TR fan - your thoughts on caption 11 - Page 2

i dont mean to b rude but i dont think they was anything wrong with it.If there was any problem do u thing we would have posted it.. and the very fact that people have voted for it tell that they do not find anything wrong with it. The results are out do u think therz any pint discussing about that now... if u or anyone else had any prob u could have PMed any one of us.And plz dont point out on anyone and say that we all know who has done it and all.. u just cant start playing the blame game without knowing.

What do you guys mean by saying that tia month was a disaster??? I mean after putting in so much of efforts, to rack our brains to think of rocking ideas and all, is this what we get??? It's not our fault...that inspite of thinking such rocking contest (tia's diary) we got only 3 entries.........and neither do i think that avatars were soo bad that you are calling it a flop. And if you guys think that tia month was a disaster because the anti ashi captions didnt win...and the one that was the most apt. one for tia...coz that was certainly how tia would have reacted, won the compy...then theres nothing much i can do to help u guys except pity on the way u guys think...

mods..firstly ...i am not blaming you for the entry..you havent posted it...someone else has...and even i understand the fact that you need to post whatever entries come your way during such an event.. and i guess everyone else realises that too....u have a duty to post it as a mod...and u have done just that.

again it doesnt make a difference if it was put in by a tR fan or a ay fan...newbie or a oldie...the truth still remains the truth...and that is that there is very thin line between good humour and bad sarcasm/mockery/ derogartory comments whatever we may call it....and it was crossed here

lets be very honest here...would tia call herself middle aged clown....would ashi call herself dumb bimbo....the answer is they wouldnt....if u look at all the remix epis...u will see that i am talking the truth....

if it was a ashi month or uv month or ranveer month or even vrinda month...the basic aim of all of them is to celebrate the serial and the part that these people played in our lives....the show wouldnt have been what it is without any of them...whether we like all of them or not...

....and putting out such a caption doesnt help doing that right....i mean think about it....do you think if priya reads a comment about her where the caption reads ashi - dumb bimbo...would she like it??...would shweta like to see this caption...if they wouldnt ...y do u think they wouldnt...because it would hurt their sentiments...because they would see this a mean....would they not??...not funny!..... such a comment made on any one for that matter would account as rude ..right?....not respecting or appreciating them...or the charachter they played once upon a time....which we claimed was close to us

if someone had posted a comment like this for ashi - i would have wanted people to stand up for ashi too ....if they truely believe in her they have to

lets remember that quite a few remix actors have been know to visit the RF...and this wouldnt be something that they would want to read na....

we have kept this going coz we like remix and every actor who made it what it is...lets not do anything that will put them down.....having discussions in one thing...thats healthy......but such comments are just gonna make it seem like their fans dont really like them....this is the honest truth...and what can be worse for an actor that that

see lamina i understand dat many actors do visit rf..but if u remeber d caption contest was for tia and nt fr shweta ...it was the character she played nt a caption fr shweta itself dat shell feel bad.nd .one more thing i need to say..dat its just a caption contest nd nt a big thing...we shud try to take it light heartidely its wid good intentions nobody meant to be mean ...

now nitz...how can u, on one hand term a caption referring to ashi's jokes as anti-ashi and on the other hand blame tr fans for terming another as anti-tia??..even dat first caption abt ashi was sumthing tia could have obviously said in such a situation, couldn't she??..u didn't like d first one coz u like ashi..doesn't d same apply for tia fans??

btw i didn't find d caption offending..if u ask me der was dis other caption abt ranny loving her only for he beauty and sumthing in dat line..which was meant to be offensive......

...anyways d contest is over and we have a winner.so der is no point in blowing dis out of proportion...

And i certainly don't agree dat dis month was a disaster.....we had more entries in avi's and captions than in ashi's competition...and even though d diary competition was tough..we had 3 good entries out of which one was a clear winner..dat makes dis month a success, doesn't it??

and like lamz said, nobody is blaming d mods or deir intentions here...u guys have done an awesum gud job wid tia month...watever protests u see here r just for d record..u can take it as a feedback..

Well rachel, its really good to see that atleast one person has said a word of thank for all our efforts...its disgusitng to see how people have given a disasterous end to tia's month...thats the difference between ashi and tia fans...we never termed any caption as "anti-ashi" until it was felt the need to make tia fans realize that there were other captions too... which could have created tamashas but it didnt... why?? because we know how to live up to the spirit of compys...ashi month was a huge success coz of the enthusiasm and constant support of all the ashi fans but tell me frankly, how many of u really came forward for helping us and suggesting things???? As hellrockers we wanted and we tried to make tia month also very special just for u guys and in the end we get all this rubbish... that was certainly unexpected!!

And rachel...its very easy to blame but very difficult to stand up and take the responsibiltiy...and well the history of rf says that some tr fans have always fled away!!

And one more thing, well i know who wrote it, being a part of hellrockers and we only decided to post anti-ashi caption... so if we post this... why not that anti-tia one? and now it depends on the members of RF to vote for it...if they liked it... they would vote for it.

ok since dis has all boiled down to d sportiness of ashi fans v/s. tia fans..let me tell u dis..when d mods came up wid d character of d month..ashi was chosen d first time around without any polls or general consensus.. but next time around der was actually a poll to choose between tia, yuvi and ranveer...inspite of dis inconsistency in choosing d month's character did any of d tia fans protest??weren't dey sporty enough then?..now again widout any polls..dis month is declared 2 be ay month..if der was such a huge demand for it..u should have kept a poll..ay would have won fair and sqaure coz of d demand and d majority, wouldn't dey??

abt d caption contest..like i said der was one caption which was damn offensive and should not have included in d first place..but i was sporty enough to ignore it..as for caption 11 and d anti-ashi caption..d reason why d anti-ashi caption didn't win and anti-tia did coz very few tia fans voted for d anti-ashi one but all ashi fans voted for d caption no.11..so wat does dat say abt spirit, nitz??

look nitz..i have been around at rf longer than u have and know abt its history better than u...d rt fans who u accuse of fleeing..were at one time more active than u can imagine..most of d vids, pics u see in d sticky posts are contributed by them..sum people r still active at other forums here..why dey r not active here at rf is sumthing only dey could answer..though most of us know why..

abt tia month..i still maintain that it was a huge success alteast in terms of participation..and i apologise on dose behalf who called it a flop...as for providing suggestions for d contests...i didn't even know dat u were accepting suggestions...

and btw nitz..u r a self-proclamied tr hater from sum of ur posts..which is fine..but then dont expect tr fans who r mostly new here 2 approach u wid suggestions..d reason why u have pms regarding ashi's month and ay month is well coz u r buddies wid ay fans as u urself r one..also inspite of being mods how many of u have risen above ur preferences and taken part in tr posts 2..u can't expect tr fans to be enthusiastic when u being mods don't encourage deir contributions...

btw dis is not d first time tr fans r accused of non-participation or lack of contribution....even if ay fans have contributed more deir's is only restricted to ay stuff...same goes for tr...nobody barring few members contributes in anything which is not to deir liking..

as far as taking responsibility is concerned i have been responsible enough to restraint myself for maintaining peace here ..so have others including lamina who started dis topic..

and talking abt ashi's month....was der a single entry which was anti-ashi or anti-ay...don't think dat we couldn't cum up wid funny entries which takes a dig at ashi..its just dat we were responsible enough not to..only our silence is mistaken..and when sum people do react..den dey are accused of overreacting...

first of all rachel, thnk u so much for appreciating the fact that tia month was a success 😃 but about u not knowing that we were accepting suggestions, well, it was written in the newsletter clearly that we're accepting suggestions.... & about d mods not taking part, let me tell u dat we did receive entries for d tia contests frm d mods, but obviously, we didnt reveal their names... it wud've been unfair, right?
about this being ay month, well, the reason is very well given.... last year july was very special for ay which is y we chose this month to be ay month....
about u being here longer dan nitz, well, nitz never said she was here longer dan neone or nething... & i dont understand wat u mean wen u say "most of us know y der r so less tr fans on rf".... plz do explain

n well u sed why we strted wid ashi month..we just experimented wid the first month n really strted on the basis of alphabets n it wasnt our fault ashi came first 😭 we planned d next as voting..even we were planning dis to be voting bt den we thot a surprise wud be better...n im agn really sorry if u didnt like it 😭 im agn really sorry if i was very incapable fr d post of viewbie here 😭 😭 😭
