found love in all senses...and its a good give away message, I believe.
I personally wanted to see their consummation because I subconsciously wanted to see their relationship progressing to that higher level. It would have given me a sense of fulfilment and a sense of happiness that my favorite couple has found its happiness in this form also.
Bear in mind, I do not believe in Sex being the last thing or the last level in a relationship, and I dont even believe that sex is absolutely important to help love flourish between a man and his wife. It is good for strengthening their relationship, but it is not the only thing that strengthens a relationship.
Anyway.. I dont think we are going to see anything of that sort in the show...
So lets just stop wasting our energies on this show now. I have kind of given up on hoping now...THIS is the failure of creatives..that they brought the show to such a low level that an ardent fan like myself is actually HAPPY that its ending!

i dont get this consummation being delayed delayed in ITV shows and finally show consummation and show is off in LOVE STORIES

u r saying story becomes routine after consummation ..even story becoems routine by delayin delaying consummation it becems a cliched ITV FORMULA

why do u say cat and mouse fighst wont give entertainment see american tv series they r the best entertainment ..delaying consummatin like in ITV shows is a joke there

also this RLHN is not just a love story going by the title .it implies married life between a impulsive hubby who loves his wife and a matured strong gal. thats waht we most of viewers expected

if CV in heir mind dont ahve thsi story line they should have changed the story TITLE to some otehr thing that best suits their story line and should not give false impressions to viewers befre hand.

even going by the monogram tehy showed every day before serial telecasted ..married diya ..with red saree ..ratan is like looking mischeviously trying to catch diya saree pallu and diya is looking little bit angry at him and turns that side .what does this imply ..does that not imply cat and mouse fights

in reality rishta starts after woman and man realising their love

its not we viewers r obsessed after consummaton ..its show makers are obsessed after conummation and they delay it somuch

can i say u one thing delaying consummatin is tehe asy way CV dont need to use their brain

but giving entertainment through cat and mouse fights they have to really really use their brain ..

so CV go by delaying consummation in ITV formula

thumb rule of delaying consummation is TYPICAL ITV FORMULA where CV need to use less brain its not the routine formula in any american tv series

i am NOT HAPPY it is ending ..actually present track in concept is good but low production quality and the way they executing it i.e script is what making it look worst

why low production quality and bad script ..bcos show is ending

if show is not ending definetely this track would have been good and if serial not ending we would have not been too much concerend about DiRa scenes getting postponed

so all prob lie in show ending and problem is not n the present track concept

^^ Problem is with the poor judgement of the creatives. Now that they know that the show is ending, they could have easily chopped down the whole extended locket bomb and crap thing and directly come to what they know that the viewers wanted to watch. A few last good memories wouldnt have hurt anyone. They could have easily shown that the terrorists got arrested and track would have been over and out. Lekin nahi! They chose this whole crap deliberately because they are just killing time now, till 1st june and at the last moment, they have realized that they shouldnt have been coerced and pressurized into the fan demands. So now they are making sure that this message comes across well to all the fans of the show.
They didnt know from the beginning how to manage the time and the story...and they did mess up things ROYALLY! That is why I am extremely angry with them...and I am Happy that the show is ending because the creatives have managed to make me feel that way!
Cant even quit the show at this stage...aur dekhna bhi zaruri hai...Ajeeb galay mien atak gaya hai! Na swallow ho raha hai naa hi baahir nikaal sakty hun. Iss liye I am happy that its getting over!
ROYALLY se yaad aya... 😳 I am sooo hooked to the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan... ❤️

fans did nt axe teh show ..what fans expecetd and what CV r showing is entirely different

what do fans expect when u give the title rihta likhenge hum naya.
PH should have kept other title if they wanted to show like that .

do fans expect delaying consummatin till the end like any ITV CLICHED FORMULA and tehn after few episodes bang show is over

thats what CV r intending to show when they initially planned to introduce meethi OPPOSITE ratan

tehy decided to show ratan falling for meethi or meethi falling for ratan and diya in a constant martyr mode ( typical TV heroine when hubby roams around after another gal) .tahts where fans started getting unrest

taht not what viewers expecetd with a title like this ( a typical formula where multiple affairs and consummation shown at teh end)

👍🏼 yes thats my concern too .they know show is ending .tehn why this extended locket bomb concept

they could have winded up teh terrorist concept after police came on friday showing police caught terrorist .. and give us 10 episodes of DiRa atleast

i think CV have gone crazy and i wnat to murder CV

going by BOLD PART do u thing CV r taking revenge on us i dont think so ayesha

simply tehy dont want to use their brain to give us 10 episodes of DIRA

by extending this terrorist track they DONT NEED TO USE EVEN 1% BRAIN and they can extend this till end and in last episode show DIRA consummation or just show dira being happy together

thats teh easy way to use 0% brain
