Okay.. I jst realized after reading an old superb fanfic in KTLK forum.. tht for a serial to come out as penned by the writer, at the end of the day its all in the hands of the director, how well he understands the characters, story, and how he executes it in an effective, understandable, and consistent manner on screen..

most of us r baffled at the way the story has shaped up post confession.. bt wen I read those romantic chapters of tht fanfic I realized tht writer has penned the characters beautifully.. thts why all the actors cud understand and give justice to thr characters so well.. bt I guess what lacks is the execution of the story.. technically. What is penned down on paper and what comes out on screen can have vastly different meaning...

I got this thot after listening to Ankita's (Tellybytes) and Kritika's (IVTF) interviews. Ankz says tht after thy read the script, thy discuss it with director, interpret in thr own terms, and some times what comes out on screen is completely different! And Kritz notion tht the best news story tht she has covered till date on Reporters wud b the "Terrorist" wala sequence!😆 Yeah..i know tht sounds quite funny bt thts what she said and she was quite sincere abt it!

So I get the feeling tht what thy read as a story, what is scripted in the screenplay, and what is finally interpreted by the director is quite different. Its not always necessary tht thy r on same page!😳 Hence the frustrated ramblings of poor writerji on facebook and twitter!😆

I really sympathize with writers, having written a story with so much heart, when it turns out to b a total disaster on screen.. its really painful to watch and digest. I can say so coz if someone is going to butcher my story I wud really feel like butchering thm!😆 While writing one can b very elaborate in expressing subtle feelings, emotions bt while putting it on screen its always difficult to convey and really takes grt technical skills and experience!😳

So I tender my apologies to Mr. Writer who attempted a brilliant story (and the characters r quite parallel to the fanfic of Ashutosh-Nidhi on KTLK forum tht I m currently reading 😳) bt it got lost somewhere in its interpretation by the director and due to meddling of the channel ppl perhaps!😳

Nevertheless the characterizations r superb and the story and screenplay of certain scenes and JSP moments conceived by thm were really unique ideas.. bt it jst tht it didn't progress the way thy wud've imagined.😳 I guess he is an experienced writer and if a fanfic writer can put it all very beautifully how can seasoned writer not?

These loops holes are really frustrating.. bt thn.. when I look back and see how he wud've envisaged it.. it gives me a feeling tht he has written it with lot of thought behind it..with a clear cut story/characters in mind..

The relation betn Tarini-Kabir was unique and I wished it was put on more elaborately to make it look classic and unique rather thn routine.. ditto with my expectations of vamp and other supporting characters. Bt going by the positivity of Ananya and complexity of Kabir, thy r jst penned beautifully, though in some scenes thy do give a feeling tht thy r going overboard.. perhaps its not conveyed exactly as the writer wanted to convey!😳 (for e.g. Ananya's silly romance after confession!😳 It was supposed to b cute bt it looked more irritating..😆 as thy overstretched it.. or her demanding nature.. which is quite a unique trait in a female lead!😳)

Also thy had hired a news consultant for this serial bt I wish thy had hired a reporter too who could make thm see stories from a reporting point of view! It wud've been a different and novel experience for us viewers. Instead of brandishing the style thy shud have stuck on more to substance in news reporting!😳

Time and again I refer to Crime Patrol bcoz its correct way to approach a crime story.. crisp, to the point with not nonsense and yet offering the gripping suspenseful drama!😳

I actually agree with what you have said..

Writing something down on paper and then executing the same written script on screen, along with some improvisation by the director and the actors gives a totally new output that is different from the original script..

At times, that works out really well, and at times it unfortunately turns out to be totally disappointing.. Like what happened with last night's episode.

Though i still believe that there had been faults from the writer's side as well..or should i say blunders..(like not calling the bomb disposal squad inspite of having known by the police about the probable blast, two famous news reporters from definitely not a low profile channel following terrorists in the lamest way possible, and also the terrorists discussing bomb in an old house with so much light inside and open windows!!!!! And Khurana ofcourse, the stretcher, etc etc😆)

So ya, the writer had his flaws,definitely, but the execution of whatever was there in the script had been more disastrous!!!

Are u sure its humungous fan fic stretching to two 150 pg threads.. and it has slow flavour of romance and growing rship! Bt the characters of Ashutosh and Nidhi in tht fanfic r quite close to Ananya Kabir tht the writer wanted to portray.. not exactly same.. bt u will able to understand KaYa's love and Ananya's character bttr.

Bt have u an appetite for such lengthy Fanfic?

p.s.: I think u might have read it.. its Achiever's fan fic ???

--u know its hard for me to believe tht a seasoned writer like him cud blunder in such silly manner.. its difficult to digest.. so my guess is the scene got edited somewhere before it reached the director.. for some inexplicable reason...tht we cannot possibly fathom!😆

--Yeah.. haven't we seen in many Hindi serial some crappiest of scenes.. shoved down our throat so convincingly by its superb execution.. why do u think illogical baseless plots in certain serials fetch interested audience?😆

Okay lets hope these last 30 epis turn out to b game changer and give us the original flavour of Reporters back!😳

Oh! How I miss those classy scenes/dialogues!

I am also waiting to be gladly surprised by their performance in terms of a script and execution.. And it better happen soon 😉😆

How could such terrible blunders be even made by Him?? That is so much not digestible!! 😆

In any other show, if this particular scene would have aired, then i guess it wouldn't have attracted so much criticism as it has done in here..

The reason being, the show and the writer has mostly been cinvincing enough with whatever has been protrayed till now.. So gradually we have expectations which are difficult to meet! So li'l bit of flaws are acceptable and also forgivable!

But last night had come so much in focus because of the number of mistakes that had been there in the whole episode😆

That could certainly not be overlooked by any fan!😆

Yeah.. right buddy.. and more so coz director too is a seasoned one.. and this was supposed to b The 100th epi! I m still reeling in the aftereffects of tht shock!😆😆😆

I am also waiting to be gladly surprised by their performance in terms of a script and execution.. And it better happen soon 😉😆

I had hopes on confession of his past.. bt wasn't totally disappointed as the acting was superb as was the case in Confession scene.. bt the past confession didn't offer anything new in terms of scene execution except for the novel way thy presented two different POVs making us believe in Shreya's words even for a split second of time!😆

Bt the Tarini-Kabir scene immediately after tht was total disaster and more disastrous was Shreya's revelation of actually being an outright maniac!😆😆😆 though it suits Shreya's personality immensely..😆😆😆 uske baad to blunders pe blunders.. 😆😆😆.. ab ye naya twist hope its worth the wait!😳

Koi accha classy romantic scene bhi nahi de rahein hai.. like those Porsche and Cabin scenes..😳

So that varies from one person to another..😛

That 100th episode mark was also a factor..Even if it would have been the 99th episode, and tonight's been 100th, then we would have said, "Alright, the 99th one can be forgiven, i am sure it's going to be better the next day"😆

but here things had been the exact opposite, so viewers' reactions are kinda justified 😆

There are so many scenes that i have loved and literally played the video in loops, but there are also few scenes which i would always skip while watching the episodes later online😆

Books/novels keep me focused.. the visual version distracts me with a lot other things tht I cannot help noticing!😆😆😆

Yeah.. tell me abt tht!😆 Yes.. I come to visual thing for the aesthetic appeal it can add to the story and the way it can realistically bring on characters alive on screen.. warna maja kya hai..

Certain scenes were extremely beautifully portrayed.. and in certain scenes KaYa chemistry was best depicted..👍🏼

So I feel its not problem with the actors its with the story and the director!😳
