On 6th November Club Aura witnessed a star none other than our Mr.Sweetheart Rajeev,and I was lucky to be present to see this event.
I always thought that actors have so much makeup on screen that in real lifethey look different,but Rajeev put all my thoughts to rest as he looked as charmastic as he looks on screen. It was difficult for anyoneto take your eyes off him. But finally when you gather courage to take your eyes off that face,you witness the Aura of this great guys, who still makes me feel how came someone on that pedestrian be so simple and pleasant. He met and talked with everyone like a guy next door.
I had the personal meet and greet tickets with him,so when I actually met him I greeted him saying "Hi this is Chaitali", and hearing those words he just hugged me instantaneously and said "you really flew from Miami "(Ps: I have been writing to him on his blog and had mentioned several times about myself and me flying for the event to which he had always replied humbly) It was a pleasant surprise to me to know that he remembers me, but what followed next left me just jaw dropped, he remembered all my posts on his blog, in which I had mentioned about my friends at work who know him and he said a big hello to everyone.
Next I gave him the present I had put together for him, also some of you had PM'ed your messages for him to me which, all of which I printed and put in the greeting I had got for him. On talking a little further he said he is happy that I made the effort to fly and said once he is done with meet and greet he will comes down on the dance floor andhe would love to talk more to me. Apparently there were so many people lined up that he never got enough time to come down and talk to everyone, finally when he did he went very quick taking selfie and shaking a leg.
I was standing down disheartened that I could not even click a selfie with him, as we were not allowed to click picsin meet and greet session, when Jagruti (the radio VJ) overheard me and took me to meet Rajeev. That was it, no looking back, upon seeing me again, he said... Chaitali and hugged me again, it was all so unbelievable like a fairy tale for me. Years ago I had gonesky diving, and when you are in air you are dillusioned of being a bird flying with dreams so high. Rajeev gave my dreams those wings back 😊After that we chatted good enough 5-8mins , asking me how I am doing, that he is so glad we could meet, I mentioned that I am from Mumbai but I seldom go there and the world is so small that we meet in San Jose. The entire conversation was so mesmerizing and magical, not even a single minute I felt that I was talking to a star so big. He talked to me like a next door guy, meeting his friend after long. I saw such a down to heart human in him that I fell in love with him all over again.
I have shamelessly told him several times before that I know him since 13th April 2015 - The day reporters started (as I don't follow much of indian television or movies) and haven't seen much of his work, but 1 show was enough to make me a fan girl. But after meeting him in person and spending probably 10 minutes with him, I know he is the owner of a wonderful pure heart and my heart beats faster for the man Rajeev who is behind this wonderful actor we all know.
I happily say that if he does a US tour ever again, I will always take that extra mile for him and fly for the event wherever its is, as he has earned my love and respect for him.
Head on heels in love with this guys.

(Sorry for the late update, I was in San Francisco for 2 days after the event, got home today completely jet lagged after the 7hr flight so rested and uploaded)
Here is what I put together for him,
A customized bracelet with a message, Burberry scarf with his initials engraved and a good luck Tortoise. Also gave a card and printed all messages those were PM to me
