I agree to all you have said in this post :) Sorry keeping it very very short today

Title reminded me of one of my favorite book Chanakya's Chant written by Ashwin Sanghi..Have you read it? If not then you have to! It is just AMAZING! You may not agree with the story but then the manner of story telling will definitely make you fall in love with this book :)

Preeti, thank you girl for taking time out of your packed schedule to reply this post.

No, haven't read the book, will certainly hunt for it.

Nice post but I disagree with one point that the mental illness angle could have been avoided. Though khalid and kabir had the required stake but to dismiss an employee it always is important to give certain notice period and a reason to dismiss. Without which the employee does have a right to take the legal way to either claim back the job or some compensation. I have seen cases where employers had to pay hefty compensation. And making a publicity of illness though sad but just made their stand stronger in public view that her dismissal was important.

Bang on as always Geetha and perfect title
Have always loved khalid kabir bonding the most in the show...they somehow always seemed to have an understanding...barring a few cases like sinha one
Manav...well he didnt seemed too amused by all the happenings...so...something more to him..definitely
Only person I just cant connect is Anu...my bad...but just dont feel anything for whatever she says or does...
And first ti.e I liked someone more than kabir..it was indeed khalid...this victory belonged to him...and the actor is just brilliant

Bikramjeet is amazing as Khalid. Yes he loves his kid KKN. Just like Chanakya loved Magad and would do anything to secure it's future! Khalid would do the same for KKN, and he did! It was great to see how he got rid of evil Shreya. "Check your email!" Nice line! :)

If the makers want a definition for grey, they could have seen it in their own characters, both Khalid and Kabir were grey from the start, somewhere in the middle they whitened Kabir's character (which took away the fun of the character), but Khalid remains true to his original characterisation.

Hey Geetha..long time.. :)
Umm I feel Kabir has adopted a new policy of 'saam daam dand bhed' *hope I got that correct* :p
As in, he does NOT consider Shreya human enough to even act ethically in front as well as behind her and since SHE has crossed all boundaries of being called a human being (from demeaning an honest man SK to even trying to attempt murder on Ananya), I guess Kabir too has changed his ways but that I guess is only for Shreya. This is out n out war for Kabir and he can resort to any means to protect his family(Kashyaps, Ananya and even KKN for that matter).
I'm by any chance not defending what Kabir did cause even I agree there are ethical issues to actually what he did but I'm just trying to look at the situation from his mindset.
As for Khalid, he was the show stealer. He was at his absolute best. I loved the taunts to Shreya. What a performer Bikramjeet is fabulous.
I'm happy they aren't redeeming Manav. That's quite a different take on a character. Kyunki, chahe Jo bhi badal jaaye, insaan ki fitrat kabhi nahi badalti. And manav has always been a self obsessed fellow who always thought too high of himself, and specially did that by demeaning others. He has had enough reasons to get punished and I hope he is metted out with the right treatment.

More than Kabir's smiles, I miss his smirk :(, he is forced to keep a sulking expression or a suffering expression.

Oh, I am getting possessive of Khalid. All these days, people were behind Kabir and lately Ronnie, leaving Khalid for me alone. 😆

I have said this previously as well. There were only two sensible people in KKN, who always focussed on their work. Khalid and Ronnie. Writers snatched away Ronnie, but at least gave credits to Khalid.

Hahhaha, Mahi, you are in for a tough competition now ;). Yes, glad that makers did justice to Khalid/' character by giving his credit for Shreya's exit.

I agree with you that they needed to use Shreya's illness as the reason for her ousture. My grouse is only about telecasting it and making it as a headline news. They didn't need to have done that, if Shreya had legally opposed her dismissal, the proof could have been used in the court of law.
