I so desperately want him to be framed here ( I would love this spoiler to be false as well but I think the chances of that is nearly zilch)..but like you said Kabir Sharma can never do anything wrong and I too believe in this..so I have to give in to the most plausible theory you have presented in this post here because we know he loves Ananya too much and whatever he does would be for her welfare indeed..So not doubting his intentions and accepting this!

High chances the what is revealed in front of Ananya would be a twisted story

PS: Ananya will definitely see beyond the obvious (it might take a while though but I trust her too like Kabir) and I want KaYa to solve this case together 😃

I ustand u guys being disappointed a bit but honestly I am not (if this is the cause of his hiding) because this was my my first speculation when I saw that scene between KaYa where Kabir said Mr. Kashyap did suicide. He was visibly guilty and somehow he wanted Ananya to believe that her dad committed suicide. As per me his only mistake is that he made Ananya believe that indeed his dad was weak. He could have told her the truth but that too must have been very risky knowing Ananya.

Later I forgot about this because Sammeer sir said this case wont cause any harm to KaYa. But now that it has resurfaced, and we know that Monu was severely endangered and probably Anurag crippled because of this, I can understand his fear. Somehow he has seen what a danger these people can be. No doubt Ananya wont have stayed calm after this and if they came to know about her trying to dig them out, the Kashyaps would be destroyed. Kabirs fears were very genuine. Honestly I had given this benefit of doubt to him the day the epi aired. This seemed the most plausible problem fro KaYa to me in future.

And I am sure gradually Ananya too will forgive him. His intentions were very genuine.

Guys I think when he hid the article it was fishy for me. And if you clearly see where he told about suicide he indeed have some guilt on his face. But it was short lived may be because he knows he is doing it for the best. He is not guilt ridden for this because he knows one day he will tell the whole truth to Ananya once he proves her dad innocent w/o risking anyone. He never expected everything will happen so quickly so now he is a bit scared. I think we might get a monologue or some flashback before the engagement that tells why he is suddenly tensed. Lets wait and watch. But itna I am sure he will never hide a truth from Ananya until its for her good.
