Inspite of not being on talking terms...not having a direct conversation, still Kabir Ananya worked together as a well synchronized team...Guess somewhere down the line some unseen understanding has been developed b/w the two, where they understand each other well & how other one wud react in a particular situation.
The best part is, this understanding is coming equally from both sides...though its still in initial stage, but its good to see they don't need to literally spell out things to each other...but they are able to guess each other...may be because of experience understanding is more from Kabir's side as he knows how & which buttons to push to bring out best from his stupid reporter...who is actually not as stupid as he thinks her to be...
He know Ananya teaming up with Manav wud somewhere deviate her from her focus & will make her a pawn in the power politics game in office ...that was why he instigated her too the edge where she decides to work individually...
Inspite of all differences it was wise of Ananya dat she decided to share her story with "Kabir the great" instead of Manav bhai...guess somewhere down the line she is starting to understand how exactly she needs to work out her things without getting into any kind of politics...& inspite of everything she understood that it wud be better to share her theory with kabir instead of anyone else.
It doesn't matter if she shared it through Richa, the point is it got shared with Kabir...& unlike others he didn't dismissed it on very first go but started working on it himself & also asking for more stronger proof to support the theory...coz if theory turns out true...they wud surely need stronger proofs to support their point ...not just the reason "ladkiyon ko affair wali look samajh aa jati hai" is enough.

Richa literally messed up whole Ananya's theory about "Apurva Shroff being murdered"...she made it look so obvious that it wasn't her thoughts she was expressing...but glad Ananya's theory through Richa gave our editor-in-chief a new angle to the whole mystery & his brains started to analyze the different angle...For once, I thought if Ananya wud have presented the theory herself ...it wud have looked more convincing & believable as she wud have presented with confidence.
Somewhere smart editor in chief had guessed the brains behind the whole theory, even if Ananya hadn't commented about trust & all...but Kabir was right on his part that if as a reporter she demands trust from her editor in chief...he in turn too deserves a certain amount of trust & understanding from his junior reporter.
Their indirect talk was quite interesting ...more than boss-employee they seemed like a fighting couple who after lovers tiff talk to each other through their friends.

It wud be first time, Kabir wud be ripping apart a lady's real face, it is to be seen how easy he goes on her with his direct questions.
Ofcourse the after effects wud be more interesting to watch...
