It starts off from yesterday. Khalid comes and informs KaYa that Ronnie's mom has arrived. He asks Ananya to speak to her since she knows her while they don't. Ananya braces herself and goes out to meet Ronnie's mom. Ronnie's mom is hysterical and asks Ananya what has happened to Ronnie, has he broken his leg ? She goes on to complain the Delhi roads are bad, people do not know how to drive and she is always on tenterhooks when Ronnie takes his bike out to go to office. She says she will go and meet him. Ananya stops her and tells her she cannot meet him as he is dead. Ronnie's mom is shocked. They reach his room and she breaks down seeing his dead body.
Next is the funeral scene and everyone is depressed. One by one they complete the rituals and Kabir is called upon to light the funeral pyre. Ananya is visibly distraught, recollects the good and bad moments with Ronnie and feels dizzy and is about to fall down. Kabir comes and holds her.
Tinnu in disguise is at the police station and tells Khurana that the men were not from Delhi and were hired from outside for this job - to kill Ananya. He says they kept getting calls from someone and were making calls to someone. He is sure they are RG's goons since right now no one would benefit more from Ananya's death.
At Ananya's house, the doctor is checking on her and tells Kabir and Anita that Ananya is in deep shock but she will be alright and they need to take care of her. Kabir comes out and asks Khurana about the case. Khurana informs him about Tinnu and Kabir requests for police protection. He tells Khurana that he has some work at KKN and asks him to stay back till his return. He then meets Anita and requests her permission to stay with the Kashyaps till Ananya gets alright. Anita agrees and Kabir informs her about the police protection.
Manav and Anita are somewhere and Anita is having those panic attacks and she tells Manav she is not carrying medicines. Manav loses it and lashes out at her for trying to kill Ananya. He asks her if she has a little bit of humanity left in her since in trying to eliminate Ananya, Ronnie lost his life. Manav tells her that they had separated KaYa once and they could do it again. Shreya tells him that till Ananya is alive, Kabir will never become hers. Ananya is quiet now which is good for her but she will soon get her killed and she tells Manav that he is equally responsible for this murder. Manav clears it with her that he is not and will never be a part of this murder plan and he will keep an eye on Ananya and walks off. Shreya sits in the car, frustrated and takes her pills.
Richa is crying uncontrollably and Sunny and Baby are trying to console her. Khalid tells them that Kabir will come to office any moment now. Kabir walks in and provides an update on Ananya's condition. Sunny informs him of Richa. Kabir asks Richa not to cry and tells them that they are his only support now and together they will punish the people who made them cry. He tells them that time is less and the work is more so they need to act quickly.
