I watch this show out of India and noticed that sometimes the shows are edited in a different manner for the overseas audience.
That is why I wanted to confirm with those who are watching it in India, is there any clarification given about why their parents were angry with Isha too? She refers to her not having a Maika. Why was that?
She was married (not to Ayush) at the time of Diya's engagement and subsequent moving to Kesar Mehal. It is obvious that she got widowed and then re-married to Ayush during these 12 years.
She did not seem to share a really warm relationship with her husband or her mother in law. So why did she marry him and why are her parents angry with her?
On a different note, the parents which are okay with a widow remarriage, are not okay with a single girl of 30? (For whatever it is worth, what Diya did will be considered as an act of sacrifice by most in that kind of society and her character will not be questioned for it. Even if she did the engagement with Ratan drama, it was recent and the problems her father has with her is age old. I believe this is an instance of writing without closing loops.)
