I don't blame him if he backed off from the case because of threat or harm to a dear one's life.. But he hiding it from Ananya does look bad especially when he is pursuing her, But as I said, probably his guilt is in not bringing the culprits to justice, and this guilt is overridden by his love and concern for Ananya.

I do think he didn't witness the murder though, because I am sure Shreya would do some fabrications of the truth to make it more damaging

Yes, Geetha. He definitely might be in a guilt of not exposing the culprits. May be he is trying to silently advance his investigations. His Singapore trip right after the revelation that too in an injured condition, make me feel so ! But if he had told Ananya the whole truth, what would have happened? Right at the next moment she would have started digging into the matter ! And what if she too would have been murdered, which is quite obvious ! Then, wouldn't Kabir's guilt have increased by thousand folds ? Leave the pain and grief his heart would fail to survive! The entire Kashyap family would have been finished !

This is not to justify Kabir's actions. Just another perspective. I am just looking at it as another huge revelation of Kabir's protective streak for Ananya !

All this makes sense only if Kabir has been making silent progress in the investigations.

Despite what some says, I think The show was going the right way. it stumbled in the middle but overall, it has been a satisfying journey for me. Now there is the data meeting plotline(which will probably go nowhere) how did anita agree to this relationship( which will not be explained) tarini's side to that fateful night( which may or may not be explained) and this new shreya/manav partnership. needless to say makers have enough materials on their hand for the next 30 episodes should they choose to explore the existing plotlines or tie up the loose ends. so why introduce this huge twist when there is hardly any time? This changes the entire game and just makes the plot even more convoluted. Ananya calling off the wedding makes this even more complicated, because it means whatever will be revealed will be big enough to cause a significant damage to their relationship(or maybe it won't be as damaging as we think.) Either way, CV's already have enough on their plate but this new twist is whole new ball game and writers need time to sort it out, but there are only 30 episodes left. Keeping the character assaination and kaya aside, it just does not make sense why the Writers will drop such a huge bomb now. something feels off.

Although its too early to comment but still I have a feeling that all this would ultimately be entwined together. It is getting complicated indeed, but when one mystery gets solved the rest of the knots would open up in domino effect ! For eg, Kabir finally bringing in justice for Mr. Kashyap will seal his position in Anita's heart for ever without an iota of doubt. The inconsistent figures might have something to do with the pharma company current sponsoring KKN which might further be related to SK case! Somehow, I am still keeping my hopes high !

I just made a similar post dear...didn't know even you said it. And yes I agree with you. But I also feel that somewhere Kabir Sharma is still investigating the truth. He is still every day risking his life to take out that truth. Bas he does not want anyone else to be at risk.

He took that article away from Ananya...remember he hid it with him. A very big sign!! If he wanted himself to get rid of that case he wud have thrown it but he did not. He still has that article with him. I think by hiding the article he was trying to hide Ananya from this case but by keeping it with himself, its a reminder he has to find about the culprits. If its so this will be the most beautiful twist o KaYas bond. Shreya probably twisted the Monu truth to her benefit but she doesnt know Kabir SHarma ko agar emotions week banata hain to sach uski sabse badi takat hai. He can never give up on the truth.

I feel exactly the same dear. Hopeless Kabir fans you see ! I just can accept that the writer can be stupid enough to butcher Kabir !

Lots more to speculate in weekend... but kabeer said sudhir kashyap ke bare me jitna jaante they bata diya hai ananya ko ... phir sudhir kashyap case kese aa gaya??? Confused naya dala gaya hai??
