My theory on Ananya's behaviour

I know most of us in the forum are upset with Ananya today, me too., but somehow I ended up feeling sorry for her in the last scene and that kind of wiped off my irritation with her..

Anyway, I have a theory about her behaviour which I did discuss a while back in one of my posts, repeating it now w.r.t her today's behaviour and the pain she finally ended up feeling.

Ananya is insecure about the past Shreya shared with Kabir, she knows she is Kabir's present and future, but did Kabir love Shreya the way he loves her? Did he pamper and made Shreya feel like the most luckiest woman in the world like the way he does with her? These questions make her feel insecure because most of us, women can't take our partner loving anyone else (even in the past) the way they do us.

But Ananya being the girl she is, wants to ignore this feeling, she does it by pretending that Shreya isn't Kabir's ex, but just the business head of KKN, and that's exactly why she ignores Kabir's warnings and also insists on treating Shreya like how she treats everyone else. She subconsiouly thinks she and Kabir can overcome Shreya's disturbing presence this way. Yes, I agree, it isn't a logical thinking or the best way to handle the situation, but are we all always logical?

Today too she treated Shreya the way she would treat Khalid, or Malvika before the problems between them. But it totally backfired on her today, she was rudely reminded of the fact that her Kabir was once the husband of this woman and this woman knows him intimately, it is such a painful thing to realise after all her pretence, that's why I can't help, but feel sorry for her,

I really hope Kabir realises her this feeling and solve the issue for her, by revealing the past and make her realise that he was never Shreya's the way he is Ananya's now.

I'm just stumped at ananya's stupidity today, but I did feel bad for her at the end. I think she is desperately trying to normalize the situation due to her escapist attitude.

Remember she told Kabir once that she does not have experience like how he has...when he reacted so strongly when Shreya came...she said usse zindagi ka tajurba nahin hain...and what she has done today is due to the lack of experience...

You have rightly said that she does not see Shreya as an ex...Ananya has no idea what an ex can be...Shreya has spent life together with Kabir...and knows him more that Ananya...at least his tastes, likes and habits...Ananya got a whiff of this today and she was not at all comfortable...

Iam seeing this episode as an eye opener for her...

That is a very plausible explanation Geetha. :-) The thing with Ananya is that she categorizes situations at times, and with Shreya, the woman who is her boyfriend's ex wife, no less is a big challenge at the back of her mind.

You could sense that when she talked her mother out of this the other day. She calmed her down, but this was an issue that plagues her mind like it would for any other person! And why not, Shreya is a mystery to her still, and especially when she has refused to hear anything about Kabir's past and when the past itself walked in on their lives, there is a curiosity in her as to what it was back then for Kabir and this woman and how will it affect them now that she is here.

She hasn't seen things like Kabir has, she has a clean slate, she sees things as she sees them right in front of her, but things won't be so rosy very soon. And she learns as she faces things, we have always seen that.

And the last scene melted my heart too, her actions resulted in their not so happy dinner and well, I can't help but feel bad for the girl! 😳

Thank you dear for coming up earlier today.

I really feel now , Ananya is actually running from Kabirs Past and its high time she comes to know ...

But I dont think so Cvs will show it now , probably one or 2 incidents more and then she will realize that she had enough of it and will run to Kabir for his past.

She needs to see shreya more intimated and somewhere Kabir more hurt than ever than only she will give up being having such bada dil.

But Kabir also knew what shreya eats and likes ...ouchhh It hurt me too :(

Kabir so cutely fell for her sorry and cheered her immediately, poor guy cannot see her sad.

I also mentioned Ananyas insecurities in one of my post, She will now start feeling insecure about nything and everything and her bubble will burst.

I agree Geetha. Just watched the episode. I'm not upset but feeling bad for poor girl.

Poor thing she was today. She was trying to be extra nice and it back fired real bad. But I was hoping Kabir would explain her how things would be between ex's, also I'm surprised that Kabir is unable to navigate through Ananyas mind and weigh her thoughts, Kabir is suppose to be smart enough to read people's minds na? Also I feel he is pampering her wee more than necessary.

Also Kabir still remembers what sauce Shreya likes.

Precap actually made me laugh.. Shreya is (false) praising Ananya for every little thing that looks so not real, also who asks a person "can we be friends" ? Friendship happens no one sits and decides let's be friends from today, it was very silly.

P.S. I been real busy from past few days.. Not been able read your posts..will catch up hopefully in sometime.

Yeah I know everyone is super-mad at Ananya after tonight's epi. But in the face of what recently happened with Kabir burning the handkerchief, symbolizing wiping away of negativity and the scene after that in Shreya's cabin, I think it was an organic move, don't you? I mean the Ananya we all know is open, honest, trusting unless the other person gives her reason not to be and so far nothing in Shreya's behaviour has prompted her to think otherwise.

I think that Ananya is not threatened by Shreya at all, she has faith that Kabir has wiped off that portion of his life away. She is not one to care about how he may have felt about Shreya in the past, for hasn't she said time and again that she doesn't care and wants to move on. That's her in a nutshell! She hates dwelling in what happened and instead wants to focus on what's happening in the now. She loves Kabir and knows that he loves her more than anyone and she trusts him completely and believes that no evil machinations by any ex is going to shake her faith in him and vice-versa. She encouraged Kabir to let go of his past completely and not hold on to any negativity and he thanked her for it.

Also, Ananya is the non-confrontational type, wanting to believe the best of everyone and taking things at face value. Some would call her naive and foolish looking at things with rose-colored glasses, but her trait is also endearing in a world that's so filled with bitterness and cynicism. Its easy to dismiss everyone as being conniving but its harder to place your trust in people and hope that they'll not crush your faith. Ananya is all about giving people second chances and encouraging them to change for the better. Hasn't she done that for Kabir? Maybe she will do the same for Shreya too? 😆

That said, I think she felt a bit unsure if Kabir would mind her impulsive gesture and was about to call him and warn him when he walked in..

The little sad face she makes at Shreya's commenting about Kabir's allergy I think will only prompt her to want to know more about Kabir and that is a good thing, na?

Albeit, I agree that inviting your BF's ex to a dinner date is utmost foolishness but all this ensuing forced closeness with Shreya is only heading towards one thing.

I think the CVs are constructing this as a plot device intended for Ananya and her mom (ergo us the audience) to get to know about Kabir's past from Shreya's POV first. After all, there are two sides to every story and Shreya is obviously going to present a very biased view of what happened, of course all the while donning her mahaan avatar and pretending that she does not mean to accuse Kabir bla bla bla 😡

And hopefully knowing one half of the story finally pushes Ananya to want to know Kabir's side of it. I think that's the only way this girl would be willing to talk to her her BF about his past 😆

i dont know anyone agree with me or not.I feel today that anaya is insecure with the presence of Shreya in front of them. to hide her insecurtiy she is good with shrya,and ended up doing stupid thngs like today.

i was vry angry wth her in first part,bt ended up with a feel of concern,sad for her.She was going through all these in her first relatnshp and that too in so early days.I really feel sorry for her.

wish strength nd luck to deal wth it.
