Let's just take Kabir's oversenitivr reactions to Shreya, including the kerchief. Why Ananya is ignoring those?
I think that Ananya is not threatened by Shreya at all, she has faith that Kabir has wiped off that portion of his life away. She is not one to care about how he may have felt about Shreya in the past, for hasn't she said time and again that she doesn't care and wants to move on. That's her in a nutshell! She hates dwelling in what happened and instead wants to focus on what's happening in the now. She loves Kabir and knows that he loves her more than anyone and she trusts him completely and believes that no evil machinations by any ex is going to shake her faith in him and vice-versa. She encouraged Kabir to let go of his past completely and not hold on to any negativity and he thanked her for it.
She isn't insecure about Shreya's place in Kabir's present, what I am talking about is the unexplainable fear one feel about unknown things. If she doesn't have it, Kabir's extreme reactions should have triggered her curiosity, it will for any normal girl's.
Also, Ananya is the non-confrontational type, wanting to believe the best of everyone and taking things at face value. Some would call her naive and foolish looking at things with rose-colored glasses, but her trait is also endearing in a world that's so filled with bitterness and cynicism. Its easy to dismiss everyone as being conniving but its harder to place your trust in people and hope that they'll not crush your faith. Ananya is all about giving people second chances and encouraging them to change for the better. Hasn't she done that for Kabir? Maybe she will do the same for Shreya too? 😆
Yes, her naivety is refreshing, but not when you ignore your beloved's extreme reactions. If she feels Kabir is overreacting, she should hear him out and then help him get over it,
That said, I think she felt a bit unsure if Kabir would mind her impulsive gesture and was about to call him and warn him when he walked in..
The little sad face she makes at Shreya's commenting about Kabir's allergy I think will only prompt her to want to know more about Kabir and that is a good thing, na?

Albeit, I agree that inviting your BF's ex to a dinner date is utmost foolishness but all this ensuing forced closeness with Shreya is only heading towards one thing.
I think the CVs are constructing this as a plot device intended for Ananya and her mom (ergo us the audience) to get to know about Kabir's past from Shreya's POV first. After all, there are two sides to every story and Shreya is obviously going to present a very biased view of what happened, of course all the while donning her mahaan avatar and pretending that she does not mean to accuse Kabir bla bla bla 😡
Hmm, I somehow feel Shreay would continue to play professional card and play safe, she won't share anything to Anita, but gives the impression of a nicest woman who only a fool or a very bad person would divorce ;)
And hopefully knowing one half of the story finally pushes Ananya to want to know Kabir's side of it. I think that's the only way this girl would be willing to talk to her her BF about his past 😆
