in current society age country or religion is not a barrier in love.. during ppk people were saying if the kid was 18+ then show wudve been considered progrssive.. this is a very less handled subject by TV.. whereas younger girls falling for elder guys have been handled many times..
RLHN desereves best... the show is really handling the plot sensible and in future DIRA love stories biggest barrier wud be this age.. Ratan will have to work really hard to woo Diya😛
looking forward to that..
note - people who finds it disgusting should clean their narrow minds.. no cure for insecurity and btw diya doesnt look elder at all.. infact looks younger than Ratan as told by rohit😆

The age barrier and similarities to Gulaal are the only 2 things that is making me watch this show.
However, its treatment is still loud, immature and kiddish. Hope the makers come up with better treatment and plot. Yesterdays episode was irritating.

I don't have a problem with it. Gulaal had a similar age difference and I had enjoyed watching Gulaal-Kesar.

I'm looking forward to watching how Diya feels and how she manages to overcome the barrier.

Btw,what's SNS?

A Maharashtrian colleague of mine married a girl 6 years older than him. So these things do happen in life.

But yeah Teju is looking younger than Rohit lol thats so true...

For me age is not an issue.. Diya doesn't even look like 30..she looks so young 😉
But I am eagerly waiting to see how will they depict this in the show because I feel age will be shown as big barrier in Dira relationship not from ratan's side but from diya's side yes

Personally for me age is just a number but i think they will have to face some problem but on the other hand seeing ratans reaction i dont think they might have to face that problem i will just see how the atory unfolds .If people have no problem seeing a older guy romancing a younger female then its their loss not ours

Diya will definitely have reservations about her age difference with ratan coupled with family members constantly taunting her that she is older than ratan.

age barrier had no issue from viewers point of view. many such shows came. astitva ek prem kahani was much maturely handled show.
but age will barrier between DiRa as diya n other family members will hard to accept such relations whereas ratansa will have no prob as he is younger generation.

hope ph will handle their journey more matured n interesting way

this is not similar to gulal not even ppk
in gulal child gets married to his bhabhi maa and fell for her when grown up even he had spent time with her as his bhabhi maa in childhood.
whereas in ppk child gets married to his peheredaar girl and consider, respect n adore her like his dream fairy.
and in rlhn child is grown up n seeing his peheredaar and starting adoring n liking her.
