"Ek ladka tha, bohot introvert tha. Apni feelings zada share nahi karta tha kisi se. Uske zada friends bhi nahi the. Disciplined tha, jhoot bardasht nahi kar pata tha, specially agar wo jhoot kisi apne ne kaha ho to.
Ek din usse pata nahi kya sujha ki ek ladki, jo ki uski friend bhi nahi thi ussey dinner ke liye le gya. Uske nature se kuch alag kar raha tha wo. I mean parties, dinners, crowd and all ussey zada pasand nahi thi. Par fir bhi usne kisi ko dinner le jane k barey mein socha. Aur socha to socha, itna dimaag lagaya ki ussey jisey wo dinner ke liye le ja raha tha, ussey bataya tak nahi ki wo log dinner ke liye ja rahe hain!" recites Ananya. Kabeer shows his index finger and starts to utter "ek minute..." but Ananya, halts his progress by showing him her hand, indicating him to listen to her quietly.
Then she continues "Khana wana khane ke baad, ladki ko bohot neend aa rahi thi. Fir ladke ne ladki ko ghar drop kia. Ghar jane ke baad ladki apne room mein gayi, bohot neend aane ke karan so gayi. Agle din jab wo uthi aur office jane ke liye ready hui to co-incidentally usne ek aise color ka dress choose kia, jo uske earring se match kar rha tha to usne socha kyu na wo purani earring hi pehn kar rakhe. Wo apne aap ko aayine mein nihaar rahi thi." Then she whispers "pichli raat ki baatein yaad kar rahi thi". Listening to her words Kabeer, smiles and comes closer to her. Then reaches behind her and whispers into her ear "phir..." She doesn't reply out of shyness. Kabeer forces her to speak, he whispers "Phir kya hua Ananya?" "Phir..." she whispers, her heartbeats racing up. "Hmmm... Phir?" he is also trying hard to keep himself calm."Phir usne dekha ki uske paas uski ek earring nahi hai!" she reveals her thinking."Aise hi jaise aaj nahi hai tumhare paas?" he asks, whispering."Hmm..." she somehow manages to make her voice audible. "Phir kya hua?" he forces her to continue. "Phir jab ussey ye realize hua ki uss ladke ne badi chalaki se, uski innocence ka faida utha kar uski earring le li hai, to usse bohot gussa aaya!" she tries to control her laugh. "Madam uss ladke ne koi chalaki nahi ki thi. Agar ladki ko apne cheezon ka hosh hi na ho to ladke ki kya galti?" asks Kabeer. "Arey kya galti kya? Ladka agle din usse sharafat se uski earring de bhi to sakta tha. Par usne aisa kia?" saying this she looks at him, daring him to answer. When he doesn't and just smiles, she continues "Nahi kia na? To fir?Pata hai kya apki to adat hai humesha meri hi galti nikalne ki, khudki to kabhi galti hoti hi nahi hai, hai na?" she doesn't realize what she is saying. "Iss story mein meri aur tumhari baat kahan se aa gayi?" he asks her, creasing his brows, with a hint of smile on his face. Ananya get's nervous as soon as she realizes that she shouldn't have said this line. "Wo..." she gets nervous. "Hmm... batao batao" he provokes her. She feels shy.
Kabeer parks the car at a corner. Ananya demands her earring back. "Aap de rahe hain ya nahi?" "Theek hai tum paas aogi ya main paas aun?" he asks her, teasingly. "Aap..." she shakes her head, failing to word her feeling. "Main aun?" Kabeer tries to play with her words, although he knew she didn't mean it as an answer to his question. Sighing Kabeer says "tumhari earring to tumhe milne se rahi. Ab tum khud soch lo ki tum kya karogi". Ananya rolls her eyes to hide her blush and says "chalein ab hum?" "Yes Madam!" Kabeer tries to show sweetness, it melts her heart, and she laughs and feels shy simultaneously. Kabeer laughs in return and drives.
