I am a bit sceptical about the regret shown by Choti Thakrani sa.

I am not sure if she meant it at that point of time. She might have meant it to be real. Her reasons might have been genuine too.

But writers have chosen to not reveal her intentions to anyone except Raghu (who is dead) and Ratan (who has a soft spot for her and is willing/eager to believe her).

Not even Priya or Yash know about it. It was a good move. They can use it however they can in later storyline.

In ITV show you need strong good Saas. If CT turns bad then we won't have the mother figure. So don't think she will change into a killer in the future. Also I am sure Sony is not happy with the murder track so that's not going to come back.

We need to see who the new villain is going to be

And yes it had to be a secret between Ratan and CT otherwise there would have been nothing left to show. And the way CT was working like a smart ass player, I kinda liked that, very few bad players are shown intelligent at par with the leads.

About the regret, at that moment I felt it was real and still is but I am sure it will bounce back once diya will come to kesar mahal as official maharani sa.

As long as CT thinks she is secured about her position, she won't worry.
