Did Kabir hide Sudhir Kashyap murder to protect Ananya/Kashyaps??

So in SBS Rajeev told about hiding some truth from Ananya but what truth he didnt say. Acc to TC article, Ananya comes to know he knew Sudhirs case was not suicide but murder and he hid it to protect himself/his family. But I feel this is half truth or you can say twisted truth served to Ananya by Shreya. Quite psbl at some time Monu was at risk due to Kabirs truth and daring stand about Mr. Kashyap and it might have scared Kabir too. And thats why probably he readily parted from his family but continued investigating about the case. He did not want his nephew to be at risk because of him so he continued with his investigation behind the scenes and kept his family away from himself. And then when he came to know about Ananya being Sudhirs daughter it just scared him. He even kept that article with him remember. He knew if Ananya will come to know she wont be consolable and she will become hyper to dig out the truth thus endangering her as only he knows how dangerous those ppl are. So he lied to Ananya and let her beleive the half-truth so that he can tell her the truth when he is able to prove Mr. Kashyap innocent.

This was my first assumption abt this case and I think its coming true. Kabir has hidden but I feel its for the sake of ANanya's safety. He is still himself trying to punish the culprits behind everyone's back putting himself in danger but trying to keep all others safe. Just I hope Ananya u/stands this. Kabir will be totally broken if she breaks the engagement and here too Shreya will be successful in making him feel guilty about causing pain to Ananya. So not only will he be broken about engagement called off but also Ananyas trust being shaken.

Hope Ananya can see beyond the obvious.
