Shweta Gulati, better known as Sonia Jaiswal from Ambar Dhara is quite happy these days. "Finally, viewers will recognise me as Sonia and not Tia!" the actress exclaims, referring to her role in the popular show, Remix.

"Ambar Dhara, as you would have noticed, is a very different show with a unique storyline," she adds. "There is much more that my character will do in the serial."

The actress will also act in a Hinglish play called Aastha in May. "It's a dark play with a sad end, based on the lives of theatre artists," she says, adding, "I play a budding theatre actor called Aastha."

i am so glad she chose to come in another play😳..theatre is way better than tv👏..esp for good actors..helps them to learn more...and its coming in may..just around shweta's bday..lols have u realised..she always does sumthing new around her bday..last year she came in a cameo role in DN😛...

i am def going to catch her play this time..last time i missed her debut play kiran cos of exams😕...this time i am free..i hope it comes around may as shweta promised..wish she named d theatre to where its going to be staged😛..

looks like she's really happy with her role as sonia😉..but i don't agree that tia has forgotten..even my parents who hardly watched remix..call her tia when she sonia comes on screen in AD😆

karan wahi might soon be seen in a new reality show on sony..tanu😳

he's one of the participants who will have to compete and will be rated on based of their acting, dancing and other skills..

so we might just see karan back on television soon enough😳

PS: aastha is such a lovely name😛...and dat pic of shweta reminds me of that hilarious episode from aek chabhi where shweta and her jiju dance on "aaj kal tere mere pyar ke.." to the much-horror look of the mohalla people😆

racheal if you are going to see the play then you have to update us with every dialogue and scene of shweta in play😳 😉


and i totally dont believe that shweta is more recognised as sonia more that tia those people who watch ad and never watched remix would have liked ehr best in ad but i dont think they will retain the same when they saw tia once in remix 😳 😉

but seriously what happened to his film god knows it has been pending from like years and dont know how much time it will take further

ya i enquired with my neighbour as she's involved with theatre and she told me she'll let me know abt d venue...anyways ads of her play will come in papers soon...

i remember seeing her play kiran's ad everyday in bt...so lets see😛
