Part 1
Ananya knocks on the door of Kabirs cabin where he is in a meeting with Khalid and others. Ananya says i came to demand my job back. Kabir says not possible, Trisha has been promoted in your place. Ananya says Trisha gives weather report. Kabir says that spot is empty, take that. Ananya says no. I deserve my old spot back. Kabir says really. He gets up and walks towards Ananya, looks her in the eye and tells her.. 'PROVE IT'. Ananya is taken aback.She accepts and says 'FINE, i will prove it'. Kabir wishes her 'All the best' and Ananya says within 48 hours you will offer me my job back. Kabir says i thought you will prove that in 24 hours. Ananya accepts the challenge. Kabir asks her what are you waiting for. Ananya walks off.
Ronnie walks upto Ananya and asks what happened inside. Ananya shares Kabirs challenge. Ronnie reminds her she had come to say sorry. He asks her what will she do. Ananya's cameraman says she will find the news and Kabir will be eager to get it from her and get her back here. Ronnie wishes her luck.
Ananya comes home and her mom asks her if she got her job back. Ananya says had to get it. He knows my value. Ananya's mom says a reporters value is as much as her news. What news did you get. She goes to get food for Ananya. Ananya rues how to tell you that i have 22 hours to prove my value and my worth. Armaan calls Ananya and says urgently need to talk. He comes home and shares about how he and his fellow school mates are planning a protest rally for a fellow student Varun who was to be selected in Under-19 team but due to corruption, was not selected. They ask Ananya where they should protest and if she can get them any coverage. Armaan insists. Ananya asks them where they will find the selector. She says let me talk and see if the guy relents. Varun calls someone and asks about the guy (Krishnan). He gets to know the guy has gone for some channel interview. It turns out to be KKN. Ananya smirks.
Richa comes to Kabir and says the driver killed previous night was Dinesh Chibber's driver. Kabir says i got the news just now, how did you get it. Richa says through my sources. Kabir praises her and tells her to get the news ready. He says there has to be some connection between Dinesh and his drivers death. He asks Richa to get cracking.
Varun tells Ananya that her idea is not right and a lot of risk is there. Armaan insists. Ananya tells Varun this fight is not just for him but for others too. He is talented and deserves the spot. His dad would be proud of him.
Ananya is talking on phone with Ronnie. She asks Varun to get in the rick. She tells Ronnie that she plans a sting operation in KKN office and to keep equipments ready. Ananya arrives and asks receptionist to let her in to meet Ronnie. Khalid sees her and asks what she is doing there. Ananya says need to complete formalities so. Khalid says can do that at home. Ananya says nope, gonna settle all dues here and then go. Khalid asks pointing at Varun who he is and Ananya lies saying this is Armaan, my brother. Khalid walks off and Ananya enters the office and meets Ronnie and tells him her plan.
Ronnie asks Ananya what she wants and Ananya says Krishnan is coming here and we can do a sting operation on him here. Ronnie is hesitant and Ananya says just 16-17 hrs with me. If i fail we both will look for a job. Please. Trisha too supports Ananya. Ananya says , jo zarurat me .. woh dost. Ronnie relents and says , jo zarurat me kaam aaye, woh dost. Ananya says Manav wont be here for long, we will follow him for a job together.
Part 2
Malvika enters her cabin and Manav taunts saying sorry sitting in your cabin without permission. Malvika asks him to save his drama for his show. Manav says wont happen anymore. Not gonna be here anymore. You think i am standing on your shoulder to rise but now you wont have to think so, am leaving this office. He gives his resignation to Malvika. He gets up to leave and Malvika calls Manav back and says everyone is trying to do something for the channel. KKN is moving to number 1. All are excited and participating. But what are you doing. Where are your reports, debates. Kabir respects you but you are not doing anything. People know KKN coz of you but you dont wanna contribute. You are killing the buzz.
Manav walks to Malvika and says you cant see am hurt, not coz of Kabir but coz of you. Malvika asks so i cant scold you. Manav closes in on Malvika and says ofcourse, give me another chance. Malvika smiles and says your such a baby. Manav tears up his blank resignation letter and says now watch. He again closes in on Malvika and she says later. She asks him to cover Dinesh's news. He says sent Richa already and have interview with Under 19 selector lined up. He walks off happily and Malvika smirks that he doesnt even have courage to tender a real resignation and wants the seat of Editor-in-chief.
Part 3
Ananya asks Trisha to wait with Varun upstairs and says will call as soon as selector arrives. Ronnie and Ananya sneak inside the studio. They plant CCTV in the green room. Ronnie checks if the focus of the camera is correct but since the view is blocked, Ananya sneaks back inside. Right then Malvika-Khalid are shown walking towards the studio. Richa is panic stricken seeing them. Just as Ananya is walking outside, Khalid-Malvika enter the studio. Ananya sneaks outside. Richa breathes a sigh of relief. Khalid-Malvika walk off and Ananya comes to talk to Richa. Just as Richa is about to answer, Kabir comes. Ananya hides underneath Richa's table. Kabir turns to say something to Richa but the screen freezes.

Precap -- Kabir tells Ananya that she has just 15-16 hours which she is wasting here. Ananya says came here for settling my dues. Have not gotten my salary which i need. Am a poor journo unlike you. I have been terminated illegally. Kabir tells Ananya you havent been terminated but seems like its time to terminate your account from KKN permanently. Ananya is startled and asks what.
