Everyone is still in war about "Is Ratan in love or not" or "after how many episodes he will be in love?" . Here I will talk what are they showing not about the "love war"
Here is the story (According to spoilers) , Diya confesses her love to Ratan but he rejects it. He goes to his office and cries a lot thinking that how can his best friend love this kind of gadha where she deserves lot better than him. ( high five Ratan mujhe bhi aisa hi lagta hai ) Diya comes to his office and sees that he is crying 😭. To pacify him she tells him that she is in love , she doesn't have cancer. Before completing the sentence he covers her mouth with his hand.
Ratan is not a ideal person but he is that kind of friend who can not tolerate the fact that his best friend is in love with "a gadha" which is accidentally Ratan himself. He can not see her in pain neither he is showing fake emotions like honeymoon track. From that he learnt that it won't be wise to show fake concern which would make her unhappy.
Wow! Ratan I am proud of you. You learnt from your mistake. Kash mujhe bhi aisa dost milta !
P.S. My assumption can be wrong as all what I said is shown in the spoilers, may meri dushman ko bhi trust kar sakti hu SBS ko nahi.
