HIV Victim - Part 1

Suhasini visits her doctor to get reports of her blood test. The doctor asks how she is feeling. She says she is doing much better with the tablets he gave her. She is talking about how she got late and suddenly the doctor mentions that she is HIV positive. She is shocked and she just takes her report and walks away from there.

She come homes and is very upset with what she heard and her mother in law is shouting (calling) for her. Her mother in law asks what did the reports say and she is tired of doing her job, she should take care of things now. Her father in law comes and he discloses that she is HIV positive and she has defamed their family and he kicks her out of the house.

Suhasini comes to her parents and her parents are shocked to learn the truth and they want her to go back to her in laws as people can talk too many things with this issue and even ruin there lives.

She then decides on where to get help.

She visits madhavi and her team and tells them the entire story. Madhavi tells her that she is HIV positive that does not mean she has AIDS. She is explaining to her how she can get HIV virus and what is the impact. Anupam asks her how her husband Ravindra died. Suhasini tells that he committed suicide because he was stressed with the job and he did not want to handle it anymore. She also mentions that he was not feeling healthy few months before his death and was loosing weight. Anupam and his team hesitantly ask if he had an affair with any other woman. Suhasini gets wild and denies any such instance.

Madhavi along with suhasini visit her parents and tries to explain that they should support their daughter. They also visit her in-laws but her father in law is accusing her of keeping illegitimate relationships and that is how she is affected and her mother-in-law taunts her may be that is the reason that her son could not take this and he committed suicide. They ask them to go away and they did not want to deal with suhasini any more.

Next day suhasini goes to her office where people are staring at her. She visits Govind's office , who is a partner with Ravindra. He speaks to her rudely and also tells her that they have nothing to deal with her anymore and he has transferred all the money that belongs to Ravindra to his parents and she better talk to them.

Suhasini is telling her parents what just happened and her parents are all packed and want to quit the city. They are worried that office people have learnt the truth and then pretty soon rest of the world will get to know. They want to go to different city and start a new life. Suhasini does not want to fight anymore; she just wants Aryan and start a new life far from everyone.

Suhasini goes to Aryan's school and then realizes that her in laws just picked up Aryan. She runs behind the car beginning for her son.

Aryan is crying for his mom and his grand mom is feeding him food. Suhasini, Madhavi and her team come there and suhasini wants to take Aryan and go. Her father-in-law snatches Aryan from her and mentions that they have nothing to do with her and why she wants to ruin the kid's life. She will be soon on her deathbed with Aids and she will transfer her disease to her son and even ruin his life. Madhavi tries to explain that by just taking care of her kid or feeding him or by sitting next time, the virus does not transmit. Suhasini's father-in-law is adamant and he requests madhavi not to lecture him on the topic and requests them to leave. He then tells suhasini that she is dead for them and Aryan is orphan. Madhavi, Suhasini, Anupam and their team is shocked to hear what he just said.

I agree bluepink. I was not aware of what she said yesterday. It was a good eye opener for me too. I guess they should make more stories where they educate people more.

I liked the episode too. As you rightly said, it was a very sensitive issue.
