I think Manu was very close & dear to Kabir. But, his search for truth behind SK & Pharma company case, caused physical damage to Manu. May be he didn't stop after threatening, then they took the way of causing harm to his dear ones i.e Manu. This is the reason kabir loves Anurag so much as he reminds him about Manu and whenever he looks at Anurag he feels guilty about Manu. Bhabi's disliking towards Kabir may be because she considers Kabir responsible for Manu's condition. It can also be sensed that in past Kabir was dear to her but the situation made her bitter & she cut all relation with Kabir . At heart she is good & she is sweet towards Ananya & her family.

Don't know everything has become so complecated. Totally confused.😕
