Thoughts on yesterday - Present and future of KaYa

I haven't been able to add to my post from last night, so just highlighting my thoughts on yesterday..

It's too early to say that KaYa are falling in love.. Nope.. They're not..

But I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's surprise package - calm and serene scenes after the turbulent week we've had.

So yes, they're settling into a comfortable space with each other; now no irrational arguments, difference of opinions will affect their relationship - the working relationship, for starters.

Ananya has seen a vulnerable, gentle and unseen side of Kabir while he guided her through difficult times, kept her faith intact, joked and laughed with her, and was her pillar of strength.

She already idolises him for the intelligent, honest reporter that he is.. And hence it seems pretty convincing to me that she will be attracted to him now that she's getting to know the real him. Of course, there's a long way to go..

But more than the attraction, she'll be intrigued by the mystery surrounding him. She will try and dig further into his life, of course without crossing the lines, coz now she doesn't need to. They're friends now and they will share some defining moments which will serve the purpose..

It is when she will realise that Kabir Sharma has a lot many shades to him, and she will need all of her patience, and will to understand him and keep her faith in him intact..

Kabir, on the other hand has been through hell and back, by the looks of it.. So it's obvious that he keeps his walls up, shielding himself from attacks in the future, so much so that he has thwarted every comforting advance made towards him in the past. But in times of distress, he was forced to forget his own despair, and instead stepped up to be her saviour.

He probably has realised that beneath the faade of the stupid, immature reporter is a very brave girl, and an ace journalist in the making.. She is a rare blend of stupidity and wit - and only intelligent men like Kabir Sharma will realise how valuable an asset she can be to his Team.

But on the personal front, he is probably drawn to her innocence too.. Even if it was momentary, he has lowered his guard, and allowed her in. Yes, he is a master at manipulation, and flirting too.. And he uses that with Ananya at times too, to distract her or just to get his work done..

But there are little moments like when he teases her, holds her hands and rebuilds her faith in herself and in him, apologises for his impulsive behaviour, looks at her like he would do anything to keep her safe, lifts her in his arms and proves his heropanti - he wasn't pretending to be someone else.. It was the Real Kabir coming to the fore in those little moments..

So yeah, their journey has begun.. Like a soothing balm to the heart, but it's going to be a bumpy ride filled with challenges - their faith in their principles and in each other will be challenged, circumstances might not be in their favour always, and as we saw tonight, Ananya's father's truth being connected to Kabir's past will certainly be the biggest obstacle they will have to conquer.. TOGETHER..

While some of you might say that all of that needs to happen before KaYa fall in love, I'd say this will happen while they fall in love.

Moral of the story - I ship KaYa with all my heart.. ❤️

P.S. : The hero's Heropanti - Sigh! Kabir carrying her in his arms, cracking jokes and that serene look on his face when he's with her - Dude! If and when this man falls in love, he's going to fall so hard that he won't know what struck him.. 😉
