OS : KABEER-ANANYA PEHLI BAAR JO DEKHA

"Jaldi chal Ronnie!" scolds Ananya, climbing the stairs of the temple. "Ohhoo... chal raha hun. Abey tujhey itni jaldi kyun ho rahi hai? Konsa bhagwan kahin bhagey ja rahe hain?" asks Ronnie, climbing the stairs behind Ananya. Ananya stops at the second last stair, rolling her eyes, she turns to address Ronnie. Pointing her index finger towards him, she warns him, "Dekh Ronnie, mujhey bhagwan ke upar aise mazak bilkul nahi pasand" "Acha baba sorry!" apologizes Ronnie, reaching her. "Waise main kya bol raha hun, kyun na Shivratri Celebration' cover karein hum?" suggests Ronnie. Ananya stares him quizzically.

"Kyun na tu Shivratri Celebration' pe ek choti si story cover karke dikhade? Tera practical aur viva saath mein hi ho jayega, kya bolti hai?" asks Ronnie, holding his waist from either side. His suggestion brings a smile on her face, "haan yaar Ronnie waise idea to tu bilkul sahi de raha hai!", exclaims Ananya. "Chal cover karte hain", Ananya gives a thumbs up to Ronnie, as they reach the interior of the temple.

Standing by one of the pillars inside the temple, his arms crossed, Kabeer enjoys the whole conversation between the duo. Laughing silently, he mummers, "kaise-kaise log reporters banne chal dete hain!" Reaching him and Anurag, after performing her puja, Tarini asks, "chalein Kabeer?" Sitting on his wheel chair, Anurag pulls Tarini's duppatta, "Didi prasad do na", he demands. The pulling of her duppatta unbalances Tarini's hold a little, on the plate she has been carrying, and an apple falls off her plate and goes rolling down. Picking it up quickly, Kabeer places it back on her plate and says a bit loudly, on intention, "dhyan se Tarini, warna log iss cheez ko bhi khabar bana kar news mein dikha denge" he taunts at Ananya, without looking towards her.

His words successfully reaches the ears where he wanted them to reach. Staring him in anger, her body half turned towards Kabeer, Ananya, without looking towards Ronnie, forwards her puja ki thali towards Ronnie, "ye pakadiyo main abhi ayi". Knowing her nature very well, Ronnie tries to calm her down, holding the plate, "dekh Ananya rehne de na kya tu bhi choti-choti baaton ko lekar... I mean hum... mera matlab tu to unhe janti bhi nahi hai, fir kya panga lena?" Ronnie tries to make her understand. Turning towards Ronnie, she tells him, "exactly that's the problem, jab hum ek dusre ko jante hi nahi, so who is he ki wo mere barey mein kuch kahe?" saying this Ananya walks to Kabeer.

Kabeer who was paying attention to the whole conversation between Ananya and Ronnie, waits for her to reach him.

Reaching him, Ananya crosses her arms, looking straight into his eyes, creasing her brows, she asks, "kya keh rahe the aap?" Kabeer remains quiet, giving her full opportunity to speak. "Waise ek baat bataiye, reporting ke barey mein jante kya hain aap?" Her question makes Kabeer to raise an eyebrow, smile twitching on his lips. "Ananya beta tu chal..." suggests Ronnie, standing behind her at a good distance. Without turning to address him, Ananya points her index finger to Ronnie, indicating him to remain quiet. "Bataiye? Apko pata hai khabrein hoti nahi hain, khabrein banayi jati hain?" Impressed by her words, Kabeer gives an appreciative nod and asks, "very nice line! Apki apni hai?" "Haan!" answers Ananya, hurriedly, in excitement. Kabeer raises his right eyebrow, giving her chance to cross-check. Cascading her eyes, she rectifies her words, "mera matlab mere kisi apne ne kahi hai, achi lagi to use kar li". Kabeer points out her words by repeating it, " 'apne' ne?" But his enquiry couldn't shake her confidence, "han!" she replies, increasing her level of voice.

Her words succeeds in surprising Ronnie too and he couldn't help himself from intervening , "apne ne?" Ananya turns to look at Ronnie and gestures him by enlarging her eyes, to remain quiet! Ronnie shakes his head, smiling and lowers his head and starts anticipating her reaction when she'll come to know about the man, standing in front of her.

"I am sure apka ye apna' kafi intelligent hoga" Kabeer tries to hide his amusement. "Waise... Ananya... right?" he asks, just to clarify. "Apko mera naam kaise pata?" asks Ananya, knitting her brows, a lot of suspicion hidden in her voice. "Ji abhi-abhi apke dost ne apka naam lia tha" smiles Kabeer. "Oh... it's nice to know ki aap apke samne kya-kya ho raha hai har baat par nazar rakhte hain. Actually you know what apko na news reporter' bann jana chahiye! Aise logon ki sakht zarurat hai news room mein. And think about this, aap TV pe bhi aa payenge! Ab itne good looking aur handsome to aap hai nahi ki movies ke hero bann jayein! Acha option de rahi hun". Kabeer folds his arms and acts to think.

Ananya stares him in utter surprise, "I don't believe this, he is actually thinking about this". She says, as she takes her steps backwards, still staring Kabeer in utter surprise. "Ananya Kashyap chup ho ja" warns Ronnie under his breath, but it doesn't escape Kabeer's ears. Smirking, he indicates Ronnie with his index finger to remain quiet and let her speak.

Noticing the he is drifting his attention from her, makes her feel jealous. "Ye aap idhar-udhar kya dekh rahe hain? Meri taraf dekhiye, hum baat kar rahe hain, aap aur Ronnie nahi!" scolds Ananya. "Hum nahi Miss Kashyap, aap baat kar rahi hain! Main to bus sunn raha hun!" smiles Kabeer, emphasizing on 'hum' and 'aap'. His words irritates her even further. Having a loss of words to describe her anger towards him, shaking her head, Ananya takes backward steps and says, "Mujhey na apse..." as she takes another step backward, her feet slips as she unconsciously steps on the dropped oil on the floor. "Ananya!" shouts Ronnie. But Kabeer was quicker than her fall.

He catches her at the correct moment, preventing her from falling. In those friction of seconds many things happen altogether - Ananya slipping on the oil, Kabeer catching her before she falls, Ronnie shouting ''Ananya!'' and Tarini shouting "Kabeer!" and Anurag witnessing the whole incident opened mouth!

Ananya holds him tightly by his shoulders, her eyes closed tightly. While Kabeer's left arm is curled around her waist, possessively.

(Kabeer-Ananya tune begins in the background as Kabeer keeps staring a terrified Ananya, wrapped by his arms, safely!)

A smile creeps on Kabeer's lips as he stares Ananya and thinks how stupid you are Ananya! 'Tum aisa soch bhi kaise sakti ho ki mere hotey hue tumhe kuch ho sakta hai?'

After staring for sometime, Kabeer whispers to Ananya, "aankhein kholiye Miss Kashyap, humare dost humein dekh rahe hain. I am sure aap mere saath iss position mein apne doston ke samne rehna enjoy to nahi karengi? Nahi?", teases Kabeer. His words help her to get out of her trance and she realizes how embarrassing position it is that her friend is witnessing of her.

And as if it isn't enough, suddenly they remember, Anurag'! "Anurag!" "Bacha!" they both exclaim together, both indicating towards Anurag with their exclamations. Kabeer makes her to stand properly on her feet, looking at her intently. He changes his focus only when he becomes sure that Ananya is fine. Slowly, Ananya raises her eyes to look at him, shyness visible in her eyes.

(Kabeer-Ananya tune begins in the background as Ananya looks at him)

Kabeer looks towards Anurag, then towards Tarini and Ronnie and realizes that the incident didn't just cause Kabeer and Ananya to blush, but the blush on the face of the trio in front of him tells him that they are affected too!

Kabeer feels a little uncomfortable, specially because of the presence of Anurag. He lowers his eyes out of shyness on seeing Anurag. He was about to walk, that he remembers what just happened. Turning to look towards Ananya, he forwards his hand to help her.

(Kabeer-Ananya tune begins in the background as he extends his hand towards her, looking intently towards her, with a little smile on his lips).

Ananya stares back at him, smiling a little too and places her hand on his hand. Turning to look towards the trio, they walk forth towards them.

Realizing that they should not mention what just happened between Kabeer and Ananya, Tarini and Ronnie reach their respective friend, "Kabeer tum theek ho na?" asks Tarini, concerned. "Ananya tu theek hai na?" asks Ronnie, concerned. Ananya nods her head to a 'yes'. Kabeer assures Tarini, "main theek hun" after seeing Ananya nodding at Ronnie's question, which assures him that she is indeed okay. Then Tarini turns towards Ananya and asks, "tum theek ho na?" Ananya nods to a yes' again, with a little smile. Kabeer stares Ananya, assuring himself yet again that she is indeed fine. Ronnie asks Kabeer, "Sir aap theek hain?" Smiling, Kabeer assures him as well, "han Ronnie, waise bhi giri Miss Kashyap thi, main nahi" laughs Kabeer, a little. The other four laugh too.

Nudging Ronnie, Ananya asks, "tu inhe itni respect kyun de raha hai?" "Respect?" asks Ronnie, confused. "Sir kyun keh raha hai?" asks Ananya, creasing her brows. "Ohh... kyun tujhey bura lag raha hai?" asks Ronnie with a motive to irritate her further. Ananya glares at him "Chal tu yahan se!" orders Ananya. Holding Ronnie by his upper arm, she turns to leave. "Arey Miss Kashyap!" calls Kabeer after her.

(Kabeer-Ananya tune begins in the background)

He walks to her and asks her, smiling "to bataiye kabse join karun news room as a news reporter?" "Kabeer!" Scolds Tarini. Smiling, he keeps staring Ananya. Shaking her head, all serious Ananya leaves. As she descends the stairs, Ananya turns back to look at Kabeer and finds him staring her already, smiling. Ananya smiles back a little.

(Kabeer-Ananya tune continues in the background and Ananya and Ronnie leave)
